History

Established in 2009.

In 2003, I turned to acupuncture to address food allergies and pain that were making my life miserable. Within weeks I was able to enjoy eating again.

I decided to learn acupuncture to bring healing to others. I trained at Tai Sophia Institute in Columbia, Maryland where the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of healing are integrated.

My husband was active duty Air Force for 22 years; we retired to Las Vegas. After 40 years of moving around (my dad was AF, too), this is where we are planting roots. It’s beautiful in Las Vegas; I love the mountains. I even like the heat… it’s SOO much better than the snow and ice!

I opened Spring Mountains Acupuncture in July 2009, after attending graduate school and practicing in Maryland.

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa M.

Business Owner

I chose to learn acupuncture after acupuncture cured food allergy and digestion issues.

Acupuncture is actually my second career; my original field is Japanese studies. I have worked in Japanese businesses, and run my own business as a Japanese-English translator in years gone by.

My passion in life is reading and teaching. I love helping others to see the possibilities that exist and the choices they have for choosing a better, happier lifestyle.

I also love cats, kids, and supporting rescue animal efforts. (We always choose rescue animals for pets).
