River Pointe at Den Rock Park Apartments

I have lived here for over 5 years. June, Stacey and Maurice are all class acts. They go above and beyond to help their residents. I can not thank everyone enough for all of their hard work and dedication!
The apartments are a good size overall. The pool is a big perk. More importantly the location is terrific! You do not feel that they are right next to 495 and/​or across the street from a grocery store making trips extremely easy.

Ihave lived here for almost a year and plan on being here for at least another. The residents are friendly, helpful, and quiet. The staff is wonderful.
My only complaints are no elevators and limited storage. For most people neither of these may be a concern but it limits some choices for apartments if stairs are an issue.
I enjoy much about living at River Pointe, staff and surroundings being prime among them.

Living at River Pointe at Den Rock Park has reminded me how much I love living at professionally managed apartment complexes. All of the maintenance is taken care of. It is also nice to be able to contact management if you need help or if an issue arises. The staff at River Pointe, particularly June Paquette, are always responsive whenever there are any issues. Overall, this complex is a nice place to live. It is quiet, well-​maintained, and it feels more like a condo or townhouse rather than a regular apartment. It is also extremely dog friendly, which is not easy to find. I would recommend living here.

Been a resident for over a year and highly recommend River Pointe. Very satisfied with attentiveness if we ever had thoughts or concerns. The staff has continued to make the complex a family and pet friendly property! Apartment living is not for everyone clearly but June, Stacey, and Rose try to make everyone happy.

Great place to live! To start off, the apartment showing was very convenient. June, and everyone in the office are very friendly and thorough! Full size washer and dryer are great. Our apartment was very clean and ready for us on move in date. We had a small issue with ac not working and it was fixed promptly. Would recommend this place to everyone!

I relocated all the way across the states to attend law school in MA, and I dreaded the moving process… but I must say, moving into the River Pointe at Den Rock Park Apartments has been a breath of fresh air!

I recently moved into River Pointe, over the summer the ease of dealing with June the rental coordinator was amazing !!! Originally I wasn’t suppose to move in til September but due to extenuating circumstances I needed to get in sooner. So June was on the hunt for a apartment for me & made it happen within days!!! Words can not express how great full I was !!! Also everything was done via email for the most part, due to my crazy work schedule. Also Rose has been a huge help too, from getting a couple things in the apartment that needed addressing, ex. my dryer wasn’t drying in one cycle. So the maintenance department ordered a part & when the part didn’t come in on a timely manner they replaced the unit. Thank you so much for welcoming me & my dog Lola into your little community, We look forward to making this home for a long time to come !!!

June, the rental coordinator, is by far the best apartment complex staff I have ever worked with. She responds promptly and always does her best to find a solution. I moved here from out of state and was trying to find somewhere affordable but safe and quiet, and June was able to show me a few units and get me in ASAP. We have now lived here for 2 years with our cats and are transferring to a new unit for another year.
Maintenance is prompt and does not leave a trace. The worst that has happened is our water heater broke and flooded our spare bedroom, but when I called that morning, maintenance was over immediately with a wet vac, fans, and a dehumidifier. A few days later, it’s like it never happened!
Parking is a little tight, but they maintain the lots and walkways well. Snow removal happens early in the morning and again later in the day to clear out the spaces after people have gone to work. They salt and sand regularly.

I really like living here, the property does have a Lawrence address but it is literally right on the North Andover/​Lawrence line and in Lawrence only by meters. Also the location is up on a large overlook and has only one way of entering or leaving so there has really never been much of a problem with crime. The snow removal is good and they sand and salt to keep it safe for people living here. The staff is brilliant, and the rental coordinator, June, is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with in an apartment complex.

Lawrence, MA. One of the poorest cities in New England, right next to Andover, MA, one of the wealthiest cities in New England. The rent here in Lawrence is higher than my last place in Andover by $ 404/​mo, but I needed a place quick at the time and this worked.
It’s barely OK. You pay a high price, NO utilities are included, and you’re still in Lawrence. Fairfield Properties built with the absolute cheapest possible fixtures and materials. I mean, really, when’s the last time you saw a stove with nothing, not even a timer, aside from four burners three of which are too small to actually use? No microwave. Stove isn’t even level and can’t be adjusted. Heat and hot water are gas, but the stove isn’t. WTF? Cheap beige carpet. $ 1 window blinds meant I had to tape blackout fabric over the bedroom window to get any sleep. Kitchen cabinets are crap and the doors sag an inch or two from each other. $ 10 ceiling fan in living room has no reverse. $ 5 ceiling fan in the bedroom doesn’t even have a lamp in it. Parking lot is striped to fit toy cars which means lots of door dings. The toilet is a tiny $ 25 China job and mine slants about 20 degrees to the south. Cheap plastic tub, cheapest possible faucets. Dreading my first winter heating bill due to $ 5 windows. The budget for the abundant plastic crown molding should have been spent elsewhere.
No excuse for this property constructed less than ten years ago.
You’re paying a big premium here for nothing, and I will be moving out once my lease is up. A fine example of just barely doing enough to get by while collecting probably the highest rents in the city. These many defects are things you wouldn’t usually notice in a showing, so next time I’d better look at things a little more closely.
Pro: generally quiet if you’re up the hill. Maintenance is prompt, because it has to be given the junk materials. Gas fireplace is nice and most units have a patio or balcony. In-​unit washer and dryer, and a dishwasher, but again the cheapest possible ones. Rent includes (cheap, hotel-​spec) Philips 40″ flat-​screen TV, which beats none at all I suppose.
