Vegas Stripper University

Look soooo interesting! Looks & sounds like a place to get & NJOY some fitness. But the next stop I should go on in & actually join so i can give a much better & detailed review. LOL Smooches

I visited strippers university in mid march me and my sister found a really great deal on groupon. Overall we had an awesome time, I would definitely go again! I would have given them 5 stars but they were very unorganized, after the instructor started she had to repeatedly leave the room to answer the phone bcuz someone was late, besides that we had a great time she taught us a step-​by-​step routine and we put it all together at the end, the second half she taught us a lap dance session. We made crazy names mine was Doggynatrix and my sisters was penny-​tration haha.

Great GNO! Our instructor was amazing! Funny, beautiful and TALENTED! The room is large with a beautiful dark wood floor. After a warm up, we went through each step of the pole routine. I have a new respect for the profession! Our group was a all levels of fitness (me, at the bottom!) and we all had a fabulous, fun time!

I’m not sure if we laughed more before, during, or after this class but it was definitely worth the time and money. It was a good workout and a good 90 minutes well-​spent with some great girlfriends. Coming up with a stripper name took me about 20 minutes, so I suggest going prepared with one.

I recommend for going with your friends for some laughs and a good workout (if you have no arm strength, that is). The class was nice because it was in a dance studio and you could see yourself attempt to do the moves. We were taught how to work the pole and do several of those stripper moves like «the fireman». There was also a little bit on lap dancing.
The teachers seem to have dance backgrounds, so of course they are more graceful and knowledgeable than the rest of us.
Overall, a good time!

The instructor was very talented, however was bad at teaching. It seems like the class was not structured, there was no lesson or plans, she just showed a couple of moves and let us practice. A very quick routine and thats it.
I think it is tacky to ask for tips at the end… What gym class asks for a workout. Regardless the girlfriends and I had fun and I can take home some air grinding moves to show the bf.

A couple of my girlfriends and I found a Groupon for Stripper University and thought that it would be fun to try out (not to mention our husbands/​boyfriends were happy to let us spend the money to try it out too). Yes it was fun, but man what a workout. As others have said, I have a new found respect for those who have mastered the art of pole dancing. We had fun picking out our «Stripper Names,» got a great workout from swinging on the pole (at least attempting to), laughed as we got to know each other on a more intimate levels, and found the sexiness within ourselves. I can honestly say that when we put our little routines together I felt sexy and confident. I would definitely recommend Stripper University. My girlfriends and I have even discussed going back to the class a couple of more times to get better and more advanced in our pole dancing.

STANDING AROUND ISN’T MY IDEA OF A WORKOUT
When I first called to schedule they answered the phone like it was a residence, not a business, for example, «Hello?»
I was wondering if I had dialed the wrong the number at first, most places answer the phone saying the name of the establishment.
I took the beginning pole fitness class. We learned a very brief routine, and a couple turns. The instructor basically stood around the for about 30 minutes talking about how she does bachelorette parties and didn’t know what to do with us. We all kept making suggestions so we could get some type of workout, but she wasn’t listening. A nice girl, but not so much an instructor. We wanted to workout, not stand around talking about what we could be doing. After I left, I was disappointed, not to mention annoyed that I had paid my hard earned money to stand around. Needless to say, I went to the gym after and got a real workout.

WHY CALL IT POLE FITNESS?
I took the beginner pole class and had no idea what to expect. Our instructor taught mostly bachelorette parties, so the class was just learning some basic moves and spins and a short routine. I DIDN’T EVEN BREAK A SWEAT! I was hoping for more of a structured workout using the pole to focus on building strength (similar to a ballet barre class). I think the others in the class were equally as disappointed because we were just standing around at the end wondering what to do???
This could be a really good workout class if only the instructor could figure out how to teach, get creative! I’m super bummed because I was hoping for a fun new workout. I would not pay $ 25 per class for that.
I did walk away with a new appreciation for pole dancers, it is not as easy as it looks and you need to be strong in your core, wrists, and arms!

I highly recommend going here with your girlfriends! Thanks to Groupon we took the class over the weekend and we had such an awesome time. The name is pretty tacky, but the class definitely isn’t.
The staff recommend that you wear heels, but the instructor told us to not wear heels if we’re not comfortable. Of course, we all took our shoes off and I’m so glad we did because I would have definitely hurt something. Our instructor, Dragon (sorry, I can’t remember your real name!) is amazing. She’s goofy and super friendly. She dances at night so she knows what she’s talking about. She’s only been teaching for a few months, but we felt like she’s been teaching her entire life.
We all had to choose stripper names and Dragon is so good at helping you with that. Don’t be lame and choose something like «Candy» or «Mindy.» Be creative! Mine ended up being «Make You Scream My Name» but my friends’ names are too inappropriate to post in public. I might get this reviewed flagged! If you leave your camera on the sofa, the staff will come in and take pictures for you. So awesome.
At the end of class, you get a diploma. I can’t remember exactly what it says but something to the extent of receiving a bachelors in stripperology. LOL. If you want to do something fun and different with your friends, I recommend coming here. A little bit of fitness and a ton of fun.
