Sav-A-Lot

I have been to this interesting establishment a couple of times now, strictly for the purpose of buying creamer for work when I’m too lazy to make the longer trip to Market Basket further up the road.
90% of what this store carries is generic brand. Hence the name, Sav-​A-​Lot. If you’re a fan of Spam and Hamburger Helper, this is the place for you. They have a small assortment of produce, but for the most part, not your traditional lettuce and tomato. More along the lines of ginger root, plantains, etc.
Another thing I found a bit off was that they do not have «baggers.» Actually, they don’t bag your stuff at all. Unless you ask for a bag, you’re just expected to walk out with your items in hand. I bought 2 cartons of creamer, and the cashier was already ringing up the lady behind me as I frantically tried to stuff them in a bag before I was run over by a shopping cart.
This place SHOULD be called «Sketch-​A-​Lot»…
