The food is good. I had brunch couple of times and was never dissatisfied.

Found this gem right on the strip. I ordered the aloo gobi, garlic naan and gulag jamun. Can I just say they get an extra star for all the damn garlic they put on their naan!!! I enjoyed the aloo gobi, and they gave me a huge portion. Idk how they even fit the lid on because it was practically overflowing. It was convenient to get to because it’s right next to MGM. There is a place to sit and wait right outside the restaurant. The food came out quickly as well. This food just really hit the spot and it was great left over food when I had the munchies.

Best Indian food in Las Vegas. Been loyal customer for 5 years. This is my go to spot for halal prepared Indian food. My vegetarian friends love this spot when I bring them also. Feel like negative reviews r their competitors cause who names exact people that get sick from food LOL. Never had bad experience and their garlic nan is always on point

I love this place! EVERY dish we had was amazing and the staff was so friendly. Even on a Friday night our food came out in a timely manner and looked great.

Good place to eat if your looking for decent Indian food on the Vegas Strip. The ambiance and service was very good. The food tasted more like homely… it was good but not great. Will visit again

Been here four times over two vegas trips. The food is great! Probably some of the best Indian food I have had(I’m from Portland, OR). I highly recommend going for Dinner, as Lunch is buffet-style and there are just so many other great dishes on the full menu that are worth checking out. Definitely go.

I rarely write negative reviews. But, experience at Tamba has been so different that I had to. 6 of us went for lunch buffet on the 30th December 2015 afternoon. We were happy to find an Indian place on the strip! The ambience was good, location was great and the food tasted ok as well! Upma was very tasty. Idly was very dry — probably because we went around 2:00 pm which was too late for the food to be fresh. My main complaint is, the minute we completed our lunch all of us felt extremely drowsy and sleepy. All of us were not up until late evening. We were surprised that all 6 of us felt the same way! Neither we were sleep deprived nor extremely tired to doze off after lunch. On sharing this with our friends, we came to know that 12 of our friends had lunch buffet in Tamba sometime in September 2015. Most of them had an upset stomach. All other restaurants had a long wait time because of which we chose to go to an Indian place. Had we chosen a different place, we might explored the strip that afternoon instead of warming our beds. Hope this is not happening to anyone else!

We went for dinner buffet on the Christmas Eve and the Gobi manchurian was the worst I ever had. Aloo tiki was dripping in oil. Dal was super spicy. Roti was rubbery. And the price was 20 $ for this kind of food. Do not go to this place. Not worth it at all.

Food is Overpriced but very poor quality. Chicken was reused from morning an lamb was old and not properly cooked. I would not recommend this place for the money. Buffet is $ 19 which covers only basic items

We had a dinner buffet. It was really good, being a Indian I am always comparing to real Indian meal I liked it to my taste. I would recommend it to everyone.

The most amazing Indian food I’ve eaten in US. We are from the NJ area where there is a plethora of Indian restaurants and the taste that Tamba offers still stands out. The naans were so incredibly soft. And the kofta(we ordered malai kofta) was so melt in mouth and the gravy was finger licking! We also ordered the daal tadka — it was listed as a favorite and it was truly so very flavorful! Also the green chutney that accompanied the mix pakora we ordered had the amazing homemade flavor(usually the ones I’ve eaten at the restaurants are more liquidy) and the perfect consistency. The pakoras were also very nice and crispy. I’d definitely recommend, you wouldn’t be disappointed

I have been here many times and every time it has been a pleasant experience. This time I thought of leaving a review b’coz their service was exceptionally good. They were very courteous and quick and they even accommodated our dog in the outside patio. Food has been consistently good as always! We’d ordered Budha’s feast and Ashoka’s feast and they were very flavorful. Overall this place is great and highly recommended!

It’s been 5 years, and this place was even better than we remembered. I had the Malai Kofta with the yellow fried rice, Hubby had the chicken Tikka Masala, with basmati rice. We had the pakoras for our starter. A couple of naans as well. The naans are amazing. So light and fluffy. We have enough food for another meal tomorrow. We might even go back on Thursday for their Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet. It’s THAT good. One weird thing though is the water. It’s disgusting! No clue why. Guess we’ll have real drinks next time.

A lot of mixed reviews here! We have been here twice on different trips(once for dinner and once for Sunday lunch buffet) with a group of 6 and all of us enjoyed our meals both times. Yes the service is lacking with odd waiters who could use a few lessons in good manners but the food was always delicious. For dinner, highly recommend ordering pani puri to start with. The puri was crispy and the pani perfectly made. Also don’t miss out on the lamb chops! Weird to order at an Indian restaurant but honestly they were incredible. We kept ordering more and more plates because we just couldn’t stop eating them! Oh course we tried all the stables, butter chicken, chicken biryani, paneer tikka, palak panner, garlic naan and raitha. Everything was delicious and nothing was left over. The dishes are kinda on the small side so it’s good for sharing and trying a bunch of items. Ok, so this lunch buffet is pretty extensive and basically has everything your hungover tired body needs – samosas, upma, uttapam, idli, sambar, kadhi, naan, fish curry, chicken like 5 different ways and everything in between. Definitely give Tamba a try and be your own judge :)

The manager does not understand common etiquette of reading out the order to confirm. He got it wrong and then comes back to fight. Food had too much salt.

[ October, 2015 ] Good food on a strip seemingly-devoid of anything truly ethnic. The buffet looks great and I’ll try it next time I’m in town.

Five star Indian lunch buffet. I’ve been here a few times but only for the lunch buffet. The restaurant is the antithesis of the Strip. It is at the back of a Hawaiian-themed, courtyard mall with other restaurants, t-shirt stores, Half Priced Tickets, street performers, etc. You enter an office building, take an escalator up a flight, and the restaurant is maybe 25 feet away. Subdued lighting, calming music, wonderful smells. A little oasis in the midst of the Strip. Food is very good for a buffet. A little spicy as it should be. Very friendly waitstaff. Price at $ 15 is reasonable for Vegas and even better if you get the 10% off from Unilocal for checking in.

Great Buffet, Okay service and Not so friendly Manager! We were staying at Monte Carlo and this was the closest Indian Restaurant. The reviews were crap but we decided to check it out anyway. The manager was bit rude coz he asked for 15 $ at front without even asking. But when we tasted the food, all was forgotten. There was huge variety of dishes for for Veg and non-Veg. Everything was spiced perfectly and tasted fresh. Here what was on menu: –Idli(soft), Sambhar –Chutneys(Delicious) –Upama(Best I have had so far) –Zucchini curry –Kadhi Pakoda(oh so yumm!) –Yellow dal tadka –Cumin Rice –Navratan Korma(good flavors) — Shahi Paneer(Okay) –Pakoris(Crispy) — Chiken tikka — shahi Chicken curry –Lamb curry –Chicken biryani –Sooji Halwa — Kheer The server took a very long time to bring the water and clear the plates but food was delicious and we ended up having alot to eat. We again went there for buffet the next day and weren’t disappointed in food. We didn’t try ala-carte so wouldn’t say anything. But I will recommend trying their buffet!

We were looking for an Indian Restaurant in Las Vegas and found this one on Unilocal. We went there a 8 pm. Many guests were Indians. So… I think this is a good sign. The Service was absolutely friendly. And we had a very tasty Dinner in a great atmosphere. Las Vegas and all the Bling Bling seems to be far far away. Very nice!
