Sassy City Chicks Holiday Fashion Bash

My friend Susan D. who was my guest for the Herbs and Rye elite event some time ago and I enjoyed a VIP experience at the Holiday Fashion Bash in UNLV’s Marjorie Barrick Museum! Courtesy of Misti Y. and Unilocal,I received 2 free VIP tickets for my «best gift ever» entry on the event page, and we both got gift bags upon entry filled with goodies like softlips chapstick (feeding my obsession…)! We started off with samples of Qream Liquer — peach crème and strawberry crème. Strawberry was my fave. We also got free compacts with the Qream logo.
Then, we toured the museum (Susan is a history buff so she enjoys museums) while browsing booths for clothes, jewelry, shoes, candles, and more. We signed up for 5 minute massages and ran into Debbie N. and Regina P. Next to the massage station, Box was waxing nostrils (did not partake in that!) and apparently even doing brazilians! In the middle of a museum! That probably has cameras?! Then, 9037 salon had 3 chairs and a wall of Morroccan Oil products. My stylist Leilani gave me beautiful waves and made me feel special! She also taught me how to make beach-​y waves in my hair. I sent a picture to my parents, and Eric R. somehow noticed the difference in his benadryl haze when I got home later. Meanwhile, Susan had her normally straight and layered locks curled as well. She looked great! 9037 gave us the chance to get our first visit to the salon at 50% off! We tipped out stylists for their time!
We went back to get massages in between hair appointments, with Regina P. and Debbie N. Debbie’s hair looked amazing after she had it styled! Also, Pinnacle Vodka had a booth there and the cocktails were STRONG and dangerous — because they were so easy to drink! They had gummy, whipped cream, and cake batter vodkas. I got a plastic martini glass with pineapple upside cake (cake batter vodka and pineapple juice) and Susan had the creamsicle (whipped cream vodka and orange juice). MMMMmmmm!
The event was really fun, and to top it off, there were like 6 six food trucks outside and hardly anyone in sight — no lines! I got the dragon balls (fried spicy tuna balls) from Haulin’ Balls and a matcha smoothie from Grouchy John’s. If I had not eaten so much at the UNLV staff party right before all of this, I may have been able to try more :) Thanks Misti Y. for a fun ‘girlie’ experience!
