Been a customer of there’s since 2011. I was with Anderson Pest Control before these guys. Chris Lundeen had talked me into changing over to PPC guaranteeing me the product was way better. I haven’t seen one little critter crawling across the floor, walls, or ceilings. The product works!!!
They always give you a courtesy call the day before arrival. And if your not there for inside spray my guy will call and ask if it’s alright to enter the back yard and spray because he knows I have dogs. They have never left the gate open or let my dogs out!
We have even asked for them to comeback on a different day to spray the inside and have never been double charged.
I can’t discuss my pricing because I know Chris gave me the hook up and it has never changed over the years.

Hands down the best pest control in the valley signed up with them over 3 years ago. Kurt Shoemaker is the best technician friendly and professional we had a scorpion problem when we moved onto our new house we been using the same pest control as my previous residence with no result with one visit preventative had gotten the problem under control. If you want results use Preventative pest control and ask for Kurt Shoemaker

Signed up when we moved into our new home when we found a couple scorpions inside the house. Informed the pest control guy that was our main concern. They sprayed inside and outside. Found another scorpion a week and a half later, called and they said too soon to come back for one scorpion (one in the house is too many!) Another spray 1 ½ months later and let the tech know we were finding more scorpions in the back yard. He sprayed again. Over the next 30 days found two more inside the house and 4 – 7 outside nightly! When the office called to let us know they were coming for our next scheduled spray, I informed them of our problem. The girl was nice but just suggested they would bring some sticky pads for the entry areas and we should spray inside the house again. The spraying was not working outside at all and sticky pads were not going to keep out all the scorpions gathering in our back yard. Went to a new company. Had to pay 60% of contract to cancel. The first night after the new company we only found one scorpion in the back yard. They had several methods they used including spraying inside the walls. Feeling much better now.

Absolutely awesome! I’m always so impressed with the job they do! I even forget to unlock my back gate most of the time, and they jump it without hesitation! They’re super friendly guys and I never think twice about letting them into my home! I’ve been late on a few payments, and they’re always super accommodating. I pay $ 65 bi-​monthly and that rate has never increased! They were recommended to me by a friend and I recommend them to everyone I know! Dustin is our regular guy, and he’s awesome. The girls in the office are super friendly when I call, and if I ever need a re-​service because something clearly hatched, they come out the next day or the day after without question to do a re-​service (at no charge). I get 2 – 3 guys a month at my door offering deals for a new company and I always tell them who we are with and that we won’t leave them as long as we live in Vegas. So so happy with their service!

We’ve been customers alittle over 7 yrs. We’ve had different Route Managers, but my favorite is Kurt Shoemaker. He’s always on-​time, courteous and helpful. He always does a good spray inside and out, so much so the pest stay away. My experience with the ladies at the office has been great as well. Great service.

Preventative pest control is hands down amazing to work with. From the staff on the phones to the technicians that come out to the house they all have provided superior customer service. I recently had a situation with my parents dog and the groomer and vet weren’t sure if she had fleas or if it was something else. Preventative pest came out and grabbed a sample and tested it and found out it was canine lice and treated the house appropriately. Their products are also safe which is very important to me as I have a mom with a fragile immune system and a lot of allergies. Very happy I went with these guys after calling around to a lot of other companies that were not very willing to take time and listen. Bravo to your team.

We used them in our last three homes and I am always pleased. Our history has been tarantula nests under deck and hot tub; roaches and spider nests in yard, etc.
On a few occasion’s we have found a spider in home that wasn’t dead… we can always rely on them to come out within 24 hours and spray again no charge.
Yesterday we found a bark scorpion in our backyard… Freaked out, called them and they sent someone out tonight for a night scorpion removal. Corey our tech was very patient and allowed my husband to follow him through his process with the black light. He answered all our questions and we learned a lot. Scorpions take a looooong time to kill because their metabolism doesn’t allow them to die right away. The key is to work with the techs to understand, they will teach u how to spot the survivors and hunt at night.
I’m loyal when I find a good company that takes care of us… I recommend them!

I’ve been a customer for 9 years, quick convenient service and when extra service is needed between normal services, a free respray is performed. My technician is Kurt Shoemaker and he is reliable, professional and ensures I understand what is being applied and how it will prevent pests. Unless something unreal happens, I cannot imagine switching services ever. When in doubt, call this company first, and if you are in the northwest part of town, you’ll get the added benefit of having Kurt keep your pests away.

I would like to give a raving review to, Tevin! We’ve had Preventative for what seems like forever and never have I ever experienced such kindness and great detail. Usually when the pest tech shows up he’s in and out in 15 minutes doing the usual, a spray to the outside perimeter then the inside if I need it for that month.
Well today, I met our new tech, Tevin, who not only showed patience while I situated my FurBabies but he took time to answer all my questions (which I had several) and explained what exactly he was doing.
The reason why I was intrigued was because I witnessed him do 2 additional steps that I haven’t seen any of my other techs do and he took his time doing it carefully, making sure he addressed every part of my home inside and out.
This first encounter with, Tevin, is exactly why I’ve decided to stay with Preventative. I can only hope that other homeowners in my area get him as their tech and receive the same thorough, pleasant experience as me.

The negative reviews below seem to be from folks who have difficulties with the contract sales arrangement. I admit I dislike contracts or specified number of service calls, but that seems to be the current business model (i.e., cell phones, cable, snackboxes-​in-​the-​mail.)
I do indeed wish I could pay for each service as needed, (and my 4 star review is only because of the contract obligation) but I appreciate the option to suspend service during the winter months.
There has been no extermination service at my address for at least 6 years and it was high time (how long can you deal with black widows by smacking them with a flip flop?)
Service was very thorough, tech sprayed around planters, patio (covered cracks in patio edges) sprinkler boxes, in the garage and a wide path around the house. After the first treatment I saw dead bugs around the edges of things, and do believe they were fleeing the treatment. After the second treatment I have seen none at all!
I appreciate the courtesy and detail of both techs who have visited, Kurt Shoemaker explained the uses of varying concentrations of «bug dope» and reminded me to keep the pets inside. Curtis was also helpful and friendly, explaining the terms of the contract clearly. I am not so interested in chit chat, but reliable and quick service. Glad I found this company.

Kurt Shoemaker is excellent! He is quick, efficient, and safe. He gives us a reminder warning about the animals when necessary. He also remembers personal things about us and asks how we’re doing. We really like him.

When we decided to move to Henderson from the East Coast, I never took pests into account. That is so unlike me because I am a bug-​phobe. I realized shortly after moving here that my AC guy and my exterminator needed to be my best friends.
I haven’t found my dream AC guy yet but I have found my dream exterminator… Nic of Preventive Pest Control. He is friendly, approachable, and a professional who takes pride in a job well done. It’s been almost two years now and Nic has made sure my concerns are addressed and I can feel safe and secure in my home. Who could ask for more?
It’s good to know he is always only a phone call away but we really don’t need to bug him (pun intended) between service visits. He does an excellent job each and every visit.

I got reeled in by a tech who came to my door to sell me service. I just happened to be looking for a pest control company so it seemed convenient to sign up with the first spray being just $ 1. The tech was very polite and knowledgeable and told me that the initial spray would include the inside of the home, but the scheduled services would always be just on the perimeter of the home. he assured me that their chemical was so potent that the perimeter spray would prevent insects from coming inside my home. Since the signing of my contract in March, there has been a total of 4 sprays. There was the initial spray, a follow-​up spray because I was still seeing bugs in and around my home, then the first regular spray, after which, there were still insects in my home. The sent a tech out a little less than 2 weeks before my first scheduled spray of June as a courtesy. Two days ago, I received an email saying that I was up for my scheduled spray. I wanted to know why they would bother sending out a tech just 2 weeks after they sprayed my home and the customer service person kept telling me repeatedly that I was due for my scheduled spray. The next day, I found a roach in my house. After 4 sprays, I am still finding insects inside my home and am just not satisfied with this service. I have had more bugs in my home since signing the contract than I did without any pest control. Customer service has been unresponsive to me all day and my service is scheduled for tomorrow.
It isn’t the contract or techs I am unsatisfied with, it is the actual service.

I have been using this company for over 2 years and had no complaints. They are always very courteous and helpful whenever i talk to the techs and the office staff. I’m not sure why these others are leaving bad reviews, maybe it was the homeowners fault for not understanding their contract, who knows. They even came twice to remove a hornet nest in my backyard at no extra charge. Keep up the great work !!!

Tricking people of spraying your house for bugs, but it can cost you $ 600!!! Or a negative report on your credit score
This is the worst company when it comes to Pest Control nor customer service. One day one of their sales agents visited my home and they offered to spray my house for $ 1.00, I told him go ahead after I found out that I don’t have to sign any contracts. After I gave him $ 30 as a 1 dollar for the service and $ 29 of tip.
Month later I find them wondering around my back yard. I came out and I was about to call 911 I had no i idea who it was, because I don’t have any open gates. Found out the pest guy has jumped my fence, in which I told him to get OUT! And don’t ever come back. I should have called the police for trespassing my property!
Later I get an invoice from them telling me to pay a contract which was outrages $ 600. On which I never signed and contracts. They faked some signature and they are telling me that I am under contract. I called them back and they told me I have to pay when I told him I don’t.
Since then they have reported me to the collections agency, in which I am going to fight till the end.
This is awful how this company is conducting business in Las Vegas and screwing people. The only thing is to report this awful and manipulative company which they go around and trick people of spraying their house for bugs for free or a dollar.
