Man, this place is expensive.
I came in here looking for kitchen supplies and I ended up buying not one thing.
Firstly, everything inside is organized. The staff aren’t friendly. It’s hard to find anyone who works there to help you.
Everything in this store is rediculously priced. The same items you can get from Walmart are sold her for double the price. I don’t know if its the brands or what. But $ 30 for a 12 slot muffin pan … Nooo way.
Almost everything in here is overpriced in my opinion.
I would only return if I’m looking for any professional housewares.

I love this location! It has the fine china and Harmon sections. (Unlike the one in gateway mall in Brooklyn)

I must admit that I am not crazy about doing shopping in the area. My preferred bbb is in manhasset but since I work in the area and I’m always at lawrence costco, I figured I should just get over it and come to this bbb which is on the way. All the associates here are SO FRIENDLY and helpful! I mean super friendly. You know how all the bbb associates always greet you when they see you walking around, all the stores does it so i think it’s their company policy, sometimes the greeting can be a bit robotic. This is not the case at this store, when they greet you and ask if you need any help, it is sincere (they make eye contact and wait for your response). The other bonus of this store is they have the Harmon Discount store inside of it in the section called (Face Value). It sells all the usual pharmacy stuff, soap/​shampoo, OTC medicine, etc. The prices are SUPER affordable… similar to Walmart prices. L’oreal shampoos, normal price at cvs/​riteaid, etc is +7, at this store, it is 5.99 everyday. I bought mucinex tablets, for around $ 10, at rite aid it is 14.99. this is just a few example of of stuff i bought. So i’ll be making this my normal weekly/​monthly shopping stop. the parking lot doesnt get crowded and you can usually get a spot very close to the store in case you are coming after dark… and you can use your 20% coupon for face value items also. And the other bonus is they sell the «sun lab» self tanners. very affordable. def beats the price from Ulta.

OK — Lawrence is not the greatest area in the world — but it is not the worst either. I never had problems shopping in Lawrence.
This BBB is fine, though — soilid — never had any problems. In fact last time I was there I was impressed with the service. I was looking high and low for a particular product I found on their website. Every BBB I went to referred me to another store for it or told me to order it online — not for an additionsl 7 bucks…
Anyway — I was in the area with someone — we had stopped at Costco — so why not drop into this BBB and check to see if they had what I was looking for. I was doubtful — but already there.
The manager said they didn’t carry what I was looking for ether — but she would check the computer anyway. Lo and behold they had 1 of what I was looking for in stock — listed as not being on the floor.
She had one of the cashiers leave his post (she took over for him) to go get it in the storage room. He said he had to climb for it and sort through some things but retrieved it for me.
The box had been through the war apparently — I almost told them I didn’t want it — even after their effort. But the product itself was perfect — I didn’t need the box anyway!
Plus the manager took 10% off for the damaged box. AND she gave me another coupon too. Wow — not only did they go out of their way to get me this product but they gave me a nice discount too — and I really wanted this product and had been looking for it for a while!!!
I was very happy with my purchase upon getting home and using it. The staff could not have been more helpful. Thanks so much BBB!!!
It is in a small strip mall with bigger stores like BestBuy and Burlington. The BestBuy is fine, The Petco was huge and nice but closed. The supermarket there was rundown and has since closed. Burlington is a bit shady — I hate stores where people throw everything into piles onto tthe floor… not the best clientelle — but even Burlington is OK — I never had any issues with anyone there — customers or staff.
