Exquisite Auto Sales LLC

Let me start off by saying I’m one of those people that very rarely write online reviews, but based on my experience with Exquisite Auto Sales, if I can save just 1 person from being ripped off, I’ve done my part.
I am in the market for a used vehicle. I’ve been looking at Acura TLs and Audi A6s, primarily. During my continuous search, I encounter a 2007 Acura TL S-​Type being sold by Bobbie Sera himself. The car is advertised as a white 2007 Acura TL-​S with ~63,000 miles for $ 9,500 — sounds a bit too good to be true, but I go to see it anyway. I show up at the address he gives me: 7319 West Oakland Park Blvd– Lauderhill, FL 33 319. Upon arriving, it’s actually a tax preparation business. A few minutes after our set meeting time, he arrives, ripping through the parking lot in the famed TL S-​Type. He parks, hands me the keys, tells me to take her for a spin and proceeds to unlocking his business door and allowing a family that was waiting even longer than I to enter.
The car:
As with most cars I’ve gone to see in person, not quite as described/​shown in the online photos. It wasn’t in particularly bad shape, but there was some kind of damage to the rear bumper, as it had slight sag. The interior was a bit rough as well, but I suppose that’s not the point of this review. The key here is that the digital odometer read 63, xxx miles. I suppose I should backtrack a bit and say I had already done some Google and public database research on this guy and his companies, in which I saw a negative review on BBB that reads, «They hand out falsified Carfax’s and they rollback the odometer.» Ominous, but clearly not a deterrent. Having this in mind, though, I take a picture of the VIN, finish my test drive and thank Bobbie Sera for his time, telling him we’d be in touch. I come home, slap the VIN into Carfax and what do you know? The car has over 265,000 miles.
Stay well away from this guy and his shady South Florida business (es), unless you’re in the market for getting duped. Funny thing is, we chatted a bit after the test drive and he told me to be careful on Craigslist because there are a lot of scammers out there. True that. I’m in the process of filing a complaint with the NHTSA.
