I told myself, «Don’t do it», as I drove down Southfield Rd… I begged, pleaded, cried, «No! Stop! PLEASE!!», as I pulled into a parking spot… my inner self screamed relentlessly as I pulled the door entering this Lane Bryant again… Walked in and just like before customers are completely ignored until they’re at the register. A staff walked right towards me, smiled and sang at me(she had been singing with the music for a while, loudly) but never actually said anything to me let alone ask if I needed help finding something! I did want to know if they had more bras in my size in the back but it had been 20min since I’d been in there IGNORED and unable to engage with anyone that I just wanted to pay and leave. Enough. This is the worst LB I’ve ever seen. I’m writing a letter to corporate about this location. They need training in customer service STAT. I promise I’ll never come here again. Just, no!

Walked in and wasn’t greeted. No bugs, maybe they were busy, but idk with what because I didn’t have a single person help me the entire time I was in the store(more than an hour). I walked around looking for bras, had trouble finding things, but couldn’t ask anyone for help because there was only one recognizable associate and she was at the register. 1. Nobody helps you find anything. Keep looking around the store accidentally find another associate who’s so busy putting clothing away and tidying racks that she’s oblivious to the customers wandering around who look like they could use some help. When I say accidentally, I asked my fiancé if he could help me find a skirt and she pointed it out as my fiancé was already walking toward me with it. 2. The associates don’t let you into a changing room or take the multitude of items you have to a room so you can keep shopping. I asked if my fiancé can come help me try stuff on. Her response, «Yeah, just don’t get anything on anything.» UHM… did she just give me permission to have coitus in the changing area as long as I don’t make a mess? DUALLYNOTED! 3. Nobody helps you look for sizes. I had to send my fiancé out 4 times to get different sizes. 4. They won’t call or check other stores for sizes they don’t have. I asked about a different size for the skirt and was told, «No nobody has those. You should have come in the week they came in.» UHM, WHAT?! I put everything back except for a bra, a belt and a jumpsuit and I’ll go back to a different LB today to buy all of the things I WOULDHAVE purchased here had this woman wanted to put in any form of effort. 5. Don’t bother asking for opinions. I walked out of the dressing room to ask if an outfit looked ok and for a wider belt to see if it would be better with it than the one that came with it. She looked at me like I’d just asked her to explain quantum physics to me in Aramaic, wandered over to the belts where I found one I liked and then started blabbering about how much she wanted to try on the outfit I was wearing. That’s fantastic lady, but UHM… I asked if it looked alright. Not if you wanted to buy it. 6. Don’t get too lippy with the associates! While I was checking out, the cashier was basically ignoring me while she takes to her coworker about how long it had been since the last time she was in JAIL. The one star is for the selection. It’s huge and they’re also one of two LB’s in the state that have a specific line that LB offers. I’ll come in to check things out and try things on… but I’m going elsewhere to purchase/order.

I LOVE this location! Customer service how it should be done. Julius is amazing and the ladies make shopping easy. It is in a strip on Sfld rd. next to Ashley Stewart. The dressing rooms are always clean and they even now have a couch for you to chill on(they have looong lines on the weekend) since they have remodeled the store. Definite stop for a plus size chick(size 14 and up). But make sure you have a gift cheque handy because Lane Bryant as a company is on the steep end. There career pants are close to $ 60, but they last FOREVER(or close to it). Check out the right fit jeans! They have 3 style to fit different body types. Also you can order online(I just spent $ 100 for $ 250 worth of merchandise). You can also find these types of sales in store. I like this one better than the one in Allen Park and it is really spacious(Lathrup Village). TIP: If you are looking for a cute short dress this is not the spot. They carry clothing that is cute but more of the career or casual nature. If you can afford to have them altered(take up) then it may be worth it. Otherwise, they are the spot for nice bras and panties.
