This place is horrible!!! Stay away from here!!! My niece was there for a wisdom tooth extraction. When the dentist injected the gum to numb it, she felt the medicine shoot up her eye and it poured out her nose! She asked if that was normal? He said, «no but it’s ok.» She asked if she could keep her tooth and they said no! They gave her instructions and a paper that says she would receive pain medication. When she went to fill it they said she only was given antibiotics. So she calls Tender Dental and they tell her just take Motrin. They told her that they only prescribe pain medication when they take two or more wisdom teeth out not for just one. I feel so bad for my poor niece. She was mistreated and talked down to!

This is definitely not the place for someone who is nervous about dentist appointments. The dentist experience was horrible. I told my dentist that I had a fear of dentists and after that, he seemed upset that I was nervous. He came up from behind me and began injections without a word while berating me for «clenching» and telling me he was not forcing me to be there. He did the root canal without any explanation of what he was doing. His work seemed to be good.
Since their website says they offer sedation dentistry and other alternatives, I was expecting them to be more empathetic. The office staff told me it was not offered at this location.
My experience with the front office staff, hygenist, and the dental assistants was good. They did get me in on the day I called and were able to do the root canal on the same day because I was in pain although I was there over 3 hours.

Everything was good. Until they ask for money at front. And later when time for visit they charge me
The full amount again. Then I went back to fix their error and front desk, by the way. Everyone just push the problem to the next. They said, can not give me the money until my insurance pays them first. Terrible way to treat patients. Will not recommend this place. Never do business again. Be careful when ever they ask you for money over the phone. Seems like all they care is money.
Today is April 6^th. Still waiting for my refund. Never give any money at front there.

I thought I really found a good place for my family until we went here. Number 1, they don’t actually allow the parent in the room while the childs appointment is going on. If the parent is not allowed to be with their child while the appointment is in progress then why can’t a grandparent bring the child to the dental office? I’m was extremely angry because we wasted our time going here for an appointment and was not seen because the grandparent brought the child. Next time tell your clients that only parents can bring their kid to the appointment. Not to mention that my temporary crown came out the very next day!!!

Rude staff, there was only three patients counting myself & it still took over an hour for someone to be called. It was an emergency visit for my 2yr old daughter & they weren’t gentle. After waiting for over an hour for a denrist, once we were already in a room the dentist wasn’t too nice to my daughter even though I told him it was her first time visit.
We were there 3 hours to just be sent home with no advise on how to ease my daughters pain.

I set up an appointment with Tender Dental thinking it sounded like a nice office.
Note: I have not been to the dentist in many years, but this experience from this office made me never want to try a new dentist office again, without research.
I got to my appointment, showed up on time, and had to wait in a waiting room packed with people and screaming Kids all over, I was pretty sure I needed braces, so that was the main reason I went to get X-​rays, cleanings, and a basic overall check-​up. When I got taken in finally, This older lady in scrubs, (so Unprofessional), looked like she would never work at a dental office, looked so confused as to how to do the X-​RAYS!, She was telling me that as she was doing my X-​rays that they would get worse!, she didn’t know how to do the x-​rays, she had to do several of the x-​rays over and over again.
The patient room looked gross, the tools were all old fashioned and looked like they could have been reused over and over, I was so disgusted by this place.
I let her finish my X-​rays and waited for the Dentist,
The dentist looked like a rather young asian guy, he barely spoke, had me do most of the talking, told me briefly that I had 4 cavities, and needed my wisdom teeth taken out, Thats all I remember him saying! Not personable at all, and Then said «Any questions?» As if in a hurry!
I wasn’t shocked to find that I had all these problems with my teeth, but the service, got worse.
I was told by the dentist himself that If I had any financial questions, that there was a person for that, Her name was Sandra.
Sandra is the financial lady for that dental place. Comes off as a nice lady that cares about your teeth, but she will try anything to get your money, wether through care-​credit, or out of pocket, What I did was stupid, because I had insurance, and I really wanted to take care of my teeth once and for all, but I ended up paying 526 dollars out of pocket to get my teeth fixed with my insurance helping too, that a lot of money out of pocket, I left feeling totally stupid.
But i figured I would pay it and get my teeth fixed and get it over with.
Come to find, the office called me three times to confirm appt, When I had asked about if I would be able to work and drive that day they all said yes, you can, Even Sandra said I could! The financial lady told me I could drive and work that day!
I come into my appt, and the doctor, DR. Ponce, Monica, PONCE, or whatever, looked like a basic Hygienist, Didn’t introduce herself as my dentist for that day, first thing she says is Your gonna need to be put to sleep for this procedure, so here I am, thinking that I could knock this out in one day, and go to work.
Absolutely not. And for my fillings, they messed that up too! SANDRA, (financial lady) didn’t even ask me if I wanted silver or white fillings, she put me down for Silver fillings, And when I got there I was told I would have to pay MORE OUT OF POCKET if I wanted white fillings. Not to mention she charged me for a retainer, which I never asked for, more money out of my pocket, for her mistake.
Total Mess at this place, and No shame whatsoever,
You would think the office people would care enough to reverse the damage that was done, not at all, I had to wait, and still am Waiting for my complete refund of 526 dollars that I wasted on terrible customer service, terrible staff,
Do not waste your time here! They will do anything to get your money! So sad!

It was a clean looking waiting room. I was not aloud back with my 6 year old son! I was not aloud to talk to the dentist! He had just had xrays & they made him do them again. Will never go back.

So I found this dentist for my kids because it was the closest to me but as soon as I called I was put on hold about 4 times until I hung up & had my husband call to make an appointment. When we went to our appointment everything went good until we were sent to sedation surgical dental I had my appointment at 9am & it was 11:30am & we were still waiting so I asked the front desk lady how much longer it would take & she had me talk to dr ponce that doctor is a bitch she was very rude I left the office super mad to the point I wanted to cry never going back again & I filled a complaint against her.

This place is HORRIBLE! Worst customer service EVER! I wish there was a button for zero stars because that’s what they really deserve. I had called them up today because it’s been three and a half months since my dad had gotten dentures from them. Since my dad isn’t fluent in English, I take him to all the doctor appointments and usually does the translating for him. My dad had gum disease from taking his medications which caused his teeth to be loose. The first appointment that I had taken my dad to, the staff wasn’t approachable at all. After the exam was done, they gave me a survey to fill out. The second time when I took my dad in, I had asked if I could go in there with my dad and they told me no. They don’t allow people that aren’t patients to go in. So I said ok. Well, when my dad came out, they had pulled out ALL his teeth, without notifying my dad or I. And the only way we found out was when he took out the cotton from his mouth and saw that he had no teeth left. He had also kept telling the person that extracted his teeth that it was hurting but the person did not care. He kept pulling one by one until he was done! My dad went there a few more times until he got his dentures. And each time that he went in, he had come out of there letting me know that the doctor kept forcing the denture in his mouth even though my dad had told him that it hurts. Every time my dad mentioned to him that it hurts, he kept forcing it in and saying «I know, I know». But obviously he does not care enough about his patient to listen to what they have to say. So the last time that my dad had to go in for another fitting, I asked the receptionist if I can go in with my dad. They finally let me in after a few times of me asking. When we got in, we were waiting for the doctor to come in with the denture that he has sent in a few times to get fixed. The doctor placed the dentures in and it still would not fit. He kept on forcing it and my dad was tearing up. I told him that he’s hurting my dad and he told me that he knew what he was doing. That he may be young but he’s been doing this for a long time. He seemed very irritated when I told him that he was hurting my dad. That made me very mad to see him hurting my dad and did not care after I told him that my dad was in pain! My dad had even mentioned to him that it did not fit and it was very loose. He then told my dad to get used to it for about three months and for him to get used to it. I had asked him if the denture still falls off when he opens his mouth if it was ok for him to use denture glue. He told me that he can’t recommend my dad to use denture glue but he can if he wants to. He sent us off after shoving a survey for us to fill out. Well, it’s now three and a half months later and the dentures still does not fit. My dad hasn’t been able to eat anything other than soft food. So I decided to call Tender Dental and make an appointment for my dad to go in. The older lady had answered the phone (I recognized her voice from previous appointments) and I explained to her the situation. She cut me off in the middle of my sentence and told me that he was supposed to come in along time ago. And I explained to her again that he was told by the doctor to come back in three months. So instead of arguing with her, I just basked her when the earliest available appointment was. She told me that I can go in on Tuesday at 2pm. I told her that I was sorry but my dad already has a doctor’s appointment somewhere else at 1pm. I told her that I can do a later time. She said for me to go in the following day. I once again told her that I was sorry but my mom has a doctor’s appointment at 2pm that day but I can go in sometime after 3pm. That 4pm would work for me. She then just got mad and raised her voice and asked me if I was going to keep my appointment cause I keep changing my mind. I’m sorry but I will not make an appointment knowing that I was not going to be able to make it there. So I just gave her my schedule and when I was available. I told her if she doesn’t want me going in the afternoon, I can go in the morning. She got very mad and told me that I don’t have to go there that I can go to a different dental office. And she hung up on me. I called her back and when she answered the phone, I told her that she was very unprofessional to hang up on a patient. She told me that if I didn’t like it, that I could go to another dental office and hung up on me again. When I called for the third time, another receptionist had answered the phone. And as soon as I asked her for the older lady’s name, she hung up on me. I called for the fourth time, the same lady had answered the phone and I asked her for the other lady’s name again. She then told me that she’s not allowed to give her coworker’s name out. I told her that I needed a name because I was going to call back and make a complaint. She still wouldn’t give me the name nor did she ask me if I wanted to speak with a manager!

Nothing about this place is Tender! From the start service was horrible as soon as I called to schedule an appt. Lady (sandra) on the phone was short and when I insisted on trying to get a clear answer it didn’t make sense she said they accept my insurance although she never heard who my insurance was. When I told her how can she answer that if I never told her the name of my insurance. If it wasn’t for wanting to go there to see Dr Ponce I wouldn’t haven’t made the appt. Once I got to the appt and they took me after a long wait the employee that comes in to explain charges after my xrays they didn’t make any sense. She goes to tell me I didn’t have insurance but a discount plan. I explained I would not proceed with services because that was incorrect and she said they called to confirm my coverage before my appt. Which makes zero sense considering they didn’t have that info. When I left she called me back to tell me there was was a misunderstanding and the Dr would like for me to come in to remove my tooth. When she set appt I made it clear If I go in I would have to set for a late appt. So I don’t need to return to work since I need to be able to clearly speak with clients in person. She assured me the had to get me in first thing in morning and I would be fine to go to work from there. Once I went back the wait was not like they told me, I complained I would have to leave to work if they did not take me soon. Then they moved to get me back and started. Once work was being done it felt very hard, brutal NOT Tender! I bleed so much it looked as if I was throwing up. I was never given post instructions. I found out about this when I called to speak to dental assistant. By third day I was in worse pain, swollen and puss coming out. I am not in dental profession but none of this seemed right! I am feeling completely disgusting and disappointed that I went out of my way to come to a dentist I was familiar with from years ago.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office. The receptionists were disorganized, weren’t able to answer any questions about the appointment/​insurance policies, and incorrectly processed my medical info twice. After waiting an hour past my appointment time, when I went to reschedule they attempted to cancel me as a ‘no show’ when I said I’d have to reschedule do to waiting so long. The receptionist was extremely ghetto in the way they addressed any questions as well. I would save yourself the trouble and keep on driving past this place.

Worst customer service ever !!
I called to make my appointment to see the oral surgeon, but the lady on the phone told me my insurance required to see general dentist first to get a referral (which was wrong. when I spoke to my insurance they told me I didn’t need to get a dentist referral to see the surgeon). Keep in mind they hadn’t spoken with my insurance yet to make that determination. Either way I went ahead and saw the dentist first because I wanted to get a cleaning done. By the time my appointment came around they had already contacted my insurance to see my coverage. They did the cleaning and two types of X-​rays. Next thing I know, I receive a bill from this place. I contacted my insurance and Turns out my insurance only covers one X-​ray and not two. When I contacted Tender Dental and let them know what my insurance told me they said my insurance told them that it covered both and I’m responsible for the charge. I called my insurance again and explained what Tender Dental said. My insurance said there’s no way they could of told them that. In fact, they didn’t even speak to a person. they used the automate system. So I decided to file an appeal through my insurance. And I ended up not having to pay for their mistake thanks to my insurance.
When I went to get a print out from Tender Dental that showed I do not owe them anything and that that charge was dropped, they receptionist told me that they like to keep two types of X-​rays and they bill my insurance and if my insurance doesn’t cover it they drop the charge. They completely upset me. Because now they had told me two different stories. And if what she said is true, I was never informed beforehand about doing two X-​rays. And how dare they try to see if my insurance will pick up their tab.
They are very unprofessional. When I was there one of the receptionist was treating a patient very poorly. yelling at him and rolling her eyes. They also shove a survey at your face before you leave.
I told them I didn’t want to make an appointment for my second cleaning and they still did an appointment because I just received a reminder text of such appointment. I called to cancel and when the receptionist answered she was talking to someone before I could even say hello. After I cancelled she hung up on me in the middle of trying to ask her something.
Please avoid this place at all cost. Save yourself a headache.
I have a high tolerance for people since I work in customer service but this place really did it for me.

I was shocked when I got to the waiting room. Waiting room was very run down & advertisements painted on the window made it look like a bargain basement outlet. Staff was friendly, but the dentist was not too friendly. He did not seem to be the «tender gentle dentist» I was looking for. There were 2 females waiting in the waiting room. One was yelling at her kids & the other was yelling at her kid in Spanish. I am normally afraid of the dentist & spend my time waiting in the lobby freaking out about if I would experience pain, but this time spent my time freaking out wondering about the cleanliness of the instruments. I have never seen a lobby of a dental office that looked like that.

I cant stress enough.
If you see the name walk away. You will save yourself a headache and many un-​needed problems.
I came here with the intentions of seeking professional medical assistance as my son is have some dental issues. I found them through my insurance provider and said hey… why not! I like to try no places.
The main problem I had was that I had gotten 3 – 4 harassing reminder calls. Like seriously they should put the person in charge of that many reminder calls to give the office a new feng shui. The energy in the office is demeaning.
The manager with the 3 dots next to her eye, was on point.(VERY RUDE) She told me that if I called the complaint number on the back of the door. That doctor Ponce would say exactly this, «it is not our responsibility to tell you what you need to bring to your appointment, You should have known that you needed your ID.» In layman’s terms,
on top of that she did mention that being Mexican has nothing to do with me not knowing that if my child was to be seen I needed my ID.
When you are raised most of your life in another country you are not sure what to expect.
I honestly recorded the call with this lady and she was so freaking rude. I mean all she had to say was hey buzz off. Yet she decided to sit there and argue with me about how I should have known.
Las Vegas is a city of tourist. Most people aren’t from here. Maybe she should have her office explain things more in depth when giving all of these harassing reminder phone calls. …
PLEASE FIND SOMEONE BETTER TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR DENTAL NEEDS.

I just can’t. I tried to be nice and patient but I couldn’t. I walked in on time for my appointment and still had to wait. They staff barley acknowledged me. After checking in I wanted in the front and was called in after maybe 15 mins. Okay, that’s fine it happens. I was told to go to room three which was occupied then moved over to room two. They took my X-​rays. No problems there, here is where I got mad. I sat in the chair and waited for half an hour for the doctor to see me. He check me for cavities and then said the hygienist would be there soon. After waiting another half an hour the X-​ray tech came back and asked me to fill out a survey. My main reason for coming was for cleaning and still hadn’t happen, that survey was filled out completely for them. Then the doctor came back and asked me if I was tired, yes tired of waiting. It had been an hour since I walked in. Finally I was over to the cleaning office and waited another 10 mins and then the hygienist walked in and explain she had to go take care of her kids. That’s really not my problem, then preceded to hit me in the head and let water drip down my face into my shirt. Worst expertise ever, I can’t imagine if I was afraid of the dentist, it might have been worse. I won’t be going back in six months. Not happening.

You wait easily over an hour. Then they always do extra work if they know the insurance takes care of it and they won’t tell you if the insurance didn’t cover every thing. I got a letter but no phone calls after 6 months threatening to turn me into collections. The staff truly doesn’t care to help solve a problem. If you don’t mind long waits and getting over charged and finding out about it 6 months later then go to this dump. I supposedly had a cavity fixed that had no problems before they «fixed» it. I knew I didn’t want to go back and telI them to fix it because they will probably charge me again saying my insurance will cover it, but won’t. I’m not the only victim they swindled, if you read any of the other negative comments about this place or the boulder highway office please avoid this place. They will lie and tell you they tried contacting you about charges being accrued, I promise you they never sent one letter to me until the letter today about my charge going to collections. I’m not singling out workers but the company as a whole is straight trash. I will NEVER go back to that place.

If I could give a –5 stars i would but obviously I cant. If you have the option to go to another dental company then PLEASE go. This is the worst dental office I have ever been to. If you don’t mind waiting an hour in the lobby then another 30 minutes in the dental chair BEFORE a dentist even comes in to greet you then by all mean choose tender dental. Ive gone through 3 different dentists at this place in in 2 years and the last dentist made me choose to change dental companies entirely. The fist dentist I had [Dr. Jackson… I think] wasn’t bad but she also wasn’t helpful. The second dentist [Dr. Calloway] oh my goodness no lie he was the BEST dentist EVER if my insurance didn’t take him off the provider list I would still be going to him. But the 3^rd dentist [Dr. Allen or something like that] is by far the worst dentist I have ever had. Maybe we are just complete opposites but I did not like him the instant he came into the room and started talking to me like I was a child instead of an adult which was strike 1. Strike 2 came when he chose to yell at me like he was my father about the brushing of my wisdom teeth [my wisdom teeth grew in perfectly aligned with my teeth so i never got them removed but the way i was brushing my teeth the wisdom teeth weren’t getting as clean as the rest so instead of offering me suggestions on how to brush my wisdom teeth he went straight to we need to talk about them being removed since you don’t want to properly take care of them]. Lastly strike 3 was when I had a cap placed on my bottom molar and they left cement residue on one of the teeth on the top row so no matter how hard i brush that tooth ALWAYS feels dirty. Oh and to put the cherry on top this place is about to send me to collections for $ 2600 even though it was THEIR billing mistake.
