This place had ruined my hair twice now. I have decided to stop going here. The manager cut my hair and both times she had«layered» it so badly I had to get it fix in a different salon. I will never come back here.

I have been to this Great Clips many times over the years(very close to where I live). When I was younger and my parents dictated what my hair looked like, so I did not care about the quality(I was more upset about my parents deciding on my hairstyles for me than about the haircut itself). Now that I am older, the last TWO times I have gone there I have been disappointed with the service. The time about 9 or so months ago left me with hair a bit shorter than expected, but at least it was still long enough to play with. And and all fairness, the hairdresser told me that my hair might not look like the style I wanted because of how my hair naturally sits. I still a little upset that she cut off more than what I asked, but at least she tried her best and explained why it was hard for her to pull off. This past time was ridiculous though. I went in, described I wanted long-ish bangs and a short back and/or sides. I put my finger at the bridge of my nose and told her I wanted the front to be below my eyebrows. I then showed her some pictures from Google of haircuts I wanted it to look similar to… I understand that they are NOT professionals with years of experience and schooling; they are a neighborhood shop that cuts everyday people’s hair. But, when I give minimum guidelines and they don’t even follow these requests, I feel I have just-cause to be upset. My bangs ended up at least half an inch above my eyebrows(so over an inch and a half shorter than requested). My sides were an awkward length that was neither long nor short… Again, if the haircut did not look that great but at least followed the guidelines I requested, then I would have blamed myself for expected a GREAT haircut from a cheap place, but the fact she could not at least do the minimum I asked makes me upset. If you going for a routine, simple cut that consists of just shortening the length or buzzing it, then I think Great Clips is fine. But if you are wanting specific, pay the extra $ 10-$ 20 to go somewhere that(I would hope) listens to your requests.

Sucks when you get home and you have to fix the uneven sideburns and back trim. Not going back.

While a review to a company that rotates its staff is always hard, this location has been good to me odor the past few years. Polite associates that can get the job done. I have seen a few new people come and go, but as of right now the two girls I rotate between using have been good for me.

My boyfriend gets his hair cut here and they’ve always been pretty prompt and do a great job. I especially love that there is a sushi restaurant right next door that I can wait at while he’s getting his hair cut! This is his go to salon.
