So when I went here it was my very first time ever being in an Ulta store. I have heard about it from many family and friends but I have always been more of a Sephora type person. I did have something on my list this time and it was a beauty blender for a gift. I realized this store doesn’t care that brand but they have a similar type. I couldn’t locate them so I asked a girl for help. She said that their brand really wouldn’t do what I was looking for it to do… Because it was no where close to a beauty blender and that I was really better off using brushes :/I told her it was a gift for someone and I didn’t want to get her brushes because she asked for sponge type applicator … The girl continued to tell me about how they were bad but told me where to find the sponges. While in this store I wasn’t greeted when I went in, and I was never asked if I needed help, I needed to go to someone after walking around the store and ask where to find the product I was looking for. There bags are pretty simple as well. I love how Sephora gives u a gift bag, after all in stores like this where the usual minimum is $ 30 it’s nice to feel like u treated someone or treated ur self. Check out was an ok experience at least the person was friendly. I smelled some perfume on my way out that was wonderful. And the next day my husband bought me the perfume from this store which came with a very nice tote as well.

Got my hair done and my lip waxed. Was sad I couldn’t get what I wanted done with my hair, but the hair stylist was nice and went beyond what she was able to do. Got home and still had a ton of grey in my hair and it looks like I have roots and I got my hair done a week ago. I got my lip waxed and literally part of my lip was taken off. I have been getting my lip waxed for over 10 years and never had such a sore before. I have been having to put ointment on it everyday and it looks horrible. I definitely will not be going back and can’t wait to find someone else to fix my hair.

Probably the worst ulta in Vegas. Every time I come here the employees follow me around like I’m going to steal makeup. They don’t even ask if I need help or anything, they just follow me around the entire time. Then if they do have the products I want the employees look at me like I cant afford it and still give me weird looks as I’m paying for the products. I obviously wouldn’t shop here if I couldn’t afford the high end makeup I need to buy. I have no choice but to come to this ulta due to it being be closest to my house. I try to come here as little as possible.

This is Neli’s happy place. I come here at least once a month and I always spend way too much . Ladies, let me just say that if you want long dramatic lashes, Better than sex mascara is the best. You must be patient when you put it on though because if not then it will clump and instead of fanned out dramatic lashes you’ll end up with two giant lashes. They recently came out with the waterproof version and I HADTOHAVEIT. So it does take a while to dry but once it does, it’s really on there. After 3 days of trying to take it off I went into Ulta desperate and the young lady said, «oh they sell a remover, you put it on top and it comes right off.» So not only do you have to buy the mascara which is $ 23 but you also have to buy the $ 17 remover … SMARTBASTARDS! I came in looking for 1 thing that was $ 17 and walked out with $ 150 worth of stuff. And by stuff I mean 4 little things ok. ULTA is expensive. The staff is always very friendly and sometimes on the weekends and holidays the lines are absolutely ridiculous. So avoid weekends and holidays at all cost.

First of all, Get new cashiers and new store managers HORRIBLE customer service from both. Second, I’ll not be going to this location ever again.

As is typical with Ulta, you’re paying a bit of a premium for the products for the convenience of being able to get it at a physical store vs online. It’s a little pricey but competitive vs other specialty stores. The business end of Ulta is a break-even for me. The service end is another story. Two visits ago to this location I bought a box dye, the last one of my preferred color, and the box itself had obviously been opened and taped back up again, and was pretty beat up. At the counter I showed the clerk and asked if I could open it to see if everything was in there. She picked it up, turned it around and said«It’s fine», and when I showed her where it was beat up she continued to say it was fine, and shoved it into a bag without letting me look at it again. As it turned out, the color was not the color it should have been. Only one shade different so it wasn’t the end of the world, but still very annoying, and I *KNEW* something was up with the box. Ulta shouldn’t have screwed up products on the shelf, and their employee should have listened to me instead of being rude. The most recent visit, I needed a hair product immediately so I went on over. It was reasonably busy but most sales associates were wandering around. Every makeup person I’ve encountered is great, BUT I needed a hair thing. I looked around in the hair product area and no one asked if I needed anything — which is kind of a ‘whatever’, maybe I looked like I had a purpose and wasn’t worth pestering, but when I actively ASKEDFORHELP not once but TWICE to two different ladies back there(who were not occupied when I approached) they IGNOREDME. One women immediately turned around and went back into the styling area to sit in a chair and talk to a co-worker who was doing someone’s hair, and the second woman I approached and said«Excuse me» to glanced at me but kept walking straight into the back room. ??? I swear to god I don’t smell bad, I was dressed properly, hair styled, makeup on. Did not have a severed head with me. Not sure I’ll be back to this location, despite it being the closest to me. Yikes.

I am a makeup junkie and frequent Ulta and Sephora. This has by far been the WORST Ulta experience I’ve ever had. First, I’m not welcomed as I walk in. No big deal, I know exactly what I’m heading for as I have a mission. Once I’m at the Anastasia of Beverly Hills area, he same lady asked me FOUR times is I was OK. Not, don’t you love the new colors, or, yeah we just got those in… No only if I was OK and then stood there awkwardly each time. Needless to say, I out the products away that I was hoping to purchase and went to another area. I’m in the mood to buy a new skin care regimen. Again, a new lady came up to us three times asking us if we were OK and then walked away. Then, the lady from the first encounter came by twice to ask if I needed a shopping bag. Again, I put my products down and walked out of the store. My wife never makeup shops with me and I feel bad she had to be there for this too. She was getting nervous and extremely irritated my the customer service and so was I ! I will never go back to this location!

I am totally annoyed I specifically asked the sales person if the product I was buying was cruelty free and she told me it was. When I got home as I was opening the product I did not see any cruelty designations on the packaging so after it was opened I checked online. Well guess what it is not cruelty free… I now have opened $ 85.00 worth of products because she lied rather than state she did not know. It’s not like I would have walked out with nothing in hand I just would have chosen a different cruelty free product. I will no longer shop at that location. Lesson to sales people don’t lie to the customer unless you want to loose them as a customer!

First off, if I could I would give the salon negative 10 stars. I came in to get a trim on my very long hair. My hair was down the middle of the my back. When I left my hair was above my shoulders. NOT what I wanted at all. It is also shorter on one side than the other. I’m am so upset with how my hair turned out. Jamison does not know what she is doing. The only positive from this is I received a refund and the manager was very nice. But do yourself a favor and do not visit Jamison at this salon. Worst haircut of my entire life.

This might sound cheesy, but this Ulta location truly is as good as it gets. We drove out to the Rainbow location around 7pm on a Thursday night with hopes that it wouldn’t be too busy after work. I’m not sure if this is a new location or what, but it is GORGEOUS! It’s bright, with brilliant white backlighting and HUGE. Probably the best organized location, it was easy to find exactly what I was there for — my husband even shopped around a bit. I will drive across the valley to visit this location again. …hopefully they’ll bring one to North Vegas soon, and it will be modeled after this one.

If you need Dior Addict this is one of the few places that still has it. Also a sizable makeup selection, and hair and face products. It is all laid out in a way that is easy to find everything, never a giant line. Parking is a breeze, and it’s clean inside and out. Worth a trip if you aren’t trying to buy Animal Testing Free, if you are research before going in!

I desperately needed a hair cut and live fairly close so I booked an appointment for the following day. My bangs were in serious need of a trim and as Liz parted my hair down the middle I thought ‘this chick has no idea what she’s doing didn’t she notice I do a deep part on the far right?’ BOYWAS I WRONG! Liz did a fantastic job and I have never been happier with my bangs… they are just the right length with just the right amount of ‘swoopiness’(it’s a word… I just made it up). Liz was a great conversationalist and a great stylist. I will definitely go back!

Terrible terrible customer service!!! I work at a well known cosmetics brand so I know exactly what good customer service is and you cannot find that here. The staff is standoffish and doesn’t seem willing to help. I was looking for a luminous foundation and I usually use YSL so price is nothing to me. The girl helping me asked what skin type I had and I answered that it was dry. She replied«really? You look so oily.» My mouth dropped I was infuriated! There’s ways to go about saying things and that totally was not it. If I could give them a zero I would! Don’t waste your time or money. Order online or from a different company.

It was a convenient shop for me because all my maintenance needs are in one place– skin, hair, makeup. with a nice variety of brands and products and without having to drive to the strip(does anyone recommend a good beauty shop as big as ulta on the Westside?). …that staff though– I had visited a couple times before and i quickly learned to do my research before hand because speaking with someone is hit or miss. They may be helpful, or they may be wishing they were anywhere else but there. You’ll know right away by their attitude.

I stopped by Ulta to look at a few specific things. I was happy to find everything I was looking for and at reasonable prices. Inside was clean and they had a nice selection of many brands of make up, irons, blow dryers, hair care products and other goodies as well a small salon in the back left of the store. I enjoyed taking my time looking through the different isles and a couple of employees stopped to ask if I was finding everything ok. The line was a bit long, but thankfully it moved quickly. They have a rewards program where you get so many points for every dollar you spend and you then earn money back to use on future purchases. They were offering double points when I made this last purchase, nice! Just make sure and look at your receipt to see when certain points and other rewards expire because you have to use some of them within a certain amount of time. Check the ad online or sign up for e-mails to see what promotions are currently going on.

TERRIBLESERVICE, PLEASEREAD!!! I would rate it a zero if I could. My boyfriend & I came here for some essentials I ran out of because I love to get dolled up & had the day off. I’ve been in there dozens of times, but I’m normally alone & most always«made up», but I had the day for the first time in 3 weeks and wanted to wear sweats. When we first came in associates were kind, but stand off-ish. I like to take my time when shopping so we spent a fair amount of time in there. Multiple times the same 4 employees(including a manager) «suggested» I get help from their employees & tried ushering me over towards more populated & open parts of the store. I’ve worked retail 5 years of my life I know when people are trying to use redirecting tactic to prevent consumers from stealing. Most times they didn’t even say anything. They would just follow us around looking over our shoulders listening to what we were talking about. THEENTIRETIME! The finally straw was at the counter the cashier was attempting to be kind(with that same manager looking over her shoulder). As we were finishing up the transaction the manager walked from behind the counter & walked behind us. I happened to be looking in the direction & saw her look down into my purse(open because I took my wallet out) to investigate, curious to see if I’d stolen something. I was so offended that after taking the few products I really needed out of the bag I turned right back around to return the extra novelty items. I didn’t want to give them anymore money than necessary. The girl at the counter went through the routine, «is there anything wrong with the product.» & I simply left it at «no.» I saw the same manager circling behind me & then she walked behind the counter stared at me with a very unprofessional attitude & said, «.but you JUST bought it.» As if I weren’t there for the transaction. I replied, «I know» and stared right back. We finished the transaction and I left that store for the last time. I will not spend another dime there.

Go to Sephora instead, they will respect your time and patronage there. Lines of 20+ people in the middle of a weekday and 2 people running the registers with no clue what they are doing. The employees on the floor are uninformed about products, and lied to me that a product had been discontinued just because they didn’t have it on their display and she didn’t want to find it in stock.
