History

Established in 2009.

WHASN was created with the idea that by combining the resources, skills, techniques and knowledge of multiple physicians it would be able to provide better care for the women of southern Nevada. Since its inception, WHASN has grown to more than 50 providers at 20 care center locations throughout the valley.

I have never actually met Dr. Sheldon. But his PA Dr. Page is amazing. She has been helping me through postpartum depression for almost a year now. I have done a complete turn around from where I was before. And it’s all thanks to her. She doesn’t make you feel dumb. But is up front and to the point. I feel like a blessing for coming across this office when I was going through my hard times. It really was just the luck of the draw. The only thing I don’t like about coming here is the front desk staff. They are all rude. But I just deal with it for the short interaction I have with them. And go about my business.

How come every single time I call nobody answers the phone?! For three days now! I even leave voice mails and nobody returns my call! How unprofessional! You guys are being paid to answer the phone, yet nobody cares. And I know this for a fact because I came in as a walk in and I’m sitting there waiting to be seen I see the phones ringing and the girls just sitting there keeps ringing and ringing and ringing nobody bothers to answer the phone. it’s frustrating. About a year ago this place was very nice. Now with this irritating phone issue, where instead of calling to find out results I have to drive there just to get an answer.

Great doctor, very personable. Had IUD placed –almost was going to need outpatient procedure to accomplish but due to his high skill level this was avoided. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Paul Sheldons office never has enough parking so you might have to park in front of ghetto boarded up houses. I’ve come here multiple times and never was able to park in the parking lot. The waiting area is big and has plenty of seating. They take your picture when you come here for the first time so I thought it was a bit odd. They are good at scheduling you but not the best at rescheduling. They have a couple of TVs but they are very small and in bad positions so you cannot see them. This is a dual office so you will be co-​mingled with other patients seeing another doctor so make sure you go to the right desk. The receptionists are very nice.

This doctor can’t be trusted. He accumulates unauthorized by the patient charges/​procedures. Money is his main motivation. I’d say he’s a butcher, he’ll do well working in the Vallarta’s carniceria cutting meat, but not with humans.

I’m here waiting to see Dr. Paul for my 2 week post-​op hysterectomy appointment and thought it would be a good time to write a review about the doctor and his practice.
The office is conveniently located behind Valley Hospital so it’s easy to get to and the office is spacious with soothing décor and a very efficient staff.
Dr. Paul is by far the absolute best doctor I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few over the years as I’ve had four children and some various gynecologic issues. I’ve never been so comfortable or confident in a doctor and his abilities as I am with Dr. Sheldon Paul.
He performed my hysterectomy two weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience as well as the results. He was very thorough in explaining to me and my husband exactly what to expect from the surgery as well as post surgery. He even gave us his cell phone number prior to surgery in case my bleeding got to be too heavy or I had any other concerns.
All in all this doctor and his entire staff here are the cream of the crop. I will never go anywhere else for my gynecologic needs and I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new doctor.
