I LOVE this store! I will never buy shoes anywhere else! I’m sad that I didn’t go to Red Rock Running Co. sooner. This was the best experience shopping for running shoes. They had me run on a treadmill, then showed me the video. They picked out at least 10 sets of running shoes, let me run outside with them until I found the perfect shoes. The prices were just as good as online, but with the added benefit of being able to run in them, before you buy them. I recommend this store for everyone. Running a 15k next month and a half marathon in March. Thanks Red Rock Running Co!!!

Great company, great people. Product selection includes shoes, clothes, accessories, and gels for runners, and a few Garmin mapping/​HRM watches. Even though shoe selection is somewhat limited, brands are carefully selected and you get one-​on-​one attention when looking for footwear– they even have a treadmill set up with a video camera to analyze your gait and ensure you are looking at shoes that best meet your feet’s needs.
But this place is so much more than a store, they’re a part of the fitness community. They allow running groups to use their store for packet pickup and advertise for upcoming runs all across the state. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Like I said: great company, great people.

Buyers beware, they have a no return policy. Only exchanges or store credit! Seems like a terrible way to do business. I’ll never shop there again, after I spend my $ 120 in store credit that is.

This is an amazing place to get some running shoes.
The staff was very helpful. They have a treadmill set up with a camcorder that will record how you run. The staff will review the tape right there and let you know if you have some common issues running (turning your ankle in too much etc) and suggest the type of support you’ll need.
They will pick out different shoes and let you run around with them for a bit. There was never a moment where they pressured me to buy anything or try to rush our purchase.
Never bought a proper pair of running shoes but I can tell that these are much better than the Nike outlet store running shoes I’m used to buying. I used to get overwhelmed about the thought of purchasing the proper running shoes for my feet, but this place made the process very easy. When I need a new pair of running shoes, I will be back.

I have been a very casual runner for a while, but then I did this silly thing where I signed up for a triathlon. So now I am running and training on a consistent basis, so I decided to grab some shoes that would help me avoid injury. I always used to just go into a Big 5 and buy whatever running shoe had awesome colors and was on sale. I admit my past mistakes, but I am here now to atone, right?
Popped in on a Saturday morning and I was instantly greeted. The young lady helped me figure out what type of shoe I should be looking for depending on how much I am running. I had my feet analyzed on the treadmill and then it was off to find some running shoes. She had me try on several different pairs, discussed the pros and cons, and had me run around in them. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite.
I left with a pair of Saucony’s and I am quite pleased with them. She suggested that I run on an indoor track with them in the next 10 days as I could exchange them within that time frame if needed. But since we were pretty exhaustive in finding a solid pair of shoes, I have had some of the best runs in a while in my new shoes.

We won’t make this mistake again, thought just maybe they would be something like the Road Runner shops in California. Wow was I wrong, they are just about what is your size, here you go, and give me your money. I really thought there would be some sort of dialogue to discover my weekly mileage, what was I wearing before.something. Oh well, I will now spend the money to drive to California and go back to Road Runner, long drive but worth it for properly fitted shoes. Honestly the shoes determine just how much mileage I can stand anymore.

Just bought a pair of running shoes from them today! I was greeted promptly by a friendly and very knowledgable associate who custom fit me for my shoe and stuck with me till I found the perfect fit! It was a great experience and I will definitely buy my running gear from them from now on! They have a wide selection of necessary and useful running gear in a clean and orderly store. Love them!

My family and I went to Red Rock Running to get fitted for new shoes. None of us has ever owned high quality athletic shoes like this before so we had no idea what we were even looking for. Hailey helped us. She took the time to analyze our running on a treadmill and reviewed what she saw with us. She also consulted with her coworker, Pete, for a second opinion for one of us. With the help of Hailey and Pete, we must have tried on 15 different shoes until we found the perfect ones for each of us. They were both extremely friendly, knowledgable and patient. We will definitely come back for future purchases!

Ordered some New Balance shoes. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Had been planning to go into the store for quite some time, as they are so close-​by. I would give them 5 stars, but the shoes took two weeks to come in, and were not the color I ordered. A discount was offered, but I said no since they had already given me a Unilocal discount. I didn’t want them to lose money over what I believe was an honest error. I will be a repeat customer.

As cliché as it sounds, I don’t write reviews for anything, anyone or any place; except for shoes from Josh C. at Red Rock Running Company. This place is not only a great outlet for beginners to get advice on shoes but also for veteran runners (my wife) to try on some shoes she would have never thought she would like. The store is very clean and welcoming unlike some specialty sports stores that seem too targeted and intimidating.
I *hate* being helped in stores. It’s not the associate’s fault, it’s just my personality, but Josh was extremely helpful. When we first told him we were just looking he respected that and let us wander around the store. I then asked if they had any Alta’s (that’s what we originally came there for) and he told me that they didn’t have any in stock but would be getting some on the 15^th. As we were about to leave I asked if they knew for sure that they would have the Alta’s in stock on that day (side not: Alta has been sketchy on shipping so he wasn’t quite sure).
After that, he asked me what I ran in now and if I was working towards a particular goal or distance. He took my answers and came up with a running solution to a problem I didn’t even know I had. He recommended a brand called Hoka and let me go outside and do a couple laps to get a feel for them.
Bottom line: This store was built for helping people. Not just runners, not just marathoners, but everyone. Even the half mile walkers wearing $ 79 yoga pants from Victoria Secret.

I’ve been going to Red Rock for a couple years now. Josh and crew never let me down. They give personal one-​on-​one attention and take their time with every customer. From custom fitting your shoes to your feet to video taping the type runner you are on their treadmill. They are top notch! Over my last few deployments, needs have arisen for running or sportswear for me. Josh comes through every time. I have asked in the past to cover shipping. He picks up the tab! AWESOME customer service!

The perfect running shoe is SO important for runners. Stylish running shoes are just as important for girls who run. Well… that was a big fat generalization. Let me rephrase that. The right shoes that are stylish – crucial for this gal right here. Yup. Sure is. It is vital to my training regimen.
I decided I wanted to run another half marathon and I wanted a new pair of stylish shoes to kick off my new fitness program and make it official. Unilocaled pointed me here and shoe hunting I went.
A solid running store will offer a gait analysis (where the observe your running technique/​biomechanics of your gait) and check out the wear pattern on your current running shoes (if you have em’). Red Rock Running Company offers both of these items and the employee (Josh) that helped us out was a runner himself. The service here is enough reason to come here to purchase your next pair of kicks. Josh helped us out and was very knowledgeable about the merchandise and shoes that were sold in the store. He listened to what we were looking for and shared his recommendations with us. He even pointed us in the right direction when they didn’t have the shoes we originally came here to purchase (buh bye Mizunos — Hello Brooks and Adidas).
We (fiancé and I) sampled 2 – 3 pairs of running shoes a piece. I had ballet flats on from work and he even provided me with a pair of running socks to take the shoes for a ride. I had to get some new running shoes as my old ones were causing pain in my calves. not knowing too much about the mechanics of how my shoe and my specific gait really need to work hand in hand, I was amazed at the set up they have here and how that helps the sales person, Josh, was able to get me in the best shoe possible for my style.
his knowledge was very impressive, he was patient, and informative and gave me options. He had me on the treadmill at the store and was recording my run to show me how «I Run»… and then gave me the best options that fit me needs.

Why would someone go to Red Rock running and pay more for a pair of running shoes than they would online or at a big chain? Maybe because they’re looking for quality service and personalized help in picking the right shoe. At least that’s why I usually choose a mom and pop shop to buy my shoes but apparently Red Rock Running only offers the higher price tag, not the quality service. I have terrible feet but I love to run. I’m forever in search of a great pair of shoes and was hoping to maybe find a pair with some help from an associate at this place. However after a two second evaluation and getting a handful of shoe brands shoved in my arms with the explanation that «they’re all the same» it became clear I wouldn’t have any help on that end. They have a wide variety of shoes so maybe if they figure out how to provide customer service they will be worth a second visit.

I’ve always loved this store for getting a great running shoe and they keep delivering on my expectations. Mabel was great for helping find myself and my boyfriend shoes at the same time. I went through 6 or 7 shoes before we were satisfied with the ones I liked. Then when Mabel brought out ones I liked she made extra sure of the fit and comfort level. She was super attentive and customer focused and would have kept bringing out different shoes until we found some. My boyfriend went through about 5 shoes and ended up buying the second pair but she was sure to bring out comparisons and make 100% sure he loved that second pair.
Fantastic store, if you are looking for exceptional customer service and to spend a little time and care on finding a new running shoe this is the place to go!

Great store for anyone who runs. They carry brands that specialize in running shoes (instead of Nike, Reebok, etc). The sales associate Bethany was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. She watched me run and made shoe recommendations. I am very happy with the pair I bought.

I had a wonderful experience!
I went wanting a pair of running sneaks that I could put some miles on. I wanted something that I could be rough on and put high miles on my home treadmill and running road runs. I had no idea what style and don’t care about looks (all running shoes are ugly to me).
Josh greeted me and asked what brought me in and I explained that even though I own 1.2 million pairs of shoes and have that Z company family discount… I wanted to run a 5K before I allowed myself a new pair of actual running shoes I ran a 5K in Shox. Yep Shox. Now that’s determination :)
Yes I could have used my discount and ordered 15 pairs of random shoes and not know crap about what I was ordering… but then I might as well have continued to run in my old Nike, NB, Saucony… or even my Shox… :)
Josh gave me all the knowledge and more… I took pics of some other lighter shoes that I can always buy next and explained exactly what I need for long distance vs short runs or faster time runs.
I tried on several pairs of shoes and decided on some super comfy Adidas Energy Boost that I had read about the week before on Runner’s World. The new tech of this shoe is super impressive. Josh was actually demoing a pair and I’m super happy with them four days later and already over ten miles on them :)
Super happy and I would not hesitate to go back and buy another pair or two. Oh and I even FORGOT my 15% off check in discount LOL!

The only way to buy running/​walking shoes!
Red Rock Running Company is an awesome shoe store. When you walk in, you know everyone in the store knows their stuff. Everyone is way into running too. I am not really a runner (unless something big and ugly is chasing me), but I like having really good running/​walking shoes because it helps my back feel better during my daily activities. If something eases my back pain, I am all over it!
What really sets RRRC apart from the other athletic shoe stores is that they put you on a treadmill and record a video to see how your feet and ankles are working. You then watch the video with your sales person and they review it with you. From the info, they then decide what type of shoe you need to correct/​enhance what your feet are doing. The sales person even shows you how each pair of shoes are different and what the shoes are doing for your feet. When the sales person start bringing out shoes, they will have you try a different one on each foot to see which one you like. It is like when you are getting your eyes checked, «Do you like option #1 or #2? What about #2 or #3?» What a great concept! They don’t just have you walk in the store either, they have you go outside and test them around the building, so you can really test them out.
I don’t know why other athletic shoe stores don’t do these types of shoe testings. I think it is simply brilliant! I will always buy my running/​walking shoes here from now on. If you need some new sneakers, go try out Red Rock Running Company and find a super comfy pair of shoes for your feet!
