Description

Specialties

We offer classes in the art of flying trapeze for men, women and children (6 years and up). We also offer event hosting. No athletic ability is necessary, just an adventurous spirit and willingness to learn. We accommodate experienced flyers as well. Expertly taught by a staff of ex-performers, our classes are fun and rewarding. Your safety is our priority!

The Studio is a training and learning facility for all circus arts. No previous training required to enjoy this cirque experience! Safe and fun for most everyone!

History

Established in 2012.

After talking about it for 15 years, partners Stephan & Lisa Cote and Eric Braun finally decided the time was right to start a trapeze school here in Las Vegas. The partners met on a show in the 1990’s when they were circus performers and have remained friends ever since. Stephan and Lisa, previous Club Med Circus instructors, each have 25 years experience in teaching beginners to fly on the trapeze. Flying trapeze is an excellent work-out — great for toning all the muscles of the body.

Sept. 2013 — The Studio at Trapeze Las Vegas opened its door! Aerial and circus classes for all are taught multiple times a week. Perfect for both locals and tourists who want to learn and experience acts like silk, trapeze, lyra, cercaux, trampwall, juggling, flexibility and pole. Group and private lessons 7 days a week. Great for parties and corporate events.

Nov. 2013 We moved the Flying Trapeze to The Sport Center on Sunset near Las Vegas Blvd.

Business Owner

Lisa Cote, along with her husband Stephan, and Eric Braun have created a family friendly, fun, safe place to play on a real high flying trapeze! All 3 owners are retired performers. Lisa, Stephan and other staff have over 100 years combined experience teaching beginners the art of flying trapeze. Eric is a first class rigger who keeps our equipment in shape. This activity is great for fitness, personal growth, birthday parties, group outings and team building. We are also a facility for local acrobats to train so you never know who you might run into up on the platform!
