This place is by far my favorite! I have been to SushiSamba many times and honestly they have never disappointed me. SUSHI SAMBA provided us with a really nice dining experience. The scene and ambiance are remarkable and lively. This restaurant has a very fun and unique menu. They put a fun spin on Japanese cuisine by mixing it with Brazilian flare. The friendly staffs was amazing, even the manager JASON PIETRANTONI who was very knowledgeable, professional and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. I recommend the green bean tempura with truffle aioli, the beef and yellow tail taquitos are AMAZING! The Sea Bass melts like butter in your mouth. It is just fantastic. Great flavour combinations and presentation on all the courses we ordered. It certainly lived up to our expectations.
I highly recommend this place for anything from a ladies night, to a family dinner, to a romantic evening out, to a birthday dinner with a large group of friends.

We only had a few options in terms of hot food and sushi, but it was all a hit — especially the sea bass!!!

Dined here with friends over a weekend in town and we all loved it. From the food, service and ambiance it was top notch and a great experience! Sushi Samba is a blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine which I had never experienced at any dining establishment.
We each ordered several dishes to share. I do not recall exactly what they were but the presentation and unique flavors were amazing and impressive!
Definitely must try if you’re a local or just visiting.

The concept is incredible: japanese-​peruvian fusion. It has such a fun and creative menu.
At first glance, you may think it’s not going to be good for vegetarians, but actually there are quite a few options.
The clear winner for me was the Crispy Jidori Egg — it came out perfectly cooked (love that runny orange yolk!) and the kabocha gnocchi was delightful. The generous helping of black truffle shavings didn’t hurt either.
I wasn’t sure it was going to be enough food (and it is a little on the small side for a full meal), so I ordered the Amazonia roll, which looked interesting and definitely veg. It was pretty good, but I’m not sure it was $ 12 good. I might go with something else next time.
The selection of beer and sake is great — they have anything you could possibly want, including dark Asahi (soooo good).
All in all a great experience. Will return the next time I’m in Vegas.

This is the place to go whenever I’m in Vegas. Foods and services are good. Atmosphere is nice.
I always order churrasco, sushi, and some a la carte menus. Cocktails are good too. If you wanna enjoy both Brazilian bbq and Japanese foods, this is the place to go.

Food was excellent! Our party of 7 got there early for some happy hour appetizers and drinks prior to our dinner reservations. The drinks were tasty, and the food was impeccable — probably some of the best sushi I’ve ever had.
The one thing that this place is lacking is customer service. I felt like the entire staff had this «Entitled — I’m better than you attitude» — which I’m sorry, doesn’t really fly when you work in the service industry.
We were a large party, with a very large bill — it was a special occasion, and there were several rounds of drinks, plus we ordered (at least) one of everything off the happy hour menu prior to be seated for a full dinner. Our male bartender was incredibly rude, and seemed very inconvenienced with our parties orders. If one person ordered a drink, he made it a point to interrupt every conversation between others to see if anyone else needed another drink, even if their glass was full. At one point my brother in law ordered a drink, and about 5 – 10 minutes later my husband ordered a different drink and the bartender very obviously rolled his eyes, kind of flailed his arms and huffed that he had just asked if he needed anything. Not what I would expect at this caliber of a restaurant, and I hope that next time we return the service is much better.

Sea bass is unreal!!! Sushi is great and service is fast and staff is very knowledgeable.

Expecting much, I was not taken by this place. The food was actually quite nice and fresh but the service could not fetch it for me. Long waiting time, had to ask twice where my order was.
Miniature Miso Soup with almost nothing in it. Wonderful sushi, that was really nice. But: Hectic and non-​empathetic staff. Prices slightly elevated for the amount plated. I would rather go elsewhere next time.

This place is a hidden gem within the Palazzo if you feel like treating yourself and lightening your wallet just a bit. They serve a variety of dishes inspired by Peruvian, Brazilian, and Japanese cuisine. We didn’t really know where to begin, so the waiter suggested doing an «omakase» (chef’s choice) style of offerings depending on how much you’d like to spend. He suggested creative sets with various price ranges, so we opted for one that ended up costing about $ 155 a person (without drinks and including tip). The wagyu beef steak strips were prepared raw where they provide you a hot rock (forgot what they call it) that cooks your meat for you and a platter of sauces and various types of salts. To be honest, I didn’t need those seasonings because the meat alone was mesmerizing. Also, you have to eat it with the sliced pears because it’s a slightly sweet and crunchy compliment to the savory melting flavor the beef provides. The other dish that blew me away was the chilean sea bass. They serve it on a stick which made it look like a lollipop and I sure devoured it like one on a fiery hot summer day.
Other things we tried that were enjoyable were the wagyu gyozas, sushi rolls (nothing special), various sashimis, and this tasty egg roll looking appetizer that had crispy vermicelli and scallops inside.

Anyway, I know everything on the strip is pretty expensive and I definitely should have Unilocaled this place before going in… My mistake, I know. However, I had just arrived in LV, checked into the Venetian and my hotel room key had SUSHISAMBA on it. I figured, ‘I’ve been craving sushi the whole drive over here and this must be a sign! Let’s go get sushi!’ I went against my better judgment and immediately walked over to have dinner with my family. Ahhhh, I definitely have regrets about that now… Mannnnn, marketing and convenience just gets ya. –_​–
Don’t get me wrong; the food wasn’t terrible and the ambiance had cool vibes. I just can’t justify spending that much money on 2 oz. of food. I didn’t realize it was tapas style but once I found out, I just went with it and though we could order a bunch of stuff and simply share.
We ordered a couple of sushi rolls, one order of sea bass, a scallop appetizer, and steak. Our favorite was the sea bass-​super fresh and amazzzzzing taste (but we all had one piece each because there were maybe 5 pieces?-in all honesty, that wouldn’t fill me up if that was for one person). Everything else was okay but I think we would have been a lot happier, richer and fuller if we had just gotten burgers.
I would recommend this place as a romantic date for an anniversary or birthday-​for intimate occasions, not anything dealing with a group (3 or more lol).

Came here for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. I mainly wanted their happy hour sushi, but that’s only in their bar/​lounge area.
We started with their appetizer, believe it was tempura string beans with truffle sauce. It was amazing! I highly recommend it! We also ordered their avocado sushi and for dinner I had fillet minion and he had duck with mushroom sauce. Get the mushroom sauce! Our waiter recommended it and it was so delicious.
The staff was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the food there.
This place is fancy so the amount of food you get is small for the price you pay, but it’s all about quality here. I didn’t mind because I’m not a big water so this place was perfect for me.

Now this was a fun meal.
We were with a big group and did a chef’s tasting menu and it left nothing to be desired.
I wish I could remember all the wonderful dishes that made it to the table, but our waiter convinced us to get a second bottle of sake, so I cant.
I will tell you though, sake aside, the meal was phenomenal, the setting was very trend/​cool. I’ve been to the Sushi Samba in NY and it has a bit more color and brightness to it which I prefer, but regardless was still a wonderful meal.

I love their take on classic foods and their plating is incredible! It’s definitely a fun place to go have a meal and a couple of cocktails with a large group of friends!
A must order is the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Crispy Taquitos, 12oz Ribeye Tobanyaki and the Mixed Wild Mushrooms. Of course I can assume that there are other amazing dishes on their menu so let me know what I’ve missed!

Sushi samba is located inside palazzo hotel. It’s got Japanese, Brazilian & Peruvian food all in one Restuarant. They have the biggest sake menu in Vegas. We saw one on the menu for $ 4000!!!
We ordered the oysters (I wasn’t a fan), shishito peppers & edamame for appetizer. I loved the shishito peppers personally.
Then we ordered the yellowtail jalapeño, some specialty tuna roll that was crunchy & another specialty roll that had mozzarella cheese in it (sorry can’t recall the names) & they were all very very tasty.
You should expect to spend about $ 50−60/person at this Restuarant. Overall, it was good & I recommend it to everyone especially if you are staying at the Palazzo hotel. The waiter & the hostess were very friendly & nice. Our waiter was originally from Baltimore & he was very nice.

I’ve been here at least 6 times since my last review. It’s one of my staples when I come to Vegas.
Food is still AHMAZING and service is sometimes a hit or miss. However, the food is that good that I’m still giving it 5 stars.
My most recent visit was with a bachelorette group and it was a big hit. The bride to be thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. We had about 4 – 5 rounds of shots, I think, and they were amazing. They even accommodated our friend who wasn’t able to drink with fun virgin shots! I introduced my Vegas virgin sister to this place and she immediately fell in love with EVERYTHING. The server messed up a lot of things for our special dinner but I wasn’t gonna let it ruin the girls’ last night.
I spent a lot of $ here but it’s worth it, the food is THAT good.

I don’t know where to begin… Let me just say I had the worst service by the rudest and most dismissive people at Sushi Samba — ever!
— The edamame was cold
— Sushi rolls were tasteless
— Appetizers — tasteless
I made the waiter aware that I have a shellfish allergy and then I asked questions and ordered my food. When one of my rolls came out the waiter said,“The tempura is fried in the same oil as shellfish, but if you don’t care we don’t care either!“
Did you read what I just said he said to me?
Okay, so very confused I handed the cups of tempura back and ate my food very disgusted in how he talked to me. The main waiter pretty much avoided our table. When I told him what was said to me he said,“I don’t know why he would say that to you.” Wait a minute does basic customer service ever occur to you people? How about you apologize! So he says I’m going to get the manager I said no don’t.
He tells the manager anyway and the manager walks over in a drive by motion and drops the updated bill on the table and says we removed the roll and kept walking.
Again NO apology or acknowledgment! I didn’t need the roll taking off, I just needed a sincere apology and they made it clear they weren’t going to give me one.
I asked myself why did they behave the way they did? I realized it was because we weren’t dressed up like the other patrons. They assumed we were poor, so they treated us in a dismissive manner. They assumed that I was only complaining about the roll, because we couldn’t pay our bill — false!
Sometimes all customers want is to know that you appreciate their business and whatever mistake took place won’t happen again and just maybe an apology to go with.
Terrible service…

I’ve stayed at the Venetian/​Palazzo a dozen times and had never eaten at Sushi Samba. What a terrible mistake I’ve made all these years. Looking for a restaurant in the hotel for our bachelor party, we decided upon SushiSamba due to the variety of dishes, the vibrant atmosphere, and positive word of mouth reviews. We made a reservation through opentable, and were promptly seated upon arrival.
Samba proclaims to have the most extensive sake selection in Vegas, and we let our server choose a cheaper bottle for us and it was delicious.
1) Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Gyoza (4.5÷5) — you get 5 delicious pot stickers with quality beef that just melts in your mouth
2) Yellowtail Taquito (⁵⁄₅) — there are two mandatory dishes to get and this is one of them. essentially a mini taco with yellowtail, roasted corn miso, and avocado. the explosion of flavor was mind-​numbingly good and even friends who don’t enjoy seafood loved this
3) Yellowtail Sashimi (4.5÷5) — 4 slices of high quality yellowtail, the sauce is delicate and sour
4) Berkshire Pork Belly (3.75÷5) — I am admittedly biased towards pork belly so I loved the dish. the butterscotch miso on top was a little overwhelming but the pork belly itself was cooked to perfection
5) Sea Bass Anticucho (⁵⁄₅) — this is the other mandatory dish. we were very fortunate because the table next to us came 15 minutes after and they ran out of this dish! the sea bass skewer is their signature dish and deservedly so. two skewers of sea bass cooked so perfectly (soft on inside, slightly crispy exterior), there aren’t enough superlatives to describe how delicious it is.
6) Rio Grande (⁴⁄₅) — from their Churrasco menu, includes three types of meat: ribeye, chorizo, and wagyu picanha. i would not suggest this if you are eating by yourself or with another because it is just so much meat. in a larger group setting, i think this dish is perfect to share. the wagyu picanha is my favorite because the meat was so soft and tender.
Quite simply, I loved my experience at SushiSamba. The service was fantastic. The food was unique and delicious at the same time. The atmosphere embodies that of Vegas– vibrant and exciting. The price of the dinner was what I’d expect from a «strip» restaurant, so be prepared to spend at least $ 50.
I can’t wait to go back to SushiSamba for some yellowtail tacos and sea bass.

For a place that has grown in popularity at such a rate, I expected much more of Sushi Samba.
Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed my lunch, however nothing was outstanding or worth repeating. And for a meal of $ 50 per person (in which no alcohol was ordered), I think I can be a little tougher on my expectations.
Reading other reviews it seems that my mistake was not ordering some of the hot food options. We went straight to Japanese: miso soup, edamame, sashimi and rolls.

This place is very little sushi and very much Peruvian and Brazilian. The menu for our flight was catered to the group. They said they were going to interview the table to see likes and dislikes… But, that didn’t happen.
However, the food courses blew us ALL away. We started off with a small plate of ceviche tacos that were the BEST I have ever had. Among other favorites: sea bass skewers, beef with truffles and some sort of dumpling plate.
Can’t wait to go back! Next time, we’ll just tell them to shut up and take our money. The flight course is quoted at 40 – 50 per person. We ended up with a check that was bigger than that (about 70 each — but some of us had drinks). If you are staying at the Palazzo this is a must visit!

I chose to eat at SushiSamba because I needed an extra kick in my sushi fix. I was actually surprised by the Asian Fusion menu, I was not expecting it to work so well!
The décor of SushiSamba, like other restaurants at the Palazzo, are really well decorated and ornate. The interior had a curvaceous geometric style to it with muted colors which gave a modern approach to the Brazilian vibe they mixed with their Japanese-​styled menu.
THE STAFF —
We made reservations a few days before, which is very crucial. The front desk ladies were very charming and were very polite. Our waitress, Isabela, was phenomenal in service; and, let us take our time when enjoying our meal. She did not rush us, she got our orders in quickly and managed the meal quick and neatly.
THE FOOD —
I started appetizers off with their Kumamoto oysters, Salt and pepper squid, and Coco Leite. The Kumamoto oysters were catched from the west coast of the hemisphere, and were $ 5.00 each, so I just had to order six of them. The oysters itself were quite miniature, which I did not mind at first, but I think it’s quite expensive for how little we got. The salt and pepper squid had bold flavors of shichimi pepper and sea salt which was a bit acerbic to the appetizer itself. The Coco Leite was nothing special, it was literally 90% ice and the rest was juice.
Our entrees came out at the exact same time which looked scrumptious. My friend had their Samba strip (which is their Maine Lobster), and I ordered their Neo Tokyo (which had bigeye tuna). I really enjoyed their succulent Lobster, which also came with delectable sushi rolls. Their menu has a bunch of Vegetarian and Pescatarian friendly foods to choose from.
For dessert, I ordered their Mochi, and my friend and I shared their Yuzu Tart Cheesecake which looked absolutely magnificent. My Mochi had four very contrasting flavors, and two very homey flavors like cookies & crème, and chocolate. I really enjoyed the green tea flavor which is my favorite. My friend’s Cheesecake came with a huge sugar sphere with cracker crumbs all around that gave a majestic vibe to the plate.
