The manager there mike g. Is a very professional person and real. nice to deal with, he expand what’s going on with my jeep and gave me multiple options. they fixed my jeep fast and very cheap. the dealer didn’t know what’s wrong with it, but Mike did. I highly recommend this store to anyone. go see Mike at this location he is the best.

I just had a challenging repair to be done on my car and when I say challenging, this is a 1960 car, so trust me if you do not know mechanic, you cannot deal with this, there is no computer to plug to tell you what to do and Joel and Michael(new person) did a wonderful job on my car! They were very thorough and let me know about future little things I need to do(perks of antique cars) without pressure or trying to sell me on it. Just a serious place letting you know what you need to do, which I greatly appreciate, it is not fun to be stranded in the middle of the road! So why I would highly recommend them to you 1/they know mechanic, 2/they are serious, 3/they do not rip you off, 4/they let you know without pressure of necessary work if applicable.

Hardest experience of my life. Let me start off by saying that in 2013 I got a brand new transmission from an AAMCO in Fort Myers, FL. On June 20, 2015 I took my car into the Lauderhill AAMCO at 6490 W Commercial blvd. I was expecting to have my transaxel fluid changed and be driving again in a matter of hours, possibly the next day. A day passed without a word, I called Mao, who was the manager of the AAMCO at the time, and he hadn’t even looked at my car yet. «Okay.» I thought, «they’re probably just really busy.» I had access to my boyfriend’s car that weekend since he was working nights, so it wasn’t a huge deal. A week later, Mao took a cruise, and still hadn’t even opened the hood of my car. At this point, my father got involved because I was afraid they were taking advantage of me, and he has been working on engines and transmissions since 1977. 2WEEKSLATERAAMCO finally got back to me after dodging my calls for days; they told me I needed a completely new transmission. Keep in mind, this transmission was only 2.5 years old, and just barely out of warranty(of course.) At this point, I dropped by the shop to get some items out of my car, not having had expected to be without it for so long. The mechanic lost my car keys, but I had a valet key that would let me in my drivers side door. Imagine my shock and awe when I opened up my car to find my back seat and trunk space filled with the organs of my car; they didn’t even put down a piece of plastic, leaving oil and dirt stains all over my fabric seats. After two and a half weeks, Mao was fired(thank God) and a gentleman named Mike was called to pick up the reigns as the manager. Mike was nice enough, he did his best to work with me and make up for all of the lost time and bulls**t that Mao put me through. I ended up having a transmission custom built by Dodge, which my father personally taxied to the AAMCO location. The Dodge transmission has a 100,000 mile warranty, and is a much better quality transmission that what AAMCO was going to put in my car. Mike had my car ready a week later, which, at this point was a MONTH to the day that I had dropped my car off with them. My entire car smells of oil and grease, my backseats were stained because they had carelessly put my battery, engine cover, and every other thing under my hood in the backseat, and I now have a lovely colony of ants living in my car. I had gotten a rental car for a week, been driven, dropped off, and picked up by my boyfriend and my best friend, and am very blessed to have them– someone without access to other vehicles would’ve been stuck with a $ 1,000+ rental bill. Mao told me to mention his name at Enterprise and I would get a really good discount on a rental; they tried to charge me $ 35 a day under Mao’s «discount» as opposed to renting an economy car for $ 11 a day. September 8th2015: I’ve been driving my car with 4 broken motor heads for more than a month. HOW. HOWDIDNOONENOTICETHIS or think to tell me! No excuses, this is absolutely the worst experience a car owner can image. infinite thumbs down.

First off don’t deal with Aamco they’re the worst! Mao is the guy that owns this shop and it’s the worst! Always saying the car will be ready and then makes excuses why it’s not ready! Doesn’t seem like they have any bit of care for customer service and everything is on their time. Also keeps saying different things are wrong with the vechile but doesn’t say anything till you show up expecting to pick up your car. Very shady and not good people to work with! Save money and go to ford! NEVERGETWORKDONEWITHTHISSHOP! Horrible!

It’s sign is overshadowed by the Tires Plus sign so you will miss it when you turn in. I know I did and it was right in front of me. Update: Not bad I guess, I got a free oil change and a pretty steep estimate in my eyes. I will keep looking but you never know, may end up taking my car back there. I love how their pricing sign says everything starts(money wise)
