Food Network followers may recognize Chef Claudio from his TV debut on Iron Chef America, when he and his culinary school friend, Chef Roberto Donna, staged an impressive comeback victory over Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto for the episode dedicated to calamari.
Chef Sandri has stayed true to his passion to prepare genuine Italian food by perfecting his demand for fresh ingredients. His close attention to timing, detail, and finishing with a contemporary Italian touch set him apart from any chef in Lauderdale-by-the-sea. He has more than 30 years experience cooking throughout Europe; including Italy, Belgium and Luxemburg, as well as Central and North America.
Pronto Café is a sister restaurant of Gran Forno Bakery, which thousands agree bakes the best bread in Florida (most high end restaurants and hotels in South Florida use our bread), our rotating wood fired oven makes incredible Al Forno dishes.

Business Owner
Bill partnered with famous restaurateur Leone to create Pronto Café by-the-sea in 2014. Bill is a well-rounded man professionally, having been a pilot instructor, chiropractor, and restaurant owner. He is dedicated to providing a relaxing dining experience with exceptional customer service (a rarity in South Florida) along with outstanding Italian cuisine. In leisure, Bill enjoys spending time with Emily, his Australian Shepherds, and instructing others how to fly.
