We are family owned and operated and strive to provide quality HVAC service to all of our customers. Our customers have the peace of mind of knowing that we will keep providing that quality service for many years, whether it be in service repair, sales, or warranty work. We provide free second opinion estimates to customers that need to change out an existing air conditioner or furnace. We specialize in the HVAC service and repair industry and can help to make your home a perfect comfort zone or make your home system more efficient. We work on ALL makes and models. Established in 1975.

Our mission is to achieve a safe as well as a comfortable home for all our customers. The average person takes their heating system for granted, not realizing that it must be serviced on a regular basis. One of our goals is to educate the consumer. We advise them to have the heating unit and water heater serviced and maintained at least once a year not only to prolong the life of the equipment, but; to protect their families. We also advise them to have their air conditioning systems and furnaces maintained to achieve optimum efficiency. (A very simple tip is to change the air filters at least every three months).

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Richard J was a young husband and father of three children. He had a dream to spend more time with his family and still make a living financially, not getting rich but to get by. He started Ace & A Heating & Air Conditioning in 1975 in Duluth, Georgia. «Ace» being himself because he was very talented in the HVAC industry and the «A» was for his wife Anna.

Within a few years the company was growing beyond what he could handle by himself, so he spoke with family members and friends about opening other branches to expand.

So then the company went from 1 to 4 locations… to this day only 2 of the offices remain in business. I am proud to say the Decatur office ran by Rick’s brother-​in-​law (Sam W) is still running strong along with our location.

both locations have put alot of sweat and time into building their business and we are all extremely proud of their accomplishments!
