What a really cool place to hang out and have some great beer! We stopped in on a Friday night. The fans were going, which kept the place cool, and there was an acoustic singer performing. Nice, casual, cool spot in Latrobe.

My first visit to a craft brewer outside of Florida and it did not disappoint. Located on a back road of sorts, within a unassuming building is this little gem of a brewer. With the tap room open to the brewing facility, and somewhat open air you find yourself in a large area with plenty of seating and indoor scenery. I was impressed with the overall selection, although saddened that they didn’t offer sixes to go. Maybe, I’m told by the bartender(who was chatty and personable) that in the near future they will be selling, giving me a reason to return.

The final stop on our Westmoreland brewery tour was Four Seasons. This was a great place to end our journey. It’s not the easiest place to find(we ended up driving through the Auto Zone parking lot) but I was with drinking pals who were familiar with where we were headed. Inside is a nice-sized open and welcoming taproom. There were several tables as well as seats at the bar, not far from where their beer is brewed. With a full list of brews of all different styles, we decided to each get our own flight and relax at one of the tables with some good beer and good conversation. I tried a flight of the Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout, Witbier, Kickin’ It Kolsch and an oatmeal stout on nitro called Dark Side of the Pint. The smooth oatmeal stout on nitro was my favorite. And I gotta say, that Russian Imperial Stout packs a punch. They offer some small bites at the bar(we got chips and salsa and a cheese plate) and I noticed signs advertising bands and food trucks. I’ll definitely stop by next time I’m in Latrobe. Just be warned, they have typical microbrewery hours meaning they are closed on Mondays and are not open as late as bars.

I really enjoyed this place. Captures the whole spirit of a micro-brew, a functioning«very local» brewery in its best industrial simplicity. 12 brews on tap, making the flights a fun way to go. Not a place for night owls though: they close early. Check for hours in advance. Also offering locally wines and mead. Perfect light good pairings: chips/salsa; cheese tray; Brats, pretzels. Worth my stop.

OK. I’ve been here two hours now and I have to say, I am impressed! The beers I’ve tried are great… the oatmeal stout is on nitro(very nice) and the«Get Down Brown» is clean & smooth. For me, the clear winner is the Russian Imperial Stout… OMG, one of the best! If you’re into the IPAs(not my style) try the«Bang-Bang». The others on the group say it’s very good. Not much in the food department — mostly bar apps(pretzels, brats and a decent cheese platter). Plan on eating b/4 or after — not here. Emily, the bartender is friendly & knowledgeable. If you’re out to try a few beers(or a flight!), not a bad place to spend a couple of hours.

Really nice folks at this establishment. Great atmosphere, clean building, and easy to find. The exterior of the building could use something to make it more inviting. Its a little confusing where to enter when you get there. Every door looks like a side exit door. The area is lucky to have a place like this. The beer is good. The average beer drinker will find Four Season brews to be a nice transition from mass produced beer to microbrews. Great place to bring friends and family whether they are into microbrews or not. They serve soda as well.

Pub grand opening tonight. Live music. Awesome cheese and olive tray. Did not have a drink in my flight I did not enjoy. Their coffee ale is outstanding and not bitter. Atmosphere is a little rough and lack of seating, but they just opened.

This place is great! I was so excited to hear that a brewery with a tasting room/pub opened in good ol’ Latrobe. While in town for the week I stopped in with a friend. We got a flight of beers and a full size high hopes IPA. The IPA, along with a double IPA that we had as part of the flight, were my favorites– not ridiculously hoppy(though I do like ridiculously hoppy), very well balanced, very drinkable. Everything we tried was nice. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. The space is really comfortable and cozy with lots of wooden tables and plenty of bar seating, with the giant beer vats on display at the back of the room. It’s a really nice place to hang out and enjoy some microbrews with a good mix of people. I’m really happy that a place like this opened up in Latrobe. Great to finally have some beer variety! I hope this place does well, and suspect that it will.
