Beware of the older lady who usually wears a baseball cap! She will try to rush your order unless you know what you want and tell her everything, otherwise she’ll wait about a second or two for you to tell her what you want, and then walk away. Fear not new spanish food lovers, hold your ground and appetitie, and you make her put food in that styrofoam box for you to eat. It’s not that expensive(best time is lunch for price) or greasy compared to other places, but I prefer«Pollo Tipico»(190 Lawrence St) because it’s better food and cheaper, even though it’s a smaller restaurant, but has NICER people.

we usually get take away but the few times we have been in we were the only white-folk there. no worries we got great service. it’s the usual steam table and fried treats. i can’t really guide you here with the names of the things i like cuz i just point(yah, there’s a language thing) nod and smile at the stuff i want. i can say that the yellow rice with pigeon peas are realy good and are the bae of my usual plate. i really wanna try their spaghetti with red sauce but the coclor realy puts me offf. one of these days.
