Dog socialization through daycare and boarding. We are expert at reading dog’s body language, handling in a positive, quiet manner to reinforce good manners and creating a well balanced, content, and highly social pack. All new guests are screened for good behavior prior to joining the pack. Health records must be up to date; clear fecal test required.

Facility is half acre in NW part of valley; grass yard, doggy door access inside the house. K9 Resort setting. Optional hikes in the mountains, GPS tracking collars, kennel free.

Established in 2010.

Most dog daycare practices are frustrating for Melanie: poor handling, under-​staffed, little handler training, and overcrowded facilities. Too many dogs are bullied, cowering in a corner, not taught to be social, and in some cases, having to potty inside a building. What have they learned throughout the day?

Think outside the crate! Create a highly social pack who is positive role models for pups and new client dogs. Teach house manners, EXERCISE bodies and minds, have fun, have boundaries that create confident dogs. Build respect with owners, handlers and pack mates. A tired dog is a happy dog.

Business Owner

Grew up on a ranch in Washington state, Labrador dogs, mutts, and horses were her nannies; teaching animal body language, and behaviors; responsibility, animal husbandry, loyalty and the value of hard work.

After retiring from marketing career. it is time to pursue a passion for: training Companion dogs

(not to be confused with working, protection, sport, obedience)

but simply well behaved house dogs which most people own. A polite, confident, pal who can accompany owners confidently and be a good citizen.
