Backed by a live Big Band orchestra, the most beautiful showgirls in Sin City and the best singers and dancers in town, this is as close to Las Vegas’ past as you can get!

History

Established in 2010.

VEGAS! THE SHOW was created by Las Vegas native and famed producer David Saxe. After running the V Theater and V-​The Ultimate variety Show for nearly 6 years David decided it was time to put his dream show together. After months of work, gathering personell and good old practice, VEGAS! the Show was born. Opening alongside the then brand new Saxe Theater, VEGAS! THE SHOW has remained the only show in Vegas about Vegas and a local favorite. Featuring the musical styles of musical director Jerry Lopez and his band, the famous lounge group Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns! Also featuring choreography from Tiger Martina and an elite cast of Vegas’ best talent, VEGAS! THE SHOW is the best Vegas tribute on The Strip.

Business Owner

David Saxe is a Las Vegas native and takes credit as one of the youngest producers in Vegas history. At the age of 17 David helped put together his first show which was none other than Melinda The First Lady of Magic, Las Vegas’ first major female magician and performing superstar in her own right. When Melinda’s show came to an end, David sought to make a new name for himself by purchasing the Steve Wyrick Theater inside the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Upon changing the name to V theater David also acquired The Ultimate Variety Show and promptly put it in its new home where it has been wowing and inspiring audiences ever since. In 2010 David took the next step and opened the most technologically advanced theater in Vegas, Saxe Theater! While also creating his own brand new show to anchor the theater, VEGAS! THE SHOW has been David’s core production ever since.

This show was much better than expected. We are thoroughly surprised that the Saxe Theatre put out such a splendid production. We got the tickets on Living Social so it was very affordable. We feel we got our monies worth. The midget act was phenomenal… it had me in stitches.

This show is surprisingly good!
The singers are remarkable. I liked that they kept every segment short.
In representing Elvis, Sonny and Cher, Dean Martin, etc. it was not done as impersonators, but excellent singers, singing one or two of their songs.
The dancers were outstanding and kept things fun.
The side acts were as good as the show!
The Quiddlers are sooo funny and so clever! We laughed from the moment they came on stage!
As a native of Las Vegas whose seen it all over the years, including Sinatra, this is an excellent show!

Yikes… save your money or go see a different show.
The theater was very small. If you are deciding between the first few front rows and the ones toward the middle, choose the middle. The theater is so small that there is barely a difference. I sat in the very back corner and had a great view of the stage – that’s how small the theater is.
The show is Vegas throughout the decades. You might be able to relate/​understand the show if you have lived through most of the decades. If not, you will be totally lost.
The show was incredibly boring – nothing spectacular to be honest. No special effects, the dancing was alright, it was just an «mehh» type of show. The whole time I was waiting for the show to be over.
Bottom line: would definitely not recommend unless the show was $ 20-​$ 40 which it isn’t.

Perfect show to take my older parents who were nostalgic about the good ol’ days! This show captures the song and dance of the 1940s through the 1970s. All the dancers are VERY talented and the singers had fantastic voices! Costumes were eye-​catching and there was pretty much a little bit of everything — impersonations, comedy, acrobatics, dance, song, showgirl costumes, and more. I liked the historical element at the end of the show too, where they showed all the old hotels from back in the day during the penultimate song. It plays at the Saxe Theater, which is really MUCH more roomier and comfortable than V theater in my opinion. Use the Unilocal deal and get 50% off. I think I ended up paying just around $ 52 per ticket which is really a steal in Vegas for a 1.5 hour quality show. My parents were plenty entertained and walked away reminiscing a lot about their past visits to old Vegas!

The way the story depicts Old Las Vegas couldn’t have been any better. The singers were absolutely amazing! I can’t remember each name individually but the lead singer that performed the Tina Turner number brought the house down! I did remember the lead dancer Michelle! She’ll immediately catch your eye during the «Lady Luck» number with her amazing leg extensions.
The show was absolutely fabulous. I was presently surprised and I would definitely see it again.
I must all give credit to the band that was on point the entire evening and the beautiful dancers.

Loved this show. Old VEGAS returns! Dean, Frank and Sammy are represented. These folks can sign & dance. There is a very entertaining bird act as well as a gentleman who can really Hula Hoop. A very clean show, no swearing. Fun for the whole family.

I loved it! My husband loves it and my friends loved it!!! I cried laughed at the little Village people part of the show!!! Amazing singing and of course the Hoola hoop guy was superb! Singing and dancing was amazing! The whole shabang ! Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know.

I was a bit skeptical seeing this show as the ads look a little tacky. I’m not a fan of wack job ads that try to sell you cheap show tickets. But let me just say, their tickets are not cheap either. Aside from the price, and their ads, I really do believe that this show is a gem of all the shows in Vegas.
This show is held at the Saxe Theater which is located in the Miracle Mile Shops. It’s a bit of a stroll, but when you see this show, that walk is definitely going to be worthwhile. Here you have people sing songs by the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Sunny and Cher, Beatles, and so much more artists that made Vegas an huge entertainment city. Then you have the loveliest showgirls who are just full of energy to the point that they keep you wanting to watch more of the show!
The cast is amazing as everyone is just so talented. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m not a fan of shows that involves singing and dancing, but this particular show has made the exception to that rule. I truly appreciate this show as it was well executed, and well thought of. It goes from the old Vegas to the Vegas now, and at the end, it pays tribute to the old hotels that once stood at the Vegas strip. It’s bittersweet and very moving.
You can’t get any show around Vegas that talks about Vegas. This is as authentic you’ll get to anything like it. Skip Jubilee, and watch this show instead. It’s an hour and half long with a structured plot line unlike the latter, which makes you want to leave as two hours is way too long of a show. Seriously, you got to see this. It’s amazing.
Also, when you see this show, sit at the VIP section as the theater is awkwardly built. GA sits at the back side half of the theater which is just so awkward to be in specially when you’ve just purchased tickets. If you’re going to drop so much money on a show, you might as well go for the best seats in the house.

This show was fantastic. We were originally planning on seeing The Beatles tribute but discovered that they had the month of August off. Vegas! The Show was recommended and we were not disappointed. I loved the timeline of Vegas and the history etc. The dancers, singers and performers were fantastic. The costumes were also fantastic. We absolutely loved it. It was so wonderful we would see it again. Thank you so much for such a great show and experience

This show stays true to its title! The audience is walked through the history of Las Vegas and it is ASTOUNDING! The featured singers were amazing and did a great job of reenacting the Greats like Sinatra, the entire Ratpack, Elvis, Tina Turner and More! Aside from all this grandeur, there are wonderfully entertaining side shows that keep you enthralled.

My husband and I went to this show and Rock of Ages on our recent trip to Las Vegas. We loved Rock of Ages, but Vegas! The Show knocked our socks off!
The music (band and singers) is spot on and the cast is gorgeous. The show (storyline /​transitions) flows perfectly and flies by. Even the acts they have in between singing numbers /​eras are amazing (hula hoop guy, hand balancers, etc). This show has a lot of heart.
I would definitely recommend this show to anyone 12 years old and up.
Step outside the Cirque du Soleil box people! There are a lot of great «smaller» shows that Vegas has to offer which are not only way cheaper, but way less pretentious as well.

Just saw this and couldn’t wait for it to end. It was like a bad musical without any jaw-​dropping moments. When I’m in Vegas I like to see shows with stunts and acrobatics like Absinthe or Cirque, so this was a let down. The show is mostly singing and dancing. You won’t see anyone hanging from the ceiling or contorting their body. If you like show tunes or want to feel nostalgic about old timey Vegas you might enjoy this, but don’t expect a spectacle. Would have given it one star but I will say that the talent all had fantastic bodies so props to them for that!!! Inspiration to get my butt in the gym.
One suggestion to the writers. If you’re doing the history of Vegas why not take it to modern times and do a club scene? That would make it feel a little more fresh.
Shoutout to the hoola hoop girl– the other star is for you.

I was blown away by this one! I was very pleasantly surprised, even though I had heard this show was good. It was more than good, it was incredible. Im on the younger side for the crowd that was there, but I knew almost every song, and it was as if they gave each a new life. The dancers looked like they were actually enjoying themselves and weren’t faking smiles or expression. Everyone looked so sincere.
The singers were incredible. I cant believe they do this live twice a night! Great voices, and they all sounded great together. I had chills! Favorites were Midnight Train to Georgia, Rocketman, and the Elvis section.
The dancers were not only beautiful, but fun and lively. Not one person looked like they had to fake it, they all genuinely played each part. Very cool to see a cast that enjoys what they do. They wore beautiful costumes and were so colorful and fun!
They have a meet and greet after the show so you can get the cast to sign tickets or merch. I highly recommend buying the CD so you can keep a little piece of the show for yourself. I feel like its going to be on regular play in my car from now on!
Advice: make sure to get there early and grab a cocktail before the show. The bar downstairs has a fun vibe and then you can relax before you head in for the show. We got VIP and our seats were excellent. We were towards the back but had perfect views of the whole stage.
Will definitely be back and cant WAIT to see Zombie Burlesque (same producer!).

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Not a portion of the show that dragged, or a weak link in the casting. Loved the comedian juggler, the hula hoop routine, the lead singers, and the lead dancer — holy crap she lit up the stage! The live on-​stage band was excellent and truly added a wow-​factor that could never have been replicated by a recorded backtrack.
I want to go back and take my friends.

Saw this show last November. I had VIP seating in the 3rd row from the stage, worth the upgrade! Amazing singers and talented performers telling the history of LV entertainment. Pretty and talented performers as show girls, great live orchestra and amazing singers, funny and high energy magic between acts.
It is not your Cirque du Soleil but def a top notch and outstanding one.
