Established in 1988, Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging developed out of Dr. Leon Steinberg’s radiology practice, which has served physicians, hospitals and residents of Las Vegas for the past 40 years.

I’ve been here twice in 3 months and have been treated very well both times. Unlike most hospitals and medical offices, I don’t have to worry about spending all morning or afternoon sitting around waiting. I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time on both occasions (that’s nuts) and had no problems with paperwork or copay transactions. Great staff, plenty of seats, lots of productivity happening. Only suggestion: not everybody likes the same shows. Two TV’s and no variety, but I can deal with that.

Top notch facility. Clean. Friendly staff. State of the art equipment! I listened to music through fancy headphones while getting my MRI! Get the first appointment available at 0630 and you will have no problems like the other reviews I read. By time you do paperwork, have the MRI, and then get a copy of your images – it will have been an hour and a half. As a healthcare professional, I was extremely impressed.

I have been coming here for two years. For mammo’s and chest x-​rays. The staff is wonderful. Friendly, professional and efficient. Super thorough! My results get sent directly to my doctor within three days. Can’t beat that! Super clean. Staff is very organized. I get both tests done on the same day and I’m in and out in about an hour. I love this place and all the staff — from check in til check out :)

My first Unilocal review ever, I’ve never felt the need to write a review until now. Earlier today I had a hip arthrogram done. The technologist who assisted me was great, she was so nice and professional, and when the doc came in for the injections, once he inserted the needle for the dye, something went wrong, because he said to his assistant «under the muscle «and asked for
More dye, and she had to refill his syringe and he was digging around with the needle, I asked him is everything okay and he said yes, but didn’t seem confident, he said for MRI that it’ll show up fine, but what about all that extra dye in me and in my muscle or nerves, a short time after I noticed my toes were numb and throbbing with pain ! I’m thinking I should go to the ER, right now !
On top of that after my MRI was done, I asked to lady doing the MRI for the disc and films and for some reason they wouldn’t give me the films, last week at another Steinberg location they gave me
The films no problem, I even spoke with the manager (some brunette about 5’5 in height, don’t know her name but if your a future patient reading this ask Steinberg who was working on this date to find out) who was very rude about saying we can’t give them to you even after mentioning other Steinberg locations did.
Be careful when you come to this location, some staff are really rude, I’ll never come to this location again.
Update, a day later my toes are still numb and throbbing, Dr Mirich is the one who performed the injections, future clients if you get him for this procedure, requests somebody else !

Walked in today (3÷11÷2015) at 4:29pm to get my daughter a chest xray, she has pneumonia, only to be told that they refused to see us because they don’t take new walk-​ins past 4:30pm and there are already 3 people ahead of me. I have been to SDMI MANY time and have never been treated so poorly.

This location was amazing. The staff was kind and professional. I was seen in a timely matter and the ultrasound technician was very kind and compassionate. I took my 3 week old baby for an ultrasound and they were very understanding of the baby’s needs when it came to feeding and getting me in quick. The front office girl, which I did not catch her name, was awesome! Will definitely go back to this location.

The staff is friendly and efficient, and for that I gave a star. I cannot award a higher rating because I find it extremely degrading that ultrasound patients have to disrobe and wait in a waiting area in hospital gowns, rather than just change in the ultrasound room.
Having a pelvic ultrasound is already unnerving and embarrassing. I would gladly give a higher star rating if I was allowed to keep a shred of dignity. As I mentioned, the staff is excellent, it’s this changing policy that needs to go.
