Food was ok. However; when my glass was empty, the older waitress asked me if i would like more to drink. i replied yes. she took up the glass and proceeded to clean up the table next to ours. My glass was still in her hands as she picked up 5 other glasses. In other words, my glass touched the rest of the dirty glasses – totally not acceptable. when the waitress returned with my glass my wife told her what she did. she told her to bring a new glass. The waitress had an attitude. When she arrived with the glass I knew I had better not drink out of it. My wife told the waitress she gave me her drink instead

This is my first(and last) time coming to this buffet. The first thing I did was use the bathroom and it was not sanitary and the stall doors didn’t lock. Very little food to choose from and they’re quite mediocre. They’re fresh, but not tasty. I usually get full fast but it was so bad I didn’t. The servers were quite slow and forgot to give us straws. The clam chowder was on fire though ayeeee

Worst place I’ve been to BEAWARE just now I saw somebody run to the bathroom intoxicated. I couldn’t finish my plate. The staff is rude and don’t care about the customers. Never coming back.

Me & a few friends have been going here for awhile now & we love how the buffet has so much more selection than other buffets. They also have nice, large booths that you can sit back & relax while you gorge yourself. I haven’t found any better buffets in Broward county, so I don’t know why it’s getting such low reviews. Honestly, Chinese buffets don’t get much better than this place.

This food was terrible. Bland. Don’t waste your money. The sushi sucked too! I hate leaving bad reviews for restaurants, but I get upset when I have to eat crappy food. They need to revamp their menu and hire new chefs. The only thing that was edible was the Hibachi.

My God let me start by saying keep driving and read this from your car or after you eat some where else. These people got to be kidding me. From the service to the preparation of the food this place falls not even short, they fall off the Great Wall Of China with this BS. I won’t dog them to bad and will tell you some good things. The food is really fresh, nonstop new food coming out. I said fresh not good tasting FRESH, theirs a difference. The fried fish, chicken and egg rolls were edible. The fruit was really sweet especially the watermelon and they had plenty of choices. Let’s talk cleanliness, if it’s a requirement from the health department they just have never been here, forget it they get a G, because F means they can regroup. G just means GETOUT of food service business. You know when they come change out food they lift the water pan and replace with a hot fresh dish, well this place does as well but drops dish pan water in all the food adjacent to the exchange pan. They make no effort to stop the dripping water nor do they clean around the pan they are replacing. The bathroom, Jesus I had to take the kids next door to Duncan Donuts. I told the attendant their bathroom was dirty she looked at me like AND! Service, much like the other comments they are just rude and no kind of customer service but expected a tip. Let’s talk Food, the crabs had some nasty glaze gravy. I’ve never seen or tasted anything like it. WHY! GRAVYON A CRAB! Then the snow crabs were cold with a nasty movie theater butter. They sit on ice literally to be served cold. I was like ok enough let’s pay these people and leave. I went to the waitress stand and asked for our check, she gave me check I gave her a card and she said do I put my tip on here. I’m like Girl please you should be tipping me to no slap fire outcha! I told her no she walked off with my card way across the restaurant to another cashier machine. I stood there waiting and saw her go towards my table to my husband. I waved, I’m right here she gave me a unit and went to the table any way and placed the lil bill tray and tip tray on the table in front of my husband. I gave her a unit back and walked over and picked it up and exed ZERO for the tip! She then readjusted the tray as to get attention from the others at the table. I’m thinking now these $ 10 cash I was gonna give her she’s not getting cause she really wants a tip because its traditional to tip. I usually tip 15−20% but she tried me with that foolishness. I’m all for a hustle and down 100% behind a hard working woman but this was crazy! Very unprofessional, very rude and just trashy to be so nasty and want money from us. No MAM! This place falls short of the super buffet experience. I read some of the other reviews and this place not cheap it was $ 13.99 pp. In my defense. I told my husband olé cheap self to go in and check it out before we get out the car, his words«with all these people in line it has to be good and cheap». He was right like the south say GOODINCHEAP! Meaning Cheap classless place. No thanks I will stick to my right side of the tracks!

Cheap, clean, tasty & a good selection of food. It was actually cleaner than most typical chinese buffets & restaurants that I’ve visited… and I’ve visited many here in South Florida over the last 30 years. The waitress was friendly & kept wanting to refill my glass. The food was good & some of it was«really» good(such as the«seafood & cheese» dish)…and there was a large selection of different foods. The sushi tasted as good as the sushi I got at a $ 15/plate Japanese restaurant that I went to last weekend. The price was right on. The total was $ 8.47(I just had a water, since it was a hot out)…on a side note, I went to Subway the other day & it cost me over $ 10 for a sub, drink & chips. And they made ME get up & get my own refill. Also, after reading the other reviews, I don’t know what other people expect for $ 8.50. If you are looking for a sparkling-clean restaurant with 5-star cuisine & a maitre d’, then go to a sparkling-clean restaurant with 5-star cuisine & a maitre d’. But if you want a good all-you-can-eat chinese buffet in Broward for under $ 10, then come here.

Okay, there is a lot to be said pro and con about this place but it is consistently packed with people and so the food coming out is hot and fresh. I love it here, my son from Chicago thinks it is just so so. I am experienced at China buffets and I think this one at very good prices indeed can rack up with the best of them. That being said, I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and changes in the cuisine have been made. Flan has been added that tastes homemade. Plus a few cold seafood salads which are yum. Dim sum is limited but they have added the shrimp one that I always love. Sushi is also limited but quite good enough. If you are motivated by sushi best to go to one of the Japanese and more expensive buffets. Their fresh shrimp is usually perfect. Over the years, I have learned my preferences which you will too. The cheese/cream mussels are best there. The bbq ribs are top notch. The beef ribs which you never see have a thick sweetish sauce that is delish. And a tasty variety of broiled/baked fishes for those watching their health/food intake. And so much delicious fresh fruit. I usually gorge out on the watermelon. But the hot apple streudel is a taste treat all by itself. Prices for lunch are super cheap and there is 10% off for seniors at any time. Over the weekends, they add various cold seafood items, crab claws, hot garlic crab/a true delicacy etc. But the icing on the cake is on any given holiday, there is garlic lobster which is similar to the garlic crab. This garlic crab/lobster is to die for. I used to dream about the garlic crab when I was snowbird from Michigan. It’s just that good! Had it other places and it doesn’t compare. Service has always been satisfactory. I’m surprised to see such serious criticism You would pay the same to carry out food for lunch and this is all you can eat! The bottom line is, if you can’t find anything you’d like, then you might as well not eat out. Selection is excellent and always fresh and tasty. Ps. At Xmas went to the Plantation buffet for a change and the price was considerably more and not as good. There was a grill person but I was not impressed with the food quality at all. Also there were always throngs around the tables which I thought was super annoying. Let me know what you think of King’s. …Anitamich at A O L

King buffet has a variety of food for those who are meat lovers or seafood diet. Staff were ok but my pet piv is when i get my bill and the server mind you only providing drink refill says service isn’t included in your bill plain terms leave a tip I hate that so with that said bill was paid and tip never happened.

I remember when this was a seafood restaurant. The buffet is very plentiful. I came in a few minutes after opening and all the food was very fresh. I thought the food quality was very good for a buffet. The server kept the dishes bussed and drinks full. I would definitely come back here.

This place has to be a joke. The cooks do not know what they are doing. Everything at the buffet was nasty as if they got it from the garbage. I hate to be so harsh, but this was the worst tasting food I ever had. I went a couple of days ago and got take out and took a little bit of everything. I figured the food looked good so it should be delicious. «Looks can be deceiving!» I’m sorry, I would never go back to this place it is definitely not worth my money.

My husband and I went there for lunch today. It was great! All the food we ate was fresh and hot, great variety of foods. We will definitely be coming back! The decoration is gorgeous and the staff is extremely friendly. We think we have finally found the place where we can go and eat whatever we please for a very affordable price.

King’s Super Buffet is a really big Chinese buffet, pretty much what you might expect for dinner with the King Crab legs, mussels and so forth but also with $ 5.95 lunch special having a huge assortment, especially with sorts of chicken such as Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken with Broccoli, Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken with Snow Peas, Sweet and Sour Chicken, a Boneless Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and a Chicken with Cashew but all generally adjusted to the American taste bud. Overall I found it to basically be a belly filler low budget place with the ingredients rather subpar to mediocre but generally what you might expect for the price. The service staff tries but you’ll find them far short of being professional.

Quiet night? Full belly? Well I got those wrong.(Part 2) With great, great detail(if this post wasn’t evident of this ability) I explain to him what I have just posted here. He then repeats my options. I give in and offer to pay for one meal but not the wine. He then goes back to them with my offer… They took off the wine… So now the bill is down to two meals at $ 12+ plus tax and I still have to go spend more money so I can actually have nourishment. John whips out his credit card, to spare me the aggravation of having to dispute the charge myself later, and as she hands it back she snatches it back and asks for his MOTHER F**KING I.D. ??? AREYOU F**KINGKIDDINGME? SERIOUSLY??? We called the cops on ourselves, stood around there and waited for the cops to arrive, which was the decent, moral, and ethical thing to do and this stupid Bitch has the nerve to assume the credit card may be stolen!!! Well of course as you can see its already been such a pleasant night that everything would wrap itself right up into a neat little package, right? John left his I.D. at the house… So the cop assures these Chinese Buffet Nazi Globalist scum bag Mother F**kers that he will verify that he is who he is and it will be fine. Hot Damn it’s finally time to go eat! Did I mention I was staving? WRONG!!! I turn around and John is now in handcuffs. WHY??? Well he was arrested in Massachusetts for assaulting someone, which came as quite a surprise to me, but more so to John, who has never been to Massachusetts nor has ever been arrested for assault. But i suppose when you have an all American, run of the mill, dime a dozen name like he does, it would only be expected that when there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of people with the same name as you, and not surprisingly even possibly share your birthday, that you will encounter this unjust, false arrest like he did tonight. So after an hour and a half of this Bullshit we were finally«FREE» to go. If the account of the events I have depicted here makes you think at all that I would even think of going back here then you are very wrong and obviously didn’t read it. The cop even told us, after walking out with us the first time, that he would never eat there. He even shared that he is at this most«pleasant establishment» 2 – 3 times a week for similar instances… If that’s not the writing on the wall…

Fool me once… A family member recommended this buffet, and my parents and I ventured there for dinner. I didn’t think to check the reviews since said family member was raving about this place and their quality seafood. The variety was what you would expect at any buffet(snow crab legs, stone crab claws, oysters, and shrimp), but the quality was sub-par. The meat of every crab leg I cracked was stuck to the shell(prepared incorrectly) and there were shards of shell inside 3⁄5 oysters I ate which made for an interesting surprise with every bite. Having not so much luck with the seafood, I moved over to the hot items… Which lacked in flavor and were all lukewarm. My parents and I don’t dine at buffets often and needless to say after this experience it won’t be awhile until the next buffet outing.

The food is mediocre, hasn’t changed in variety for years(desperate people go there because they can’t afford to take 6 kids out on a budget) and the food is ALWAYS lukewarm. I’m surprised that the health department hasn’t closed them down. Please check their inspection history at the Florida restaurant inspection website. ****UPDATE***** Weird. I just read this AFTER I posted this review. Kings Super Buffet, 7101 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderhill was cited for the second time in May, on May 22nd. It was briefly closed May 14 after an inspector observed live roaches, rodent droppings and other issues after a food borne illness complaint. After a pest control service visited the premises it was allowed to re-open May 15 after a follow-up inspection. Manager Cindy Lin said on May 22, «We cleaned everything and everything is perfect. The food is good. We are trying to do better than before.» But that day, state records show, the restaurant was closed again after uncovered food was observed in a walk-in cooler; 1 live roach was seen on a wall over the dishwashing area, 2 live roaches were on shellfish tags, 6 live roaches were under a prep table in the dishwashing area and 2 live roaches were on a bin near the dishwashing area. Also, the certified food manager certificate had expired in 2007, and employee training paperwork was invalid. On May 23rd, the restaurant was allowed to reopen DBPR records say there were no roaches found during a callback inspection and the business was given a time extension to fulfill a food manager course requirement. Part-time manager Larry Lee said, «The restaurant has re-opened, and there is cleaning every single day before closing, there is a big cleaning every week, and every 10 days, pest control comes. Right now everything is okay. We passed the re-inspection. We’re trying to make sure everything is good and healthy for the customer.» The Crime & Safety blog reports on inspections of South Florida dining spots each week as the state pursues its goal to review Florida’s 45,000 licensed restaurants twice each year. Going out to eat? Search our databases before you leave home. For restaurants between Palm Beach County and Key West, bookmark this link: For Central Florida/Orlando restaurants check here: A state spokeswoman has said it is not the number of critical violations that will cause a restaurant to be temporarily shut down, but rather the nature of what an inspector finds that merits closing a business. After a restaurant is shuttered, an inspector typically visits again within 24 hours and continues to visit until violations are resolved and the business can reopen. Repeat critical violations can lead to fines of $ 500 to $ 1,000 per instance in a future administrative complaint levied by the state. If a bad dining experience makes you feel ill, it’s easy to complain to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation by calling 850−487−1395 or by filing a report online at . But beware: this isn’t the place for personal vendettas. False reports can lead to misdemeanor charges. And if you haven’t checked out a bistro’s inspection history online before making a reservation, state law requires restaurants to provide customers with a copy.

Okay, so once again I’m going to review a buffet. I know what you’re saying, «A buffet, how in the hell can you rate a buffet? What you couldn’t eat all the food you wanted or something» Or,” A Chinese buffet? Been there, done that.” Or, my personal favorite, «A buffet? Bitch please.» Well all I got to say is fuck you. That’s right, I going to rate a buffet and you’re gonna like it, want to know why? Because it was a damn good one, that’s why! To begin with, the buffet itself is actually in the center of the entire restaurant which I personally like since it keeps the flow of ppl very mobile and not stationary, because if there’s one thing I hate it’s when I’m next in line to get some General Tsao’s chicken and some old lady cuts in front of the person with the serving spoon and totally bogarts my portion of General Tsao’s chicken. Dammit old lady, I like the crispy outer portions too! Another thing that they have is a very nice and large selection of food. If you go into you’re average China Bofo(that’s what I call Chinese Buffets for short, get used to it), you pretty much have tasted it all. Except here they offer other stuff I never had at any China bofo’s. They had over 6 different kinds of shkrimp, hella different rices’s, and a big ass area for seafood: from snapper to cod, to crab claws and, especially to crab legs. Fo’ sho, they got some crab legs, all you can eat, bitches! That’s why they stay busy. There really aren’t too many places that offer all you can eat crab legs, well, maybe Red Lobster but only after their corporation deems it possible to serve it to us. Fucking corportations, we like sea spiders with butter give us more! But I digress, the fact of the matter is that King’s is a very good buffet at a fairly reasonable price: $ 11.99. What, that’s too much for you to eat ALLYOUCANEAT crab legs? Please, it may not be the brunch buffet at the Hilton but, it sure will fill you up. If you’re tired of the same old China bofo’s and want something different check King’s out, you might just see how good a China bofo could be. «Go there if you choose but, go there with empty stomach» — Old Chinese Proverb(not really)
