For over 25 Years, Sun Valley Automotive of Las Vegas, Nevada is a locally owned and operated full service automotive repair shop. Established since 1988, we are open 7 Days a Week, 7am to Midnight. Our shop offers complete automotive maintenance and repair services, including computer and electrical diagnosis/​repair, engine and transmission repair/​rebuild. Our shop employs highly skilled technicians and works with all makes and models including Hi-​Performance vehicles, hot rods, classics, and we work on diesels too!

We offer commercial fleet maintenance and repairs. We are a GSA Government Approved Fleet Vendor, Wright Express Vendor, Official Nevada Emission testing and Repair facility, BBB A+ rating and home of the $ 15 Oil Change.

History

Established in 1988.

Sun Valley Automotive established by Terry in 1988 in Las Vegas on a lonely stretch of road heading north out of town. Today Terry still runs the shop, still locally owned and operated with the same style that has made his shop highly respected in the valley for quality service and repairs, integrity and Terry’s unique way of operating his shop and treating customers like family. Specializing in all types of service and repairs foreign and domestic, diesels too! Fleet Accounts offered, authorized GSA Government, Wright Express and PHH Vendor. We’re one of the oldest authorized DMV Emissions Class I and Class II and repair facility in the state. Over 25 years serving the community. All makes and models, all years, from basic services to computes, electrical, engines, transmissions… we do it all. Very few shops can say that. 7 Days a Week, 7 am to Midnight. In 1981, I was standing next to a gruff greasy looking fellow at the local gas station in Thousand Oaks, California. Leaning on the fender of my 1965 Chevy pickup he said «Well it’s either gas or electrical» and followed it up with «it’s $ 25 an hour» and that he would need a few hours to check the car, and perhaps he’d locate the source of my troubles or perhaps not, but either way more time would be needed.

I was looking at this fellow wiping his hands on a shop rag thinking of my low paying construction job, wife and new baby at home and a savings account that did not exist yet because of the a fore mentioned items.
