I love this place! I drive 2 older cars, and sometimes they need work. It’s very important to me to have a good mechanic and after searching around Lawrence and trying out a couple others, I found this place! They’ve always been fair and easy to work with. There’s no receptionist, when you call, someone who works there, or owns the business will answer. It’s family owned and operated. It’s not some super clean, corporate chain with employees in uniforms. It’s a dirty mechanic shop like it’s supposed to be. The tools have grime on them because they’re using them, not wasting time and money making everything clean and shiny. I love that it’s not about image, it’s about getting your car fixed and getting you on the road again. They always show me what the problem was and explain why this or that stopped working. I just moved 30 minutes away and have a problem with my truck. I’m having it towed all the way there because I don’t want to go anywhere else! Andy and Danny are the best! Also, I’m a girl and they’ve never tried to tell me the headlight fluid needs replaced or any crap like that :-)
