History

Established in 2005.

This is a family owned «The UPS Store» franchise, providing various types of personal and business services for the Southeast Queens & Southwest Nassau communities. Opening for business in March of 2005, we are approaching our 10^th year anniversary! We provide services that did not exist in this area prior to our arrival. This The UPS Store location offers all of the products and services of a typical The UPS Store and then some. The services we offer are UPS Shipping, USPS shipping (Postal), Shipping Boxes (107 Sizes), Packaging Material, Packaging Services, Office Supplies, Fax Services, Binding (Spiral, Comb & Unibind), Laminating, Mailbox Rentals, Computer Rentals (Internet Café), Digital Printing (Black & White and Color), Wide Format Printing, Blueprint Printing, Posters and Photo Enlargements, Graphic Design, Folding and Pick Up Services.

I came here after being told by a USPS worker that the package that I was trying to ship is a UPS package. I was frustrated.
I asked her for the closest UPS and she told me there’s one on Merrick and Springfield. Good thing I Unilocaled it for directions for the easiest route whether it would be by bus or walking. Come to find out it’s closed, permanently.
I decided to look for another location in my area. It’s a quick run down Merrick Blvd. I was in and out under a minute and it was busy. I guess when you’re prepared and know what you need, there’s no issues.

You have a customer for life… I will never use FED EX HAS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE — the driver was supposed to get my package to me Friday, it is Tuesday night and NOTHING! Supervisor keeps making excuses for him, then they said I wasn’t home, which is BS, I’ have been home waiting for the package TWO DAYS, they didn’t even leave an attempt slip which means they are LYING!!! Will NEVER NEVER use their services for my personal OR business. On top of it all, I was told Friday the driver took my package back to the facility because he thought Black Friday was a holiday!!! MORON

There was only one customer in front of us, but someone came over to wait on us. She was very friendly, we were just dropping off a package. I don’t think we’ve ever had such pleasant encounter with staff from any UPS location before. We usually drop items off, but more employees like her would definitely be a huge plus. This location is rated higher than others in this area and I can see why. Would definitely come here again if we need to return packages.

I needed to have 1000 letters folded by a machine.
I called about 5 – 6 other places. All other places need at least a day to do the job.
This place told me to come by and get it done right away.
I received great help from the staff. All friendly. Big shoutout to staff Adoni who helped me with this mailing.

Attentive staff and great service, they even helped me wrap up my package at no additional cost (with my own materials). The service is a bit slow, but on a Saturday afternoon when I am the only person in the store, I really don’t care to be fussed over and have things rushed.
The store is a slight mess, but what do you expect, they ship packages here not serve dinner, so it looks just like it should. This is my regular go to shipping store now since postal rates can be sometimes ridiculous.

A very good community resource. My only complaints is that there have been one or two occasions when staff seemed to be a little impatient with difficult customers, but they always try to help as best they can. Also, I seem to always print more copies then I intend to… but that could be more my fault than their machine’s. Nah… it’s gotta be the machine. They have NEVER charged me for the unwanted copies though!
