The Spa at Lakeside 2.0

April is the best masseuse I have ever had and I’ve had many. She can adapt to whatever is needed and is literally so in tune with your body that she can work magic. Love this place and her!!! Thanks for making every day I’m able to share here better!!!

Updating my review from a few years ago. I’m still going here and get the best service!
I haven’t had one bad massage yet, which I usually find that most spas are very hit or miss. My top 3 masseuses are:
Jose, Kelly and Tony.
For me, these three do a bit more deep tissue, which my back so desperately needs. They are also great at adjusting to any pressure you prefer. They’re Amazing!
And of course, Rick is usually there to great when you arrive and finish with your service… always with fresh warm cookies!
I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

This place is amazing! The owner, Rick, baked some oatmeal cookies for everyone, it was very delicious! Diane did a great job with getting rid of the knots in my back without hurting me. Honestly this spa is the best one ive ever been to, and I’m definitely coming back here! Couples massage for $ 100 (throwback thursdays deal) really sealed the whole deal ;)

To say I LOVE this place would be an understatement! Been coming here for more years than I can remember. Just finished a fun spa visit for Mother’s Day with my mom and sister. I have NEVER had a bad service. I LOVE Tony! He gives a great massage and gives good suggestion for stretching problem areas! Stacy gives great facials! She is very knowledgeable and gentle! The staff is always great. And I just love the owner, Rick! Rick is always calm and accommodating. He truly cares about his business and his clients! There are always great holiday specials and weekly specials. The prices are great when you compare them to other spas in town! And if you are lucky there will be warm cookies :)

One of the best massages I’ve ever had! Booking an appt was seamless and I got in within a day. Abigail was my therapist, and she was very attentive to my needs and tension areas. As others have said, this place is a hidden gem and I appreciate the decent pricing and quality of service. I am definitely going to return, especially since the huge knots in my back definitely need more work. I will also return for a facial, so I’ll review on that when that happens :)

This review is for a 50 minute Couples Massage:
Receptionist: Abigail
–She was great, she was able to get us into a last minute couples massage. We arrived 45 minutes early and Abigail was very welcoming provided both of us water and oatmeal cookies she had made that morning.
Masseuse: Barbara and Donna
–They were both also very friendly and welcoming. They both introduced each other, asked about our problem areas, and occasionally asked how we were doing. Once the massage started they were both very considerate about setting the mood for optimum relaxation.
The overall experience was relaxing and felt like it had just been minutes ago since we had walked in. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it didn’t feel like they were using their hands but rather waves of energy.

Excellent place for a massage. Every time we visit Vegas, our first stop will be here for a relaxing massage before a few days of gambling and away time from the kids. Highly recommend.

My massage therapist is Diane! She is five star all the way! Love this place, it’s clean, great views and very relaxing atmosphere.

Two stars off for the rude receptionist and the total absence of the foot wrap that I confirmed with the front desk before the appt. began. Visiting from out of town so the front desk’s suggestion that it would be made up on my next appt. really doesn’t help. I’m also not sure I’d go back even if I lived in the area, based on that final exchange with the receptionist. Other than that, both the facial and massage were excellent.

I received a gift card for this fabulous place! What a pleasant surprise! The prices are fantastic! I had a package deal with a massage and facial for $ 100.00! My facial was FABULOUS! Ask for Rene she is the BEST!!!
If you don’t go for a massage then at least treat yourself to a facial with Rene! Enjoy :)

Absolutely love this place! I have been getting massages for years, sometimes more often than others. After finding this hidden gem, going someplace else in town just isn’t the same. Every single person that works here is so kind and genuinely happy to be there. There are so many wonderful therapists, I feel like you cannot go wrong here unless you aren’t willing to tell them what you want. They have someone that specializes in everything — so whether you want a a relaxing experience or are looking to «be able to walk normally again» as I’ve joked about — they work miracles here.
From the beautifully calm front courtyard, to the intimidate lobby, to the outside patio overlooking the lake… The Spa at Lakeside truly is a luxury in Vegas that is very hard to find. Do yourself a favor and skip the franchise/​chains and hotels… If you are looking for an incredible massage and a relaxing quick getaway from the «real world» come here.

Absolutely incredible experience. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. I ordered their Serenity package and left feeling, dare I say, serene. This was just the kind of thing I needed after the holidays, and as a special treat to myself. If I could give this place more stars I would, and I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

The «two stars» is for the price. VERY affordable and reasonable for the types of services that would otherwise be twice to 4 times as much at resort spas.
I’m scratching my head wondering why everyone gives this place «5 Stars». I have to say that everyone was very nice and customer service oriented. However, not to be condescending, but the whole experience leaves much to be desired…
Examples:
Jazz: Nothing wrong with Jazz music, but who plays Jazz in a spa??? That’s very presumptuous to think everyone will relax and enjoy listening to Jazz for 80 minutes! Nothing worse than listening to horns while trying to decompress.
Cold lotion: The initial application set the tone for the whole massage. Everytime thereafter is an anticipation of cold lotion coming into contact with skin – not relaxing. Is it too much to ask to have a belt dispenser/​warmer instead of setting the lotion down on top of the patron in addition to stiffening up muscles with cold lotion?
Clock timer: In addition to the Jazz music, there’s a radio timer that makes a buzzing noise distorting the music for a few seconds every time it alarmed. I get therapists have to watch time, but there has to be a better way without being too obvious.
Technique: Too many breaks in contact and walking away from the patron which is a no-​no in massage. The constant walking away was to retrieve hot stones which we didn’t even ask for. I know it’s considered a bonus, but completely unnecessary and noisy for that matter.
Lastly, the therapists didn’t even listen to our requests. My husband asked for neck, shoulders, back and foot focused massage. Not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES! And the therapist proceeded to do a full-​body anyway. I asked mine for a deep tissue – harder the better – focus on neck, back and legs. She did ok, wasn’t very deliberate and fluid. Hamstrings and quads were sadly neglected, both of which are major «leg» muscles.
All in all, I suppose you get what you pay for. I don’t blame the establishment as it’s all subjective. Let me just warn those who are accustomed to spas like #Montage, #Pelican Hill, #One and Only… etc. You will be sorely disappointed as it’s NOTHING of the sort. I would best describe it as an entry-​level spa for those just experiencing «spa-​ing» for the first time.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to get a massage. Unilocaled what was close to our house and this salon came up. All the reviews were good so decided to give them a try. We got a couples massage 2 massages for 50 min. $ 100.00. Nice and clean and quiet environment friendly staff and nice therapists. Will definitely be going back was happy.

Beautiful location and service was incredible. Rick was welcoming and gave us a tour of the facilities. He provided us with a wonderful snack of homemade oatmeal cookies and tea. (My choice) The view and atmosphere is very relaxing and our facial and full body wrap was heavenly! Best way to rejuvenate! Time well spent.

This was a fantastic experience, both relaxing and spiritual. We found the spa the locals go to while visiting Las Vegas. My husband and I both got massage and facials. Renee is a fabulous esthetician. Clearly an expert at what she does, caring and beautiful.

Love this place. What a hidden gem. Get there early and relax out by the lake. I enjoy listening to the birds and watching the ducks.
Regarding Massage — Michael is the best. I don’t have a challenge with a man massaging me. He has the strength and experience to get all the tension out of my muscles. Only wish they offered a car service. Hey now with Über in town, I may have come up with a way that I don’t have to drive. Well worth the trip. Also a great plaza with very good restaurants for either after or before if you wish.

Had a couples massage and foot scrub for our anniversary. It was amazing! They have wonderful deals and service. We will be back.

Katie is great. Strong gentle hands The specials offered Mondays and Tuesdays allow me the opportunity to take advantage of her pampering at least once a month. How lucky is that?

Came back today for my birthday for another couples massage two 50 minute massage for $ 100 deal! Donna is amazing! I went in feeling like 10 boulders on my back walking out feeling as light as air. Kelly did amazing on my boyfriend he feels amazing. I will definitely come back not as far apart on booking another massage it’s too amazing once a month please. Thank you for making my birthday more amazing. Ps they sat us outside to look at the lake while waiting for my appointment another beautiful touch.

I had received a spa gift certificate, and this place came highly recommended! I’m glad I listened. Loved the neighborhood of Desert Shores. A beautiful spa that sits on the lake of Desert Shores. I had a facial with Lana, and she was great. I felt so relaxed! They have an outdoor patio on that faces the water which was so nice! I’d love to come back again Thanks!!!

I’ve been here a few times and even though I don’t get massages often, when I do, this is the place I will always go. I’ve had massages at spas on the strip that cost an arm and a leg, and I will never do that again. This place is quiet, quaint, friendly clean and reasonable. The outside patio is super cute with a great view and there’s always fresh baked cookies and something to sip on. Yesterday my massage therapist was Diane and she was great! I have some kidney issues, and she was very gentle on my kidney area then got some knots out of my neck that I told her about. Can’t wait to go back. Mondays and Tuesdays have discounted treatments, btw.

First timer here. Loved it! Just got a basic couples massage and loved it. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly, the owner even friendlier. We didn’t get a chance to go outside and get a massage, it was cold anyway. But we did enjoy the view afterwards. Also cookies and a beverage when we left.

This place is wonderful. My husband and I were feeling the stress of our busy Vegas vacation and decided to find a spa for a massage. We were going to give up, because most of the spas in Vegas are just way overpriced for what you’re getting. This place is so affordable. If I lived here, I’d be making appointments a few times a month at least.
We got an 80-​minute couples massage for $ 180 total, and we were both so relaxed and felt wonderful by the end of the 80 minutes. I was not expecting stellar results, since the price was so low, but the experience was amazing. Hands down, the best massage I have ever had in my life, and I have been to a few higher end spas. I had several pains in my neck and shoulders that were completely worked out by the time I left. I cannot praise this place enough. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we walked in the door.

Robert, The owner sure does know how to keep his customers happy. The time i spent here as absolutely wonderful and I’m happy i picked a spa off the strip. The service, overall experience, location and massages were amazing.
Lakeside is about 7 miles North of the strip. It took us about 15 minutes to drive there. Its in a nice quiet residential area surrounded by a nice lake with beautiful views and pure relaxation. We walked in about 20 minutes early, signed in for our massages and sat for a moment in the lobby. The owner walked over and he was so polite and kind. He asked us if we wanted to sit out on the patio, he would turn on the heat lamps and fireplace. We went outside and waited for our therapists. We were offered blankets, tea and cookies.
Robert was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. This man really knows how to extend 5 star customer service. Our therapists arrived right on time and we were escorted into the couples room. Th massages were so relaxing. My therapists was a man which was fine with me, he made me feel comfortable and didnt feel like a creep at all. His pressure he applied was perfect and my body was feeling soooo good!
The prices are beyond reasonable! Check the website for yourself. Ive been to those high end spas on the strip which are nice but nothing beats the service we received from this place. If i lived in Vegas this would be my go to massage spot!

The spa was beautiful and I was led to a relaxation patio with a view of the lake and a fire pit. I was given tea and a freshly baked cookie to enjoy. A little while later I was picked up by my Massage therapist Donna. She was kind and talented. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. Then I went to Lana for a facial. It was incredible. I highly recommend this spa!

While I didn’t get to actually partake in any spa service, I would still like to comment on the great customer service I received.
I found this establishment while searchimg for high rated spas on Unilocal.
As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the counter. I was promptly asked what it was I was looking to purchase and if I had any questions. At the same time, I was handed a pamphlet with all of the services offered.
I stated that I was looking to give a spa day as a present to a family member. I was talked through a number of packages that would suit my gift needs and budget.
At some point I was even offered something to drink and some baked goods to munch on.
I think my family member will enjoy the spa package I purchased. From the hospitality I received, I am assured that they will be treated well and given excellent service and attention. I am tempted to return and purchase a spa package for myself.

Such a nice retreat! I came here yesterday because a friend of mine got me a gift certificate for the tranquility package. I know, my friends are better than yours. Just kidding. The 3.5 hour package was the perfect remedy for my mini melt down the week before.
Services: The tranquility package included a body scrub, a full body massage, a european facial, and a foot awakening treatment. All of which were absolutely heavenly. This was the perfect way to spend my tuesday morning. My masseuse was awesome! She had an extremely strong hand. I like it rough. Massages that is. And she was very attentive to my bodies needs. She did my massage, body scrub and my foot awakening. The body scrub was just what i needed to get all this dry-​vegas skin off. I might need to do this once a week! And the facial was perfect! My skin has been freaking out because of the extreme dry-​ness of vegas, and because i’ve been slightly stressed lately. But Raleen really worked with me to get my skin glowing and new. This also may need to be on my weekly agenda.
Location: The Spa at Lakeside 2.0 is just as it seems, Lakeside. Awesome location away from all of the craziness of «Las Vegas» and placed perfectly on a calm, relaxing lake! I loved sitting out back on the patio sipping on my tea gazing out at the lake before my treatments.
Staff: 5 stars! They we’re all extraordinary. From the owner to the receptionist, they all went above and beyond. I was able to get quality service and chat about travels and anything else that popped into my mind. Simply amazing.
Above and beyond: You get that 5^th star! The Spa at Lakeside 2.0 definitely deserves the 5^th star. They were affordable, with great service, and a very relaxing atmosphere. They go above and beyond by offering you refreshments and even a to-​die-​for cookie at the end. Drool…
