Established in 1987.
Dr. David Kitahara has been serving the Laurel community since 1979. He opened his family dental practice in Laurel, Maryland in October of 1987.
Dr. David Kitahara additionally has 6 years of experience working in a pediatric dental office, has certification in Orthodontics for general practitioners, and completed Biolase Laser training in 2005. He has been honored as one of the top-rated dentists in the area by Washington Consumers’ Checkbook and The Guide To America’s Top Dentists.
In July of 2010, we welcomed Dr. Bryan Kitahara into the practice. Dr. Bryan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School in 2009, followed by a 1-year general practice residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Business Owner
Dr. David Kitahara resides in Laurel with his wife, Arlene, and has provided family dental care to the Laurel community since 1979. Dr. David Kitahara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from The University of Maryland in College Park and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1978, followed by a year of residency in general practice dentistry at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. David Kitahara is committed to providing state-of-the-art, high quality dentistry, by taking numerous hours of continuing education and maintaining active membership in the following professional organizations: Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of GP Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Association, and the Chinese Dental Study Club.
