S.P.O.R.T.S. Physical Therapy

So I wanted to write a review about dr. tessa this is my 2^nd time here. and I’m here because I have back problems and I’m always in pain but I must say she’s great, very nice with a cute personality. her assistant is awesome as well! I never in my life been excited to go to a doctors office until now. lol every week I’m like I can’t wait to go sports therapy she makes me feel so much better! working 2 jobs gets tiring so coming to relieve some of that tension is so great! Thank You S.p.o.r.t.s therapy your staff is really nice you guys do a great job here

I have been treated at SPORTS by various therapists over more than 15 years for injuries, post op care and myofascial issues and have always had a great experience. SPORTS has given me relief from pain and helped me recover from muscle issues when NUMEROUS other physical therapy places and specialists have failed. From the front staff to the therapists to the faculty itself to the office managers this is a top notch business. These folks are true healers and the patient is truly their only interest Your health is your wealth — trust SPORTS with it and no one else !

I found SPORTS after contacting four other PT centers. They kept telling me I needed a pulmonary therapist. My daughter recommended SPORTS, I called and spoke with Marisia. She took the time to listen to my unique story. She then said, let me talk to one of the Dr’s. Dr. Jimmy P called me back and understood what I needed. He said come in during my lunch and let’s talk and see whats up. He said we can figure something out and developed a program for me. The uniqueness of my case is, I had my diaphragm paralyzed from a nerve block injection during rotator cuff surgery. Subsequently, I had a phrenic nerve transplant done by the only surgeon in the world to do them (in NY). Luckily surgery was a success and I began to breath in my right lung. I had to find a PT who could rehab my diaphragm muscle, not my lungs. Dr. Jimmy P. got it when four others in LV didn’t. It was the first time he saw such a case and he and Ashley developed a program that was awesome! Ashley was great and always attentive. Dr. Jimmy was very interested in my case because it was new and he had never seen anything like it. I have recommended Jimmy to the surgeon as Jimmy is the only one on the west coast who I found that developed this program for me, and hopefully for others. I am not 100% and maybe never will be, but Jimmy and Ashley did what no one else in LV could do, they got me breathing again. Thanks to everyone at SPORTS, a great team!

Great Team, they truly care about your progress and getting you healed. I worked with Tessa, Tiffany and their assistants, Thomas and Joe, with Michelle overseeing my Pilates therapy. They were sure to communicate with one another so my therapy was consistent and thorough. The front desk is professional and friendly. I highly recommend going to S.P.O.R.T.S, you will be well cared for..

I’ve been coming here for a couple months due to shoulder sugery. The team, Doc P (my nickname for Dr. Jimmy Pajuheshfar) and Ashley, are both awesome to work with. And Aubrey at the front desk always makes my visits welcoming. I have improved greatly since being here, and look forward to a full recovery.

I’ve been visiting the Dean Martin location for 6 months now, mainly for boot camps. The trainers are absolutely amazing. They don’t overload their boot camp classes, so it really feels like you are getting one-​on-​one personal training sessions. The atmosphere is so far from the pretentiousness you see at other gyms. Everyone is there for the same reason. And everyone helps and pushes each other.
The physical therapy trainers are also fantastic. Very attentive and knowledgeable.
This is the best therapy & training facility I’ve ever been to.

i’ve been coming here for a few months now for my knee injury. Jimmy is my therapist and i must say i am being treated with utmost professionalism. Jimmy and his team put together a treatment program for me that includes chiropractic adjustments, rubbing out scar tissues, ice/​heat therapy, stretchings, exercises, pilates, etc.
most places i went to before i came here would just give me an adjustment, strap me up to electrical stim and call it a day. but not here. an average session here takes about 2 hours because Jimmy and his team really takes the time to understand the nature of my injuries and tailored a treatment program that suits my needs.
i highly recommend this place to anyone with injuries/​aches/​pain. these guys are fantastic!

I have been coming to SPORTS for many years, and have been treated for many different reasons. I have had a chance to work with most the the therapist here and I can honestly say that they are amazing. Jimmy and Tessa are the two that I have worked the closest with and they have pushed me to make me better and stronger. I would definitely recommend that you come here. They actually care that you get better and want you to succeed.

Therapists here are great. The owner Scott is a piece of work. I went there for a long time and he never once acknowledged me. What kind of businessman never says hello to his customers? I had PT for 9 months there. Fortunately, the people who helped me made it a positive experience.

As far as a PT place it is the same as any other. They try to run as many people with the same trainers at the same time, so personal attention is MEH.
However the real nightmare is their billing system. I got PT services there 16 months ago, and just got a whopper of a bill. No communications in between, services ended and then a bill 16 months later. Then try to talk to billing and you are going to be waiting at least 20 minutes.
I would not use them again, too much pain after all the physical pain went away!

Tessa and Thomas are a great team here. My wife and I come here. I played football in college and I can feel it. I did not know you do not need a prescription for therapy. Listen to your body and my body says this is good for me. Great job team! Thank you

If you need physical therapy, you probably won’t be happy to have to come here. The therapy is an investment in yourself, your future and that matters so find a place that cares about you and your future. Initially I was put off by the sports memorabilia. I’m no athlete and the «feel» of the office, initially, is that this is a place for athletes. I met the Doctor, Jimmy P. He took the time to ask about the injury and subsequent surgery. He explained the anatomy involved and the treatment I could expect. He was kind, caring and compassionate which was appreciated. I won’t tell you that the treatment was always comfortable, but he does monitor your discomfort and work at the highest level he can while staying below your threshold. He is a DOCTOR but he won’t seem like one. You are conditioned to expect and accept a man or woman who is late to see you, obviously hurried and distracted because they are spread too thin. Your experience here will be a real and welcome departure from your typical doctors appointment. He will be on time, you won’t be ushered into a room and left to wait. He will ask questions, examine your injury and begin to work. The conversation will be a mix between casual and professional, but he will be fully engaged with you throughout your visit. I felt like he genuinely cared about my injury and my future.
The rest of the staff is friendly and engaging. The facility and equipment is clean and very professional. The parking lot sucks, but what can you do? A stand alone building is probably prohibitively expensive.
They made contact with my insurance company and handled all of those details.

I have been coming here for rehab for 6 months. The facility is clean. Jimmy P., the physical therapist, really cares and the techs are good too. I have been to quite a few different physical therapy places over the years and this is by far, the best one. SPORTS Therapy isn’t cheap, but it was worth going outside my regular plan provider. I would recommend it to anyone needing PT who is willing to work hard.

Scott is a as fabulous as they come. He has help my entire family out with their aches and pains. I would recommend highly him. Kim his office manager is another story. Be really careful what you say to her and put everything in writing. We were told that it is best to pay cash for all of our visits which we did however she decided that since we filled out all the paperwork with insurance that she would double dip. There is other words for this «Fraud» so now she is trying to scam us out of money. She told us that she made a mistake but is not going to do anything about it. Thank God for lawyers.
