William Green Elementary School

I totally agree with the posting below. The current principal, Ms. Padilla, is really wonderful!!! She greets everyone with a big smile who comes to school for various events. I’m very comfortable sending my kids to this school that she directs and supervise.

This is a great school to send your children to. It is incredibly well rounded and has a great staff and team. Go Eagles!
The Principal here (at the moment) is a woman named Mrs. Padilla, who is wonderful. She has a great vision for the school. William Green is a «healthy» school and she truly enforces that. No chips, no junk food like donuts! She is also really personable. She stops by all the classrooms on a daily basis, and she’s greatly involved with the parents in the community.
William Green also has a great after-​school program called RAP (Reaching Amazing Potential). The program is run really well by this super organized lady. There are over 250 students enrolled in the after-​school program. They participate in many different activities like team building, homework club, music, art, and even Zumba!
Green also has a great resource for students who are behind in reading: Reading Partners. They team up with a non-​profit organization who recruits community volunteers to help students close their achievement gap and get back on grade level.
Did I mention again that the staff is great? And the school is incredibly clean? Never once have I smelled anything weird on this campus or saw anything dirty or gross. There aren’t even bugs in the classrooms, which is fabulous. This school knows how to use its resources well.
