The first time I went to see Dr. Wong I had to wait an hour and half. Then when I met him for the first time all he did was scared me regarding my thyroid and asked me if I was interested in having children when I said yes. He right away told me I would have a miscarriage. Now keep in mind he hasn’t done any blood tests or physical checkup. Just assumed that I will have miscarriages. I still decided to give him a second chance and once again I had to wait for a hour before I got to see him and this time he had my blood test results. He walks into the room hands me my prescription for 3 months and says take this and let’s see you in 3 months. Then he says to make an appointment and walks out. I was so confused as he never explained anything to me and looked like he didn’t care to be there. The second visit I only saw him for 5 mins and he walked out. Please save your time and go see another Endo as this one is too busy or doesn’t care.

Love Dr. Wong but he’s never on time! His staff is great. Very friendly. If you ask them, they will tell you honestly how far behind he is and if you need to reschedule, they won’t hassle you about it. Heck. if you ask«is he running on time today»… pretty much the whole staff and waiting room will chuckle.

I went to see Dr. Wong because Thyroid issues run in my family. My appointment was at 10:00 am and I was checked in, filled out paperwork, and was back with the doctor within 15 minutes. He was very knowledgable. He asked me a multitude of questions regarding my symptoms, and explained to me different thyroid functions and thyroid diseases. I’ll be returning for blood work results and looking forward to it.

If I could give a half star, that would be more accurate. I have been seeing Dr. Wong for over 5 years. At first he was amazing, and very knowledgeable. He had been recommended because of all of his research he had done in the field. I came to him after being diagnoised with hypothyroidism and he had it set to the right dosage of medication almost immediately and told me I needed to stay with the brand name only because for generic perscriptions the dosage can change slightly as they change. Well starting two years ago his service was horrible. He spends 1 – 2 minutes with me for each visit(this is certainly not an exageration). He just comes in and tells me that my medicene is doing well for my thyroid and everything looks good, he’ll see me in 6 months. Problem here is I will have questions and he does not answer them. He is in SUCH a hurry to get out and get to the next patient that he cannot answer questions regarding my thyroid. It’s been difficult to get proper information with a Dr that suddenly doesn’t care and is just filing his patients through like cattle so he can make his money and probably get back to research. My last visit, I had a 7:30AM appointment, I was the only patient in the waiting room. It took 45 minutes to be called back to see him and when I did go back he spent 1 minute with me. I haven’t swithced Dr’s yet because I know my insurance is soon to change, so I’ve been waiting for that. Today I received an email from my pharmacy stating that my perscription has been recalled so they cannot refill my thyroid medicene(its set to auto refill and I have two days left of pills). I called the pharmacy and they said they faxed Dr Wong over a week ago with the information that he needs to switch my setting from«brand name only» to «generic ok» or else they cannot give me a different medicene. He never responded to them and today is Friday, his office is closed. So I will be running out of my medicene because he is too busy to respond to a fax regarding his patients health. If you’re a patient with a thyroid issue and you’ve missed pills for a couple of days you know the side effects are not fun at all. It can mess with you for weeks. Dr Wong clearly needs to step out of his office, shut it down, and go be in a research lab where he doesn’t interact with patients. He does not care.
