Gutter Pro

Gutter Pro anything but professional. Stay far far away. Bought their LivingSocial deal and had to first wait three weeks for an appointment. Then they cancel my appointment at 3pm on the day of the service. It should be noted I called them at 9:30am to find out when they were coming. Left a message. No way to get anyone on the phone. They finally rescheduled showed up at 10am and inform that the gutters were frozen and would return in 2 hours. They never returned. These guys are the worst. Now I’m stuck trying to get a refund from LivingSocial.

Horrible. They need work on customer service. I found a Group so thought I’d give a shot. Had an appointment scheduled for Monday. I have an outdoor dog and had to lock him up for this. Monday came and went — nothing. I left several voicemails and had no response. Finally Wednesday came and they called me back telling me that someone would be out on Thursday. They said between 9 – 1 (I explained I had to lock up my dog so needed to have an idea of time). Its 2pm… nothing. I left them a message telling them to scrap it and I will get my money back from Groupon.

I purchased coupon on Groupon. I called and left message on voice mail. I received called and scheduled appt. They person said that he would be in the area on the following Tuesday. I called back to confirm appt. and left several messages but no one returned calls or showed up. I had someone else call from a different number two weeks later. He left a message and was called back the following day. My friend asked the company’s rep when would he be able to come out and clean gutters. The rep wanted the address and said that he had spoke with me and told me that don’t service the area where my house is located. What a bunch of BS. I would never ever recommend them to do anything because of their non-​performance and lying customer rep. I would give them a ZERO rating if this system would allow it.

So I purchased this deal on Groupon and scheduling was easy. They gave me a day and said they would give me a time that morning which they did. They were here during the 2 hour window they set and it only took them about 30 minutes. They cleaned up the debris and even blew the driveway. Other reviews talked about hidden fees and gutter guard issues. They were quick and thorough and I was prepared to give them 4 stars BUT THEN I realized my gutter guards are gone. I let them do their thing and I stayed inside. I should have been outside watching. I don’t know what has happened to the guards. I found one in a flower bed. I know they were there because I adjusted one over the front door a week ago. Now it is no longer there. I would hope they didn’t just take them or hide them.

We originally had an appointment that they didn’t keep. Instead of contacting us to reschedule, they ignored countless phone calls and voicemails. Once we called pretending to be a new customer we received a call back. They were very stubborn about scheduling. The day of, we were immediately unhappy. Without prior discussion or any real information, the representative from Gutter Pro told us that our gutter screens needed to be removed during the gutter cleaning instead of leaving them on. We weren’t given sufficient information. In fact, the representative from Gutter Pro conveyed that the screens had to be removed for cleaning either way and could be put back on. Once they had removed the screens and we asked them to put them back when done, they informed us that they could not and they had broken the screens in order to remove them. They used leaf blowers to clean out our gutters resulting in large amount of refuse being strewn all over our deck, driveway, yard, and flower beds. Their clean up after this mess was horrible, and our yard and flower beds are now full of refuse, and there were broken gutter screens left in a pile on the side of the house. When we called to complain about the broken gutter screens we were told «You don’t have to pay me or call me again, in fact I would prefer if you did not». This was a total lack of respect for the customer and personal property.

I bought the deal on Kudzu. I think this company was overwhelmed by the response and were unable to keep up with the demand. When I finally got through to them, I was able to schedule them to come out. When they did arrive without a heads up, they were just going to clean the gutters and not the downspouts which had leaves in them. The kids were nice enough who came out and it is not their fault mgmt over extended themselves. I tried calling back to talk about my experience with them, but they never answered the phone and never called back. And oh… whatever comes out of the gutters is for you to deal with. So now I need to get my house washed now. Thanks Gutter «Pro», I will not ever be using your services again!
