Description

Specialties

Authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, including kebabs (lamb, beef, chicken, ground beef, ground chicken, tandoori chicken) and gyros. We also serve an array of Indian dishes such as meat and vegetable curries. If you’re a vegetarian, we offer a variety of choices such as falafel, vegetable specials, hummus, fresh tandoori bread made as you wait, lentil soup, and more. First time visitor? Our friendly family of owners will be happy to walk you through the menu and offer you a sample of a few menu items. As we always tell new patrons: «Welcome to Gourmet Shish Kebab. Trust us, you’ll be back here to eat again.» Ask about catering and reservations for large groups. We are more than happy to help.

History

Established in 1996.

Gourmet Shish Kebab has been owned and operated by the Aldellemy family since it opened in 1996. All cooking and preparation is done by Suhama Aldellemy, who boasts over 50 years of Middle Eastern cooking experience under her belt. Saubhe Aldellemy, the restaurant’s co-owner and husband of Suhama, can usually be found greeting customers and taking orders. Often, the Aldellemys are joined by their three daughters; Dalfa, Zena and Dena, who share managerial duties from time to time. This business has been a growing success for nearly 15 years, due largely to the word-of-mouth recommendations our customers give to their family and friends. The restaurant was remodeled inside in 2006 to add to the authentic Middle Eastern ambiance.
