Surprisingly impressed. Very fresh, well-seasoned, but not salty, grilled salmon. With the first bite, I could tell this was really fresh fish, not something that had been sitting in a display case for a few days. The portion was great for 9 $. I actually split the hot lunch special with a family member-you know, trying to reduce portions. The steamed veggies were waterlogged, but at least they were a healthier side option to counterbalance the other side of white rice. Didn’t take long for the friendly fishmonger to grill up my selection, he was even considerate enough to ask how well done did I prefer the salmon be cooked. The mild flavor of the flaky salmon definitely peaks my interest to return and sample more of the lunch specials. The cashier is all business, no smile. I don’t understand why a person raises his or her voice, if you don’t understand his/her accent. Just a cultural thing, I guess. I’ll plan my next visit better, so that I can also buy some fresh uncooked seafood.
