Established in 2013.

Locs N Twists By Lauren was created in 2013. Beginning in 2012, Lauren began her interest in natural hair care with the development of her natural hair care blog, The Sisterlocked Diva, and styling her own hair as well as a few friends upon their request. Lauren officially began a natural hair care business in 2013 with the mission to educate women, men, and children with textured hair on proper maintenance, care, and styling for natural hair.

Lauren Francis-​Jackson is a natural hair enthusiast who believes in healthy hair begins from the inside. She began her interest in natural hair through developing a natural hair care blog, The Sisterlocked Diva, which aims to educate men and women on proper care of natural textured hair. Through her blogging, she decided she wanted to study natural hair care more in depth, to become a natural hair stylist and hair educator. The mission of Locs N Twists By Lauren is to educate and care for textured hair of men, women, and children with the priority being hair health. Beginning in January 2014, she will begin a natural hair certification course for curly hair and traditional locs. In April 2014, she will be taking the training course for sisterlocks.
