The owner of Paradise Nail said she hadn’t seen me in awhile and that I had gotten FAT!!! I was going to walk out but I was in the middle of a pedicure. I will NEVER EVER go there again.

Today, was my first time here as I searched and visited numerous Laurel Nail Salons and was told it is extra this amount to remove the gel polish off my acrylic tip nails since I’m not getting gel anymore. Sigh! Well, now that everyone is adopting the pay for extra services trend, I found a place that only charged me $ 3 more. Good I suppose but hey it is a business and the purpose is to make money. I was greeted upon arrival and asked what service I need. I informed the young lady that I wanted a fill-​in, but did not want gel anymore plus I had a nail repair as well. I was told the price in a breakdown which I like and asked to pick a color. This nail salon has a lot of OPI, my fav, so I was pleased and the colors were in order by shade. Immediately after I picked my color and sat at the chair where the nail tech was, she told me that my nails are lifting up a little too much and asked me where I got them originally done at. I told her and she continued her work. My one nail she had to repair was done quickly and efficiently making it look just like the others. Brownie points!!! Within the next few minutes my fill-​in was complete and polish was being applied. It was good that they had Matte but after seeing how shiny my OPI picked polish was, I decided not to use it. I then asked for a polish change for my toes and got my eyebrows waxed. While sitting in the chair to allow my toes and nails to dry, Luke (I take it he is in charge and was the person I talked to on the phone.) asked me how did I like my nails. I told him I liked them and he said well come back again. I nod in agreement. Once I paid for my service with my credit card. The nail tech, Melissa, told me that next time when I pay in cash I will receive 10% off. I was like cool. Sounds like a plan to me. Saving dollars and coins are very important to me especially when other nail salons cross eyes at discounts. Overall, my first experience was great. They are pretty pricey but you get what you pay for and believe me I have had my horrible experiences paying a pretty penny so I’m skeptical anywhere I go. I look forward to my next nail service.

Get my gel pedicures here– and they have a massive selection of gel polish. I’ve been here a few times and really like their service. Will keep coming back. Reasonably priced, too. Nice space. Quiet.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade. I loved it. I come at least bi-​weekly, but can come once a week. I alternate my services so I can carve out that me time. However, today is my last visit. The service is getting so bad. They don’t respect my preferences, instead, they complain to one another in their L1, and its a little insulting. Especially when I am the paying customer. I’m not sure if Cindy is on extended leave, but they need to bring her back! I’ve been trying to tough it out without her, but I refuse to come back here. I even refuse to get the additional services I planned to get today.

I drive way out my way to come here, and dont feel appreciated for it. I pass at least 10 salons btw my house and Paradise. I’ve been coming since my kid was in elementary school, as her tutor lived around the corner. That was about 4^th grade. My child is now in 3^rd year of college.
Change is good, I suppose.

First time trying Paradise Nails, and I absolutely loved it! It was very clean, beautiful and relaxing décor, and the staff was very professional. I had a Shellac gel manicure, and it was expertly neat and there was a wonderful selection of colors. The technician was friendly and respectful, even though it was close to closing time. The pricing was appropriate, and tips were available on my credit card. Will definitely return!

I visited this place last Friday and already my nails are chipping. The guy basically did not pull back cuticle, did not put a base coat on, and did not fill the nail thoroughly. This service was ok although I would think they be more clean with there tools since they reuse them. I will not return here!

Just tried this place for the first time today and was very impressed! The salon is clean and nicely decorated. I got a manicure and pedicure for $ 35. I was very impressed with both the price and how great my nails looked. All of the staff was very pleasant. I look forward to returning in the future!

I recently moved to the area and am on the search for a go-​to nail salon. Ya know, a place where everybody will know my name.
I used to go to Beauty Nails a little further down Route 1, but sadly my manicurist left the country… I figured I may as well find a place closer to my new home.
Paradise is located in the same shopping center as Weis and on the same strip as a liquor store and papa john’s.
The interior is nice and updated. I went in on a Wednesday night a little after 7:30 for a Mani/​pedi ($ 35). Wasn’t sure if they’d be able to squeeze in both since they close at 8 but told me they could. I noticed another customer arrived at 8 for a gel mani, the other manicurist took her even though she had her coat on and was ready to walk out the door. How nice of them!
I didn’t catch my manicurist’s name, he did a fairly good job overall. A couple nails weren’t filed properly and there was a piece of lint stuck on my polished finger, but he corrected everything as soon as I pointed it out. He did so politely too.
Overall this place is good enough, the staff is friendly and accommodating. They might even take you as they’re about to close.
Only downside is they didn’t seem meticulous (that also could have been cuz it was late and he probably wanted to leave) — didnt wait in between coats, nails not filed perfectly, all that little stuff that bothers OCD nail freaks like me lol. However, they’re very nice and are happy to fix whatever you point out right away.
I’ll give this place another try, probably a little earlier in the day so they don’t have to rush.

Real cute place. Got a male tech who was really great, especially with making my acrylic tips nice and round. I paid $ 45 for a pedicure and acrylic set. So the reason I gave the 3 stars is b/​c I could have gotten my pedicure and a gel set for the same price at another place. And ontop of that, it REALLY cost me $ 50, but the man who provided my services took off $ 5. Love how my nails turned out, but I usually get gel sets where I usually go and it’s much cheaper so I don’t think I’ll be back here.

This place is 2 mins from my house which makes it super convenient. They’re friendly and they do a great job.

My usual place was closed today for Memorial Day so I came here instead not knowing what to expect. Pleasantly surprised! All 8 pedicure chairs were occupied with clients when I arrived but they told me wait would be 10 minutes. I probably only waited 5. They were fully staffed — at least 12 people working.
The chairs are much better than other ones I’ve sat in. I really liked the compression on the glutes and legs.
Long was my technician. He was friendly, easy to communicate with, and gave probably the best lower leg/​foot massage that I’ve ever gotten with a pedicure. And I’m a licensed massage therapist so I can be very picky.
I also thought their prices were great. A few dollars less than my usual place!
I will definitely come back and ask specifically for Long. Very pleased!

Not the best, not the worst.
The staff were friendly and took me in even though they were pretty close to closing. I got a male pedicurist, which felt a little weird. He was good though, and took his time. Unfortunately the massage chair totally sucked so I didn’t enjoy the experience as much as I would have liked to.
In a pinch, this place will do.
