Sprouts Farmers Market

I like Sprouts!
When I walked in, it reminded me immediately of either a wholefoods or Trader Joe’s, sitting somewhere in the middle of those two in terms of size.
As far as Farmer’s markets go, sprout maintains the cheep fruits and veggies deals, giving killer deals on anything that isn’t organic, but still affordable for things that are organic. You’ll either appreciate or hate that a good portion of the front of their stores are filled with bins of scoopable product, from raw nuts to granola to gummy bears. I enjoyed it, and was impressed with their granola section (definitely give the tropical mango granola a try)
Where Sprouts misses is when you want more than produce. Many of the Yogurts and cheese selections I took a look at came at a premium (i.e. 2 yogurt cups for $ 5), and sadly, there are no BOGOs or plus cards that you might find at larger competitors. If Sprouts is aiming for the Wholefoods/​Trader Joe’s customer though, maybe they’re not missing their mark at all.
Sprouts is a very walkable store, with nice wide aisles, great displays (notably the center chocolate aisle display… evil), and a nice deli where you can walk away with great deals on practically any vegetable or fruit you want, at much cheaper prices than a kroger or publix. If you want more than produce however, just remember that quality comes with a price. Happy shopping!

I love this place and, as a former Whole Foody, I’m grateful for the alternative. Since time of initial review when they first opened, I can honestly say that I see less traffic in the candy and meat isles and lines of people of all shapes and sizes in produce — inspiring! I think that management could do more to help people learn about alternative herbs and supplements though — I’m usually in that section by myself or with overly-​attentive employees who seem eager to help but (with maybe one or two exceptions) woefully
lacking in knowledge/​expertise.

Whenever I’m in the area I make a habit out of stopping here. It’s always clean, the produce is fresh & the workers are always helpful! Stop by one day! You’ll be glad you did!

I love this place! You can find foods fresh that you can’t at your other, more mainstream grocery stores. The only complaint I have is that prices were originally pretty cheap when they opened — obviously a ploy to bring in business — but prices now are as if not higher than other grocers.

Sprouts, what can I say? But OMGOODNESS… this neighborhood farmers market Is awesome. This is my first visit to a Sprouts farmers market. And all I can say is that I will most certainly return to a Sprouts market.
There’s a Sprouts that’s being build near my job in Cobb county. Now that I have visited one, I’m ecstatic about the new location. When I say they have some very good deals on fresh, beautiful fruits and already prepared deli slice meats and cheeses. Man I was in heaven and I had a $ 5.00 coupon too, that was all the more better. Gotta love those coupons.
The store was very clean and all items was very neatly organized, with all the prices very visible. That’s one thing I hate is going into a store and they don’t have prices on hardly any of their items. And you have to gather up those things and take them to the register or find someone to help with finding out the price. But!!! Here that was not a problem. Everybody I encountered was so nice and helpful about everything. And was willing to help find what ever your taste desired. THANKS SPROUTS EMPLOYEES!!! YOU MADE MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE A PLEASANT AND DELIGHT ONE.

First visit to store I was mainly browsing and just looking for fruit. Fruit was well priced however the second time I went to store fruit was very well priced I assume it just depends on the day you go and the selection that they have. I have went to farmer market and fruit was way cheaper but the quality and taste of the fruit was terrible. At sprouts I did not have the problem with their fruit or veggies. I’m also glad I found reasonably priced whole organic milk with the cream on top I would rather pay a little more for quality then quantity I ended up throwing away fruit from the farmer market. It is a very neat kept up small store which is easy for me to go in get what I like and get out. Perfect when you have little ones. The meat was also very well priced along with the chicken. The bacon I can’t say I would buy bc the price is a little cheaper at Kroger for a bigger selection. Other than that I’ve had a wonderful experience and recommend this place to anyone with a tight schedule and not much time to scavenger around store aisle after endless aisle.

When this neat and «quaint» market opened up, I was absolutely charmed. Strawberries for how much? The prices couldn’t be beat even by Wally World.
Now flash forward to today. The prices are overshot by some ranging from nearly two dollars to no less than about 15 cents. I don’t have the time to waste on a strange and poor selection of overpriced «organic» groceries when I can get organic from a country store such as Jaemor where everything is locally grown.
I like their herbal remedies selections. Their wines are interesting to browse through. That’s about it.
Kind of a poor excuse for a market if you ask me. Overpriced «designer» groceries. And DON’T GET ME STARTED ON PARKING.

I don’t know why they have such low ratings for this place, I’m so happy that we finally have a farmers market near by. We have have no Trader Joe’s nor a Whole Foods here so this is a blessing. They don’t have everything but they have most of everything I can consume without driving such long distance.
This is my daily stop by before heading home to pick up dinner. I can get my favorite cheese, which they do have a whole aisle for imported cheese. They have the bulk section for rice, beans, dried fruits etc… They even have mung beans, which I needed to make my Asian desserts with. I like the option of choose organic or not for their produce aisle. When certain item are on sale, I try to stock pile it.
The workers are super friendly and very helpful. I never left feeling disappointed or ridiculously broke.
I think their price is fairly reasonable. I recommend following them and read up on their weekly sales! They also do rain checks on a sale that is out of stock, that’s my 5 stars!

I’m on the fence; I wish I could give it a 3.5 star review but I will settle with a 4.
Please do not be fooled by the name; this is not a farmers market more than it is a gourmet grocery store. As my sister described it to me, «it’s as if trader joes and whole paycheck had a baby» type of concept.
The store is very clean! I will give them that. It is very well organized and has a simple layout. If you are having a hard time finding an item it’s probably because they don’t carry it not because of store organization.
The staff is friendly too. They are way more personable than you would think in a stuffy high-​end store.
They have a lot of store brand food items like Trader Joes. They have tons of breads, pies, cereals, dairy and other in house items. My dad got a sweet potato pie and says its“okay”. His hopes also weren’t very high seeing as it was a store bought pie
Here is where I start to feel they deserve a 3.5 star rating:
Cramped. The store is super cramped. The design isn’t compatible with the amount of traffic they get and I was playing shopping cart chicken the entire time. One lady even hit me in the hip. Ouch!
Prices aren’t really all that great. Some of their food items cost exactly the same as whole foods. You really can’t do an entire grocery shop here unless your are the select few with big pockets. This is more of a «go in for some select items» place and you will take your happy go lucky self down to Aldi or Kroger further down 124 to get real groceries.

Before I ever put a foot in the door, I heard people say if Trader Joe’s and Whole Food’s ever had a baby, it would be Sprouts. Well, that statement is definitely true. This is a very nice and well kept up store. Depending on what you plan on purchasing here, the prices here are quite similar to their bigger competitors so this is not a place to shop at if you are on a budget for the majority of your groceries. Though, you can still find deals, for example their bagels here give you six instead of five for $ 3.50. Today I picked up two 48 ounce bottles of Califia Farm’s Pure Almond Milk for just $ 3 each.
If you love honey, they sell pure raw honey here, which I absolutely love. This is something you will not find at your local Publix/​Kroger.
For all you nut lovers, they have bins full of all sorts of nuts, dried fruit and so much more. Their prices on meats is very fair as well.
The staff here are very friendly as well and the checkout lines are not too long either. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone who loves to live a healthy lifestyle.

They have good, fresh selections. You can find anything from Almond milks to organic butters, candy, natural soaps, cosmetics, etc. and all that kind of stuff :)

This place just opened in Snellville/​Lawrenceville and the neighborhood definitely needed it and is welcoming it with open arms! I love the concept: Neighborhood organic-​friendly farmers-​market supermarket-​style. I no longer need to drive 45 minutes to the closest whole foods or trader joes to get my organic food needs. In addition, the staff is really friendly and helpful. I was looking around in the homeopathic areas just out of curiousness and a staff member was prepared to answer many obscure questions. I was impressed. Sometimes I can’t even ask someone at kroger where an item is without getting shrugs much less going above and beyond to know the products.
Great wines that are inexpensive. Awesome quality of fruits and vegetables.
My one and only con — crammed. There is not very much space in between aisles. Probably can only fit 1 or 2 shopping carts through each area. It gets very claustrophobic at busy times. But if you go at odd times, I think you can have a good shopping experience and even find some new foods to try.

I try to stay away from Whole Foods ahem, Whole Paycheck just because I believe that good, healthy food shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg; but I do really like going to farmer’s markets for my family’s groceries. That usually puts me in serious coupon /​sale mode so I was really excited to hear about Sprouts.
Sprouts is located in the Webb Ginn shopping center, and parking is a PAIN! The spaces are really, really tight and there were several cars that had issues with parking so patience is a much needed thing when trying to find a spot.
I stopped by on the 3^rd, and found that they were having a huge sale including 12 ears of corn for $ 2. That’s even cheaper than most Asian markets where corn is usually 5/​$ 2. While I was packing up my corn, one of the employees told another that they were expecting 5 more pallets of corn as well!
The store is very organized and clean, but was very, very crowded. Most everything was clearly labeled and at a very reasonable price. I even got 2 small pints of lactose friendly «ice-​cream» for $ 5.
The employees were very friendly and helpful as well. When I passed by the meat section, there was a butcher that was explaining in detail which part of the meat the customer should get and how they could prepare it for her as well as the best way to cook it. Now that’s outstanding service right there.
I walked away with 5 bags of groceries for about $ 20 which is a steal! I brought the corn to our families’ Fourth celebration and everyone said that it was one of the sweetest, cleanest corn they had in awhile.
The 2 things that I do regret buying is the faux ice-​cream which tasted like… sweet slush and the nectarines which were confusingly both sour and bland.

Heard all the hub bub about this place. Decided to checked it out over the weekend and it was a wonderful surprise. First off the place was packed and the wait on line to check out (pay) reminds me of a Costco line. This location was well organized and the prices are great… .99 cent deals on organic kale is perfecto (I stocked up).Bulk section is awesome and seafood is a delight. Spend 80 bucks for about a week and half full of Veggies, fruits, seafood, chicken and took full advantage of ‘Get Real Alkalized Water” deal that they had (Buy 1 get 1 for free).Overall I feel that Whole foods has a larger variety of organic foods but at these prices Sprouts Farmer Market is my new go to spot. I’m very happy about the new Lawrenceville/​Snellville Sprouts! I went for the first time last night on a Tuesday night. It was pretty crowded but not terrible. My observations:
— Wonderful organic (and non-​organic) selection of baked goods, produce, dairy, and packaged goods.
— Prices are very competitive and their sale paper has a lot to offer. Grabbed up some avocados for 48 cents! Half the price of publix or kroger, even when on sale. Organic Kale, chard and lettuce for 98 cents a bunch. Score!
— Good wine selection with good sale prices.
— Loved the bulk bins. However I don’t like the bags they provide for bulk items. They are thin plastic bags (like produce bags), and its hard to get all the contents out once home. I like Whole Foods sturdy paper bags for their bulk items a lot better, but this may be how Sprouts cuts costs.
— Personally, their fresh chicken and beef selection left a little to be desired. I wanted to see more cage-​free and grass fed options. I will likely continue to get my meat from the meat counter at Whole Foods or Dekalb Farmer’s Market.
— Pretty good seafood selection. I got some wild caught Mahi Mahi (prev. frozen) for $ 4.99/lb!
I will definitely be back. I foresee planning my weekly meals around most of their sale items. Highly recommended and such a welcome addition! Glad to see more specialty/​organic/​all-​natural options in Gwinnett.

Bigger than Trader Joe’s but smaller than Whole Foods, Sprouts is another healthier living, natural food store in Gwinnett. Personally, I’m happy to see more stores like this opening up here and on the east side of Gwinnett instead of west side.
It’s located in the Webb Ginn Avenue shopping center. Since it’s still new, it was packed. The prices are not bad right now. I don’t now if it’s going to be the norm or just a special for now.
For example, $ 1.99 lb for ground beef, 12 ears of corn for $ 2, buy one get one free Talenti Gelato.
I didn’t buy any produce because I felt I can get the same price and quality at the Asian market. As for the meats, I did see the word organic but not on the fruits/​veggies.
Regardless I would come back.

First off it was originally listed as Snelleville. If you put that address into google maps and some other services it took you to the wrong location. Now their website says Lawrenceville, or Lawrenceville-​Snelleville. To avoid problems use just Lawrenceville. Its in a semi upsclare newer shopping center in Lawrenceville.
I went today, a Wednesday as you get the overlap of 2 sale weeks. The place was packed midday. Parking in the lot outside was tight! I’m familiar with their stores out west and they should have picked a larger store. Often though crowds die down as time goes on and headline specials/​prices get more in line so later on it should be better.
Overall its a good store and a nice addition to the Atlanta area. It will further stimulate completion which is good for consumers. In some ways it is similar to a Trader Joes but definitely has much larger departments of each, ie bakery, meat vegetables etc etc etc.
I found plenty of good bargains this opening week! They also offer an organic and non organic of many of the fruits, vegetables, and berries.
They have lots of bulk item bins, but I didn’t go there today. Too many kids fingering too many things for me to have an interest in that.
I noticed Kombucha for sale for much less than anywhere else in town should you be a buyer of that. (fermented drink). Wed the sushi dept puts WED special on certain packs of sushi for $ 4,99. Several, but not all produce items are local grown so they are fresher.
They have pre made full meals in individual containers, not frozen but fresh that looked good, most were $ 4.99. I’ll put in a pic of those.
This first week the lines were long and it was a bit chaotic. It should normalize in a few weeks. They had LOTS of help today. They seemed nice and friendly.
The biggest problem is the entry! Its an entry AND exit and its a mess! It is nowhere big enough and they line product there to slow people down even further. Plus people and employees congregate there to slow it even more! Too many people also bring along useless spouses and swarms of kids that also create roadblocks through the store. I ended up putting my cart out of everyones way as nobody could move and I gathered up things without the cart (buggy that is if your Southern) and then dropped items in it when I could. However I found people helping themselves to my stuff! I guess they thought it was abandoned. Those who hate crowds might want to wait until they die down.
I don’t live anywhere near, but wanted to go to check it out. I asked and they have plans to open more stores, so if this is just too far for you just wait. An employee said she THINKS the next stores will be around Jones Creek and Dunwoody. So we will see. These things are always subject to change. Overall I like there store!
UPDATE: The Georgia peaches are a bit unripe but in a few days they are very good! Smallish but gooood!!!
Update…the Sushi wasn’t that good. Im not buying it again.
UPDATE!!! ******* Second Georiga store opens July 16, 2014 in Dunwoody. 2480 Mt Vernon RD… so this will probably but much closer for most of you.
UPDATE– There will be a SPROUTS going in at Piedmont and Cheshire Bridge, where the old Taco Cabana was. No firm date but the sign is up! They leveled the whole block to do a whole renewal on that area. Should be nice for intown folks! Im looking forward to it!!!
Update 7÷19÷14 UPDATE 7÷19÷14 Went today and now that things are settling down, as expected the prices are tending up. Also the sale prices at the new store are not the same for the old store, so I should have gone to the new store. I tried a fresh sandwich order from the deli. The attendant takes an order then goes off to make it. SO the next person walking up doesn’t see anyone there working and wonders whats up. They seem to be going here and there for ingredients and cutting meat. You can NOT see them making your sandwich. I don’t care for this. Then when done if this is all you came for, you have to wait in the long lines to pay and get out of there. This ISNT going to work for those on their lunch hour like in one of the sprouts Georgia videos. I prefer the other well known places that make it in front of you, who have a well laid out work area in front of you, and where you can pay quick and then EAT IT. Theres also no tables at sprouts, so its really not made for someone to go eat there. I ate standing in the cart return corral in the parking lot. I was starving! This setup is not well thought out and isn’t good at all.

What a spectacular place! All shiny & new! It’s the perfect size for what Snellville/​Lawrenceville need. I popped in the night before the grand opening and was greeted immediately with a flyer and reusable grocery bag. The place was, of course, a mad house. But it was kind of fun. An amazing selection of foods with those who have dietary or allergy restrictions. I really cannot believe how much inventory was crammed into this store, but the shelves did not feel over crowded. The produce section was amazing! Check out was pretty quick. And their are places in the parking lot for shopping cart return. If you don’t like crowds stay away for a few weeks until things settle down. If crowds don’t bother you head over every Wednesday, as their sales run Wednesday to Wednesday, that’s right, double sales on Wednesday! This way you get the best deals from the past week and the upcoming week! That’s when I’ll be there!!!
