We offer affordable spay, neuter and vaccination services to the Las Vegas area. Our doctors and staff are the experts at spay & neuter procedures. We perform 6,000 procedures a year — no one else comes close!

We offer a walk-​in vaccine clinic and never charge an office/​exam fee. Because we don’t carry the financial demands of a full-​service hospital, we are able to offer services at reduced prices … so we pass on the savings to you!

– Surgeries start at just $ 40, and we have appointments 5 days a week (including Saturdays)

– $ 12 vaccines (includes free exam); Walk-​in clinic everyday except Wednesdays

History

Established in 2009.

The Spay & Neuter Center was opened by Melanie Brazil, DVM in 2009 to help with the overpopulation of pets in the Las Vegas valley. Dr. Brazil was in general practice in Las Vegas since 1989 and was well aware of the huge problem of unwanted pets in the valley due to overpopulation. The center was designed to offer surgeries at a low cost but still maintain the high standard of medical care that Dr. Brazil demands.

Dr. Taryn Griffith took the reins of the Spay & Neuter Center in January 2013. Dr. Griffith came from Southern California where she was in general practice for several years before moving to Las Vegas 5 years ago. She too has a passion for eliminating unnecessary euthanasia, and recognizes the the importance of offering a low cost spay and neuter solution to combat the pet overpopulation epidemic. Dr. Griffith has carried on the tradition of high standards of care and wants to continue to provide this service at an affordable price.

Business Owner

Taryn Griffith, DVM, a native of Michigan, graduated from Michigan State University. Following graduation, she moved to Lawdale, California to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. Then, she went on to study veterinary cardiology for 12 months before entering the workforce as a full time veterinarian. Dr. Griffith practiced general medicine in Southern California for several years before moving to Las Vegas in 2011.

Dr.Griffith’s hobbies include spending time with her family, playing sports, cooking, reading and enjoying time outdoors as much as possible. Dr. Griffith and her husband are happily raising 3 two-​legged children and 4 four-​legged children, so there is never a dull moment in their lives!

Dr. Griffith is extremely excited to join the Spay & Neuter Center of Southern Nevada team, offering the Las Vegas community much needed services in the fight against animal over-​population in the Valley.
