Smoothie King

I love the smoothies here! I usually get the Angel Food or Green Tea Tango with strawberries. Lately I’ve been getting their Dark Chocolate Mint and Dark Chocolate Strawberry because they are so addicting. They are also not that high in calories for small 20oz if you are concerned about that. The price and portion size is reasonable. I come here mostly on Wednesday’s because it’s $ 4 for 32oz. I’ve only experienced waiting for a long time once on a Wednesday around 1 – 2 PM several months ago. I haven’t had to wait too long recently and the service has been a lot better. The only problem I have is that the loyalty app scanner doesn’t really work. Most of the time the employees have to manually type in the number. Overall, good smoothies, portion, price, and service!

They have become much better about wait times & are way more friendly! Their smoothies are to die for & actually healthy… I recommend getting «Skinny» versions which remove the sugar & using GREEK yogurt…

To start with, there was a sign on the door automatically preparing you for a terrible customer service experience. It read, we apologize for the long waits you will incur because we are short staffed. Once I walked in, the owner and his 3 year old daughter were behind the counter. No hello, no personal interaction… just annoyed that a customer was actually in his dead store. I asked to pick the fruit to go in my drink but you cannot customize. You can only pick from the drinks on the wall. Save your time and money and go to tropical smoothie!

The smoothie was alright, they were kind of rude when my service dog came with me inside, i happened to not have my papers with me at the time, so the cashier had us wait outside while they served me and my four year old son.

My coworkers and I always come to this smoothie king we at least come three times maybe five times a week. Two of my coworkers had a BOGO coupon. We were very busy at are office today so I chose to come alone to place two separate orders for two separate sets co-​workers. The gentleman told me even if it is two separate orders I can not use them. I told him I’m placing orders for my coworkers. We are really busy, that no else was able to come with me. He said oh well I can’t do it.
Well I can’t continue my business with you then. I also will be calling corporate.
You just lost quite a few loyal customers!

I went on a Wednesday ($ 4 med. smoothies). The guy at the register overcharged me (he noticed it before giving me the receipt). He proceeded to correct it, and now I realised that instead of putting the money back on my debit card, he charged me AGAIN, an additional $ 14. So instead of paying $ 10 for two smoothies, I end up paying almost $ 25. Thank you.

I usually make my own smoothies I stopped in there because I hadn’t gone to the grocery store just yet and was starving because I had a hang over. I got the peanut butter and banana smoothie, the guy working there suggested adding strawberry and said it tasted like a pb&j! Omg I was in heaven. He talked me into adding the engery boost which was much needed and no more hangover! I got the small which lasted me for two meals. Need to go back soon!

Vegan smoothies are tasty, oversized portionsgood and healthy for the whole family.

Weird system to order/​pay, merchandise that isn’t priced, long waits, and tacky signs put up by management. Went with a small group from work, seeking a liquid lunch– we were there over half an hour waiting for our beverages.
Walk in to back counter to place order, but menu behind cashier is incomplete. Once you order, you get a receipt but don’t pay until your drink is ready at the other register.
You have plenty of time to read the weird signage posted by management: all hand-​made and just slightly alarming or unprofessional: references to a recent «increase in a pricing scam» leading them charge what product rings up in system regardless of what it is marked (the products I picked up weren’t marked at all), typical right to refuse service signage but accompanied by an additional page saying to take issues up with management NOT STAFF (?), etc.
The product you finally receive? Meh, sub par, IMO. All fruit is fake tasting and either frozen or nearly so, giving everything the same slushy-​like texture and the use of more juices and yogurt fillers than actual produce lends an artificial flavor to the beverages– not to mention, if you add a booster it usually tastes chalky or gritty.
Not sure why this place is in business– can’t seem to decide if it’s a nutrition supplement store or a smoothie shack, but attempts to work Greek yogurt and juicing into the menu are optimistic but product needs work.

Its no bad. Service is fast mostly good shakes I had bad ones few times but mostly good. Especially for the price you paying.

I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately. I tried this place for the first time last week and really liked it. The service was good, the smoothies were really good. The Acai enegy along with peanut butter strawberry protein hit the spot after workouts.

Smoothie king has several smoothie options divided in 7 categories. Greek yogurt, trim up, stay healthy, get energy, step up and indulge. They also have some vitamins and supplements available on site. I like the fact that they have several options, but the wait was not worth it. They only have one person working and when more than 3 people come it may take a while to get your order ready. Overall, it’s a decent place but there is nothing special.

We decided to change our way of eating a month ago, and are currently on a carb cycling diet. Decided to treat ourselves on the weekend, and include a high protein smoothie as our snack. we are loving the Gladiator with vanilla protein powder with banana and raspberry. we look forward to our smoothie each weekend. Great taste.

Love this place. Good smoothies with healthy ingredients. You can even call your smoothie in ahead of arrival on the phone. Favorite is the Peanut Power Chocolate Plus right after a workout.

My drink was fantastic and more like a meal-​very filling. $ 8 for a medium drink is a little rough but I probably don’t need to eat dinner now so I guess that works out. My drink was prepared fast and the clerk was nice. I’ll come back!

The smoothie was good but the service was very sub par.
I asked the lady if they served food and without saying a word she pointed to the protein bars.
I then decided to order a fruit smoothie and asked what an acai was. She said its a fruit and then total silence. No kidding.

Smoothie King’s founder is supposed to have invented the smoothies. I am a naturally skeptical individual when it comes to claims like that, so I highly doubt he was the first guy to blend up fruits into purees for sale in the 1930s or worked at Waring (blender manufacturer) in the 1940s and contributed to their blender cookbook that contained recipes for a «banana smoothie» and a «pineapple smoothie.»
Debunking highly doubtful invention claims aside, I must say that after trying two large 40 oz smoothies off their menu (Mangosteen Madness and Passion Passport) I at least can agree that the recipes for those smoothies are good! Mangosteen Madness is definitely worth coming back here for, since who really has access to fresh mangosteen at an affordable price for DIY smoothies at home in Las Vegas.
As this was my first visit to any Smoothie King, the ordering process was a wee bit daunting for me. There are literally 55 smoothies you can potentially order, not to mention the 11 Enhancers that can be added. But the staff was friendly and gave me time to look over the menu on the wall and offered to provide recommendations if I needed it, and I essentially ordered what caught my eyes first. Mangosteen. Passion.
Then you are asked to pick up and pay for your order at the end of the counter (near the entrance). The wait time was minimal from the time I placed my order to when I picked it up, so it is perfect for those with places to go and people to see.
The only thing I wished they did on my visit was put the 2 large beverages in a to go holder, as the car’s cup holder can handle one but not two of these oversized beverages.
Price for the large 40 oz smoothie without any add-​ons was $ 8.75 after tax. I can’t say if that is expensive or not, as I have not been to a Jumba Juice or other competitors in years and have nothing to compare it to. But in the yumminess department, it was good (Passion Passport) to really good (Mangosteen Madness).
Will I be back. Sure!

Amazing smoothies and great workers. In fact, I was super excited when this place opened because it reminds me of back home, St. Louis. Smoothie King is my hangout in St. Louis, so whenever I miss St. Louis, I simply get a smoothie from Smoothie King! Plus, for you fellow gym rats, the gladiator makes a great meal replacement: Healthy, yummy treat before or after the gym!
