Blaze n’ Blues… barbecue, burgers, and so much more! Since 2011 Chef Michael Frenes has created a barbecue experience like no other by using high quality meats, organic veggies, and freshly baked breads. Our AWARD winning baby-back ribs, pulled pork, and tri-tip are seasoned with our house-made dry rubs and fresh marinades, then slow smoked for several hours to guarantee that «real smoked» barbecue flavor. Our freshly ground and seasoned ½ pound Angus beef burgers are handmade and our free range chicken breast are marinated to perfection. We hand cut our fries and potato chips, freshly mix our slaw to order, and all of our sauces are made from scratch! So let Blaze n’ Blues bring you that «taste of summer» all year long by dinning in, ordering to-go, or allowing us to cater your next special event!
History
Established in 2011.
Blaze n’ Blues BBQ originated in Santa Barbara, CA as a food truck specializing in slow smoked meats. We received the «People’s Choice Award» in 2013 from 4BSB for our Baby-back ribs and took first place in many other BBQ competitions in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, CA. We opened in Old Town Saloon Dec. 2014 to continue our goal of bringing good food to good people!
