History

Established in 2001.

In 1992, Dr. Serafin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biodynamics with a minor in Psychology at CSU Sacramento before going on to Life Chiropractic College, West in Hayward, CA. In 1996 Dr. Serafin graduated from Life Chiropractic College, West with cum laude honors.

Dr. Serafin has spent his life involved in athletics from soccer to ultimate disc to triathelons. For several years the doctor had been in the health field as a personal trainer and fitness instructor.

In 1996 Dr. Jon Serafin joined his father in private practice in Pleasanton, CA where he still maintains service in that community.

In 2001, a second office was opened in Lathrop, CA. Dr. Serafin has been helping the communites of Lathrop, Manteca, French Camp, Ripon, Weston Ranch, Tracy, and Stockton in San Joaquin County and the Central Valley for over 7years now.

Today Dr. Jon Serafin uses his experience in fitness along with Chiropractic to serve and educate.

Dr. Serafin bases all of his treatment on you, keeping in mind current research and his 12+ years of experience. Your body’s joints are only healthy if they function at their optimum level. Joint function is measured by posture, positioning and range of motion. Diminished levels of function eventually lead to pain and/​or other symptoms. Along with Chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Serafin may customize a therapy regimen for you. This may include posture and home exercises, high speed, low force instrumentation, traction, electro-​therapy, inversion therapy, etc.

Dr. Serafin specializes not only in the best chiropractic care but also in attitude adjustments (pun intended) :) and let me tell you why I was very afraid to come in and start my process of regular adjustments due to chronic shoulder and neck pain but Dr. Serafin made me feel totally comfortable whenever there is an issue with my shoulder I can always call and never have a problem making an appointment that same day. He will always fit you in his schedule to make sure you have the proper care you need right away. You can’t teach for care these days but he’s got it for you and always genuine. Hands down the best chiropractor in town! I would recommend him anytime

I have been seeing the Doc at Lathrop Chiropractics for several years. He cares about you health and goes above and beyond to adjust a person. I have been to several chiropractors over a 15 year period and kept changing up Chiropractor because they couldn’t adjust me where I could feel any different. When I leave the Doc’s office I always feel that my body has rejuvenated after an adjustment. The Doc is very knowledgeable in no how to help you manage you pain after you leave there. We need more people like the Doc who cares and ensures your adjustment is what you expected it to be.

A little while back I fell on my shoulder and was in a ridiculous amount of pain. My dad has been seeing Dr. Serafin for years and my sister used to work for him. They both suggested I see him. I saw him 3 times and after every visit I could move my shoulder a little more and it actually started to feel better. He explained to me that I would still have some pain and it would be a while before it completely heald. Today I am good as new and feel great. Thankyou so so much to Dr. Serafin for working wonders. If you ever need a chiropractor Dr. Serafin is the best in town!

We will verify if you have an attorney and have them sign any liens for auto accident cases before treating anyone. We tell all new clients this regarding personal injury cases. This helps us avoid swindlers and scam artists. If you have med-​pay an attorney might not be necessary. We are very versed in handling these type of cases and have great relationships with the attorneys in the area.
By the way, besides offering Chiropractic care for car accidents, other injuries and wellness care. I do DOT exams for truck drivers and bus drivers. I am a National Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME). I also do Sport Physicals for youth and high schools in the area. I am also certified to do drug and alcohol testing. Dr. Serafin has seen my husband for years for his chiropractic needs. He has seen my children for all of their sports physicals also. As of lately he has spent many appointments working on my son’s planterfatitias. He is an amazing doctor. He has gone out of his way on several occasions either by squeezing us in for an appointment or staying late. He has taken care of us as walk in appointments without any notice. He is so supportive of all local youth sports. He is professional proficient knowledgeable and personable. A number of years ago I was in a horrific car accident which put me in the hospital. I have had a lot of neck and back issues, and with previous chiropractic care I have received. My back and neck problems were never resolved.
When I started going to Lathrop Chiropractic. I noticed a huge difference not only in the quality of care but also my mobility. The pain in my neck and back is completely eliminated. Im able to exercise more and do my normal daily routines, prior to my car accident.
I have never had any problems with Jon. I have always saw Jon as a very professional oriented person. Who treats his patients very well.

Dr. Serafin (Jon) is very caring, friendly and does his best to help patients feel better. He makes himself available to his patients even when they do not have an appointment. When I was rear-​ended earlier this year, I called him to ask advice on how to make recovery quicker, he said to come in right away and met me at his office to be adjusted me before the full affects of the accident hit me like a brick (he was closed at the time and made a special trip).
I have been to a few chiropractors and always feel worse after the adjustment due to the sheer amount of force most doctors use, I do not have that issue when Jon adjusts me, I simply feel relief.
Do not believe the negative comment from Zack, I have never waited more than 15 – 20 minutes to be seen, even when I do not have an appointment! The doctor goes out of his way for his patients and makes lasting relationships with each on of them (I have been his patient for over 8 years).

Dr. Serafin is the best chiropractor in town. I have been going to Lathrop Chiropractic for a few years now. When ever I need to get in for a visit on short notice he always makes sure to fit me in. I’ve even had emergency situations where I have thrown out my back and he has opened up the office to get me adjusted and on my way.
I have tried other chiropractors in the past and they just don’t compare!

My goodness, I called ahead to make sure that John who is the chiropractor would be able to see me today as my neck was killing me.
I get there, fill out a ton of paperwork, and wait for 30+ minutes as he sits in the back playing on his computer with not another patient in sight. Come to find out he’s making me wait because he’s waiting for a phone call from my attorney. I call my attorney and he says the attorney must call him on his phone. I ask him why he can’t speak with him now being I’ve been waiting so long and he sneers at me and tells me to «F’OFF!» Yes he actually used profanity with a patient, as promised I told him I would post a review on Unilocal.
Very unprofessional place, they do drug tests here, probably because he needs to make money from other ways other than chiropractic.
