Timothy Perozek, MD is a Board-​Certified Ophthalmologist who is in his 8th year in private practice. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, where he majored in Philosophy and Pre-​Med, the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, OH where he was a recipient of many awards, as well as the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute in Denver, CO, where he served as chief ophthalmology resident his last year. He was the first Las Vegas physician to implant Alcon’s Toric Intraocular Lens and is a clinical faculty member at Touro University. He is also the co-​author for the online textbook chapter «LASIK» on eMed​i​cine​.com. His new ophthalmology practice See Right Now With TImothy Perozek, MD is located in the medical office building on the campus of the Summerlin Hospital. Dr. Perozek is also the official ophthalmologist of the Las Vegas 51’s baseball team. He is happily married to his grade school sweetheart Karin.

I couldn’t believe the service I received at SRN. It was unbelievable. Every time I go there, they make me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I don’t ever feel nervous. I will totally recommend SRN to others.

Do not go to this doctor if you have a serious medical issue. He is impatient, rude, and arrogant. He referred to my diagnosis as a «thingy». He showed very minimal compassion and empathy and made me feel as though i had no idea what i was talking about and didnt care enough to try to understand what it was i needed. Instead his advice was to get a lawyer or get a new job because of my condition. Huge waste of time and money. Worst experience ive had.

For an office that deals with many patients that are elderly, the staff is insensitive and not helpful at all.
The doctor is a fine physician, but it appears that the entire staff is more concerned with looking hip and trendy… not professional.
The most annoying aspect of the office is the VERY LOUD MUSIC playing, making it difficult to converse with the doctor and technicians during the exam.
Doctor’s visits are stressful enough without the anxiety of blaring music compounding the ordeal. Lower volume, soothing music would be welcome.
It is obvious that this office is attempting to market itself to a young audience. Young people will love it… older patients… not so much!

I have been bringing my family here for a few years. The office is nice, the staff friendly.
I like the fact that you don’t get the hard sell on glasses from them. I am pretty easy on my hardware so I try to save some money and just reuse my frames and they have never pressured me to buy the frames from them.
I prefer to see an Opthamologist compared to an optometrist as some eye issues run in my family and if I am going to pay the same amount for an exam I would rather have a comprehensive exam done by Dr. Perozek.
Dr. Perozek is also a «nice» doctor. I see plenty of them and their bedside manner sometimes is quite lacking. Dr. P has never left me feeling like I was just another dollar on his table and spent time explaining options with some eye issues that I have.
His staff is also very friendly and remember my kids and I each year when we come in. They are also sensitive to the fact that I hate eye exams as much as dental work and have always been patient with me (I hate the machines, the lights, and the puffer with a passion) I have had in the past at an optometrist a tech get upset with me because I couldn’t handle being in the device and they tried to hold my head in place. Needless to say I left and never went back. This office however has made my yearly exam a breeze and I don’t fear getting in the chair for the exam.

Lowering to one star… Called to get my prescription to order contacts, they sent me the wrong one so the company I ordered from delayed the order to confirm. Had to call again and talk to two different people to figure out they gave me the wrong prescription– they didn’t even apologize, just tried to make an excuse. Never coming back here and definitely don’t recommend.

I paid $ 180 upfront and gotten a bill for New Patient deductible? I’ve been on the same insurance and they come up with very creative ways to bill you. When I got the bill for the first time, it says its already late for 90 – 120 days… Don’t got this place if you don’t want to get bad credit.

Dr. Perozek is my family trusted eye Doctor for years. Highly knowledgeable and straightforward. Real expert in his field and always carrying. His stuff delivers with great professionalism and always polite. They always accommodate our busy schedule. We can’t wait to see them again. Highly recommend this office to everyone.

I came here after not seeing an eye doc for almost 14 years eeek! 1. I didn’t get a lecturing about that! Bonus points. They were very through and Dr. Perozek took time to answer my questions about a very scary possible diagnosis. In the medical field myself I can tend to ask a lot of questions and I never felt rushed with him. I would say the only downside is they have a relatively small selection of glasses, 1⁄5 or so being sunglasses (which were all on special, $ 100 off!!). All in all I liked the office, minimal wait times, and service I got.

This Dr. Perozek was rude, curt, unfriendly and extremely arrogant. I would never go nor will I recommend this doctor to anyone. My husband and I left his office in disbelief. He made comments about us to his assistant and we are sitting right beside him. I eventually had to say something to him. Ugh. I’m still shocked. I wish I could give him zero stars. Plus front staff person was rude. Ugh.

Having lived in Las Vegas my whole life, I can honestly say Dr. Perozek is one of the best eye doctors in town!
I have been considering LASIK surgery for a while now and a few other places I have been to weren’t that helpful in educating me about the process and what I could expect.
This Dr was super nice, he took his time explaining to me the whole process, and also answered all of my questions.
Overall, I felt comfortable and well taken care of.
As with any type of surgery, nothing is 100%, but in my case, everything turned out well and I’m happy to be seeing 20⁄20.
I’ve never felt so good being able to wake up in the morning without reaching for my glasses; I can play tennis, jog, and hike without wearing glasses anymore.

I visited this ophthalmologist’s office twice. When I returned with questions about my treatment plan, I feel like I was treated with hostility. The doctor even made a snide remark as he left the exam room with his assistant. To make matters worse, I had asked for my vision prescription as they had performed (and charged for) refraction, and I would have left the office without it had I not demanded at the receptionist that I receive it before paying.
My overall experience is that this doctor is more interested in shuffling patients through the office and offering standard treatment plans. He is not there to deal with patients who are assertive or have questions, and in that case, the visit is over when he is finished with you, not when you are satisfied.

I’m new in town and was looking for an eye doctor. I asked around at a party I was invited to from a group of very nice people, a bunch of dentists and physicians with their spouses. One of them told me about this place, and from other people, who were also at the party. After talking to them and hearing their experiences. I was comfortable in making an appointment to the office, Lucky for me it was in my insurance network.
I was very pleased, everyone there were pleasant and professional. The doctor was caring in explaining self care for my eyes. I thought I hate glases but the person who helped me, was patience in assisting me select a beautiful frame that was best for my features and met my comfort need. I was very happy with the services and many frames selection to choose from, I actually had fun there. I have my eyes on some ‘cool’ shades that I’m coming back there soon.
Yes, I definitely would prefer this place to friends.

Soooo. I’m back this year for my yearly checkup. I love coming here because the staff is so pleasant and there’s always some cool loungy music playing that makes you forget you’re at the doctors office. Not to mention visiting with my favorite doctor. They’re having a sale on sunglasses…$ 100 off!!! Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone and get my husbands valentines gift while I’m here. Found some cool Pradas he would love. Also found some trendy readers my mom needs to have. Much cuter than the ones she gets at Walgreen’s. I can’t seem to make up my mind on which glasses to get since they have all the latest styles and I love them equally… such a dilemma! If any of you need great eye care and one of a kind glasses this is the place to come!

If I was going blind and this was the only place that could help, I would say, «Seeing is overrated.»
I am surprised this doctor can wear glasses, because he doesn’t use his ears. Well that maybe the only thing they are good for is to hold up his glasses because he doesn’t use them to listen to his patients.

This my eye doctor! I’ve seen him annually now for a few years, refered by my primary doctor. The office is convientant and close enough to my house, so when they put the drops in to dilate, I don’t have that far to drive home, although I get a complinary disposable shades to slip in my glasses to help protect my eyes on the drive home.
From the reminder postcard they send me to tell me it’s time to set up my appointment, to the office staff, everyone is really friendly and helpful.
Today, my appointment was quick, I walked in, signed in sat down and was called back right away, after the eye exam for my prescription, I got eye pressure checked and then dilation. I sat back down in the waiting area, cracked open my book to start reading and didn’t get far before I was called back in for the doctor to do the vascular exam! Everything was good. I come back in a year, so from start to finish, I was there a total of 25 minutes! Great job everyone!

Watch their billing department ! They will try to double bill your insurance and then send you to collections after they have already been paid. They claim it’s not their fault, but they don’t know how to correct it ! Go somewhere else !

I’ve been seeing Dr. Perozek for a few years and have been completely satisfied. I remember that on my first visit I was a bit apprehensive: the office décor seemed a bit too slick, and the eyeglass frames very upscale. I was prepared then for the hard sell. I can truly say this has never happened even once.
I have found Dr. Perozek to be extremely competent and knowledgeable, not an alarmist or money-​grubber, and I never have to wait long to be seen. He employs a competent support staff who do some of the initial procedures, but always is there for the final tests and evaluation. I always get a thorough exam. I have some on-​going eye problems, so I’ve been seeing him twice a year. He has made referrals, but is not pushy about them. He presents pros and cons then leaves the decision-​making to me.
Another bonus is that I don’t have to wait long to get an appointment, nor do I get to complete a round of Words With Friends before I’m called in for my visit!
