Dr. Miles serves on the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners and the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
We have a special interest in cosmetic and sedation dentistry, but we also focus on the mouth-body connection and conditions such as TMJ, sleep apnea and snoring. Business Owner
A graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Melnick founded Laurel Lakes Cosmetic Dentistry in 1987. His goal was to build a high technology dental practice that offerred a full range of high quality family and cosmetically oriented dental care under one roof. He is recognized as a Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics.
He has special interests in offerring headache relief/TMJ therapy and works with local sleep physicians to help manage Sleep Apnea. Along with his business partner, Dr. Maurice Miles, and specialists in periodontics (gum disease) and pediatrics (children’s dentistry), the practice also offers a full range of general dental services, full mouth makeovers, Invisalign, Botox/Dermal Fillers, and oral conscious sedation. In 2015 the practice was named a Top Rated Dental Practice of Washington DC.
