The Stream emphasizes the teaching of the Bible. Our mission statement is «Transforming lives by the power of God’s Spirit, love, grace, and truth. We are a casual, caring, and Christ-​centered community of people.

History

Established in 2004.

Pastor Kevin Scott and his family moved to Las Vegas in 2002 and began the process of starting The Stream. After beginning as a small group Bible study of a few young families and several UNLV college students, in June 2004 the first public worship service was held at our current location — The Donald W. Reynolds Scouting Center at 7220 S. Paradise Rd.

Meet the Manager

Pastor Kevin S.

Manager

Kevin Scott has been in full-​time ministry since 1994. He is a graduate of Purdue University and has a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Kevin has served in ministry on college campuses, overseas, in urban areas, and in various churches, and he is the founding pastor of The Stream.

In addition to being the pastor of The Stream, Kevin also works part-​time as a pastoral counselor at Renewing Life Center.

Kevin has been married for over ten years to Lauren and has three children. He enjoys swimming, being in the outdoors, hiking, going to national parks, reading, music, and movies.
