This Dunkin’ like others in Lawrence, closes early. Two nights ago we drove up, it was 7:40, and the doors were locked. Sign clearly said 8, so we went through the drive through. Clerk reluctantly brewed us a pot of gingerbread coffee and gave us our munchkins. Interestingly, he said they had holiday spindles and something else, so we said we would try them. We just got a bunch of chocolate ones. Well, at least they gave us extra(like most Dunkins do).

Seriously one of the most unprofessional establishments I’ve been in for quite some time! Everyone behind the counter laughing, playing around and yelling to each other across the room vice waiting on customers. Two people came back inside to have their coffees«fixed».

I have lived in and around Boston my ENTIRE life, and I just HATE Dunkin Donuts. These places are such an eye sore. I pass literally five of them on my 15 minute ride into work each morning. Thier coffee is often burnt or completley flavorless. The food offerings are even worse than the coffee and completley unhealthy. I think it was a huge mistake for DD to go nationwide, because the quality seems to have gone down even more in the process. I only go to DD during absolute utter emergency situations where there is no other coffee place within reach. Lastly, I’d like to provide a description of my last experience at the DD in downtown North Andover. A «regional manager» or something of that nature took my order and boy was he an ass. He was so irritating and really obviously drank the company kool-aid little too much. First of all he was pitching things to me as if he was selling a vacuum and not a cup of friggen coffee. He then tried to talk me into getting one of thier disgusting new flat bread sandwiches or a pizza because it isn’t enough that you pay over two bucks for thier shitty coffee, they have to upsell you. THEN he hands me this pathetic looking coffee that he prepared for me and it was not filled at all. There was a good inch of space left at the top. I had to ask a regular employee to fill it the rest of the way behind his back. After this annoying experience I have not been back and do not plan to go. My advice is to find a mom and pop coffee shop with descent coffee instead of going to DD. They may not have«marshmellow» coffee but at least it will be drinkable! P. S. Most of the employees at DD are so dense they can’t get a coffee order right most of the time. They also seem to not know the difference between milk, skim milk, and cream.

«Time to make the donuts!» Ahhhh… my childhood favorite! I remember going here with my Dad before church on Sundays and picking out the donuts we wanted. They were still warm! My sis loved the honey dipped and my favorite was the glazed with chocolate frosting! Now, their coffee is so good it’s just plain sinful! Drive thru and get yourself a nice iced coffee… Yum! And you don’t have to listen to the…“Ummm…what should I get??? Oh… I’ll have a lowfat soy, half cap, mocha, frappa crappa! How refreshing is this??? It’s coffee… plain and simple. For those of you who have never been to a Dunkin Donuts… you can order the coffee on-line. The only donut stand they have is at LAX and I know they don’t make the donuts there. People here rave about Krispy Kreme donuts… but, honestly… they just don’t compare!
