Dr. Lam and the staff are amazing! My husband and I are both patients here and have never had a negative experience. Each time I’ve had even a cleaning, it’s been «fun» because he actually engages you in conversation and cares about your well-​being. Appointment wait time is always quick, almost no wait at all. Very clean and tidy, lovely décor, and the receptionists are always so attentive and caring. Definitely would recommend this dentist to family and friends.

Dr. Lam is professional, talented and caring. I have lived in Las Vegas for over 25 years and have had extensive dental work performed, but had never achieved a beautiful smile. Dr. Lam gave me the smile that I’ve always wanted! He’s a superstar!!!

I randomly came across this doctors office about a year ago when my daughter was experiencing some discomfort. Immediately, I recognized why this office had 5 stars across the board. From the initial phone call and interaction with Jackie at the front desk, to the incredible bed side manner of Dr. Lam, this establishment exudes the epitome professionalism. Even my daughter expressed how she felt relaxed for the first time in a dentist’s chair.
So, fast forward to 2 months ago. I somehow cracked my tooth while eating. Without hesitation I contacted the office and they were able to see me immediately. I thought there would be a quick repair and I’d be on my way. I was soooo wrong. Considering the fact that I typically have nothing but horrible experiences with the dentist, I rarely keep up with my 6 month appointments. In fact, It has been years since I’ve been in for a cleaning. With that being said, upon reviewing the xray, he discovered that I needed not 1, but 2 root canals. I’ve had the displeasure of having this procedure done before. If my memory serves me correctly, it was one of the most painful ordeals I have endured. So naturally, I was dreading the entire process. Dr. Lam and Jackie reassured me that a root canal done by Dr. Lam is virtually painless. Skeptical about their confidence, I booked my appointment.
Due to my work schedule, in conjunction with my children’s schedules, I was forced to cancel and reschedule my appt. twice. Each time, they were incredibly accommodating. In fact, every time there was a cancelation they notified me in the attempt to get me in sooner. Finally, today was the big day. From start to finish it took 3 hours. Upon leaving the office I was swollen of course, but not in immense pain. Its now 7 hours after the procedure and I honestly don’t even feel like I had a root canal. Dr. Lam prescribed 2 medications for the pain to be taken as needed. Miraculously, I haven’t had to take one pill. This doctor is amazing!!! They were right. Considering the magnitude of the work I know he did, it really was virtually painless. Fantastic doctor and staff !!!

Dr. Lam, along with the staff, are amazing. The first time I went to him was last year when I had to get a root canal for a tooth I was ignoring for far too long. I haven’t been to a dentist in quite awhile and I knew I needed to go at this point. I made a call and got an appointment relatively quickly (within a week I believe). Like most, I greatly disliked going to the dentist as a kid — the sounds, the smell, everything. Dr. Lam is professional and personable and makes you feel comfortable. Before performing anything, they will talk over their suggested plan and cost analysis — no hidden fees. During the whole procedure, I wasn’t uncomfortable or in pain — though he prescribed me some painkills just in case. I was worried about going to work directly after the procedure, but I wasn’t in any pain whatsoever (slightly numb and swollen, but manageable). I’ve gone back to him two times since my root canal and have never been disappointed with treatment. Your mouth will appreciate the time you made to make the appointment.

I am a native of Las Vegas, and I can honestly say that this is the best dental experience I have ever had. I have a general aversion and phobias when it comes to going to the dentist, and would consider myself to be kind of a high maintenance patient. In other words, I’m not easy to please. I have been to the office 4 times so far. Once with my teenaged daughter, once for a cleaning, and twice for a 2 part procedure. This place is top notch and state of the art. The staff is professional and has personally gone above and beyond for me, and are very flexible with scheduling. The doctor is a perfectionist and he takes a conservative approach. He took his time with me and really made sure to address all of my questions and concerns. Believe me, I had a lot of them, and I didn’t feel he was rushing me. Dr. Lam and his staff made me feel completely at ease from start to finish, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Here is the kicker*** before consulting with Dr. Lam and Precision Dental, I went to True Dentistry for a consult. True Dentistry quoted me MORE THAN DOUBLE the price that Precision Dental quoted me. I almost fell over. Reasonably priced, pleasant efficient staff and a superb dentist. I will never go anywhere else for my personal dental care.

First things first: for new patients, you need to have a consultation-​type meeting with Dr. Lam. So with your very FIRST appointment in this office, you won’t be getting any procedures done. With your first visit, they’re going to get x-​rays for your teeth, jaw and head. Yes, they take a full cranium x-​ray shot of you. That will take about 30 – 40 minutes. Then you will meet Dr. Lam as he introduces himself, take a look at your jaw/​teeth/​gums and give you any kind of suggestions on what you might need done. Keep in mind, he won’t force you to do anything you don’t want.
He suggested I should get a deep cleaning done and have some cavities filled. So with my 2^nd appointment… I was scared shitless… almost to the point of tears!!! I was so closed in backing out and saying fuck this shit. But I knew I had to take care of my teeth. You get one side of your mouth done first and you have to come in again (separate appointment) to do the other half of your mouth. Yes, I know that sounds soooo time consuming and it was. I had to change a lot of my personal schedule around to fit these two separate visits in. But trust me, your mouth will thank you for it because you get numbed up pretty good and your gums may be sore for the next few days. It helps to have one working side so you can still eat.
Most importantly, the numbing gel was my life saver because I couldn’t really feel the numbing shots. And I had to get two. At one time, I had to get three! But with these shots… you don’t feel much. A quick needle poke here and there… some sensitivity pain in the gums but only for a quick few seconds. Once again, I have absolutely ZERO pain tolerance. ZERO!!! But I got through it and so will you. The entire deep cleaning process took about 20 minutes. Quicker than I thought. It was my cavity filling that took longer than anticipated. Entire visit from in the door and then out to my car was about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
After all this was said and done… you betcha I’ve been flossing, brushing AND mouthwash on the daily. No joke. I even bring floss with me everywhere I go. I’m not planning to through that shit again.

I have bad gums and need to get deep cleaning which I ignore because it is not comfortable. Got three cavities filled and deep cleaning today. They are great!!! They are aware of how scared I was and explained everything to me as they went. One of the employees let me squeeze his hand while they did the cavities. The deep cleaning was the easiest I ever got. I recommend this dentist to everyone!

I almost never write reviews for anything, but i was so impressed with Precision I had to write about it.
My great experience started by being greeted at the front desk by Fabby. She was very helpful in explaining everything and was super nice and friendly. I only waited 5 minutes before they called me back and the X-​Ray technician (not sure of her name) took my X-​Rays, and when I mentioned that my girlfriend in the waiting room is studying to be a dental hygienist she said it was OK for her to come back and watch everything.
When it came time to see Dr. Lam he was very informative and took the time to explain all of my pictures and X-​Rays. I normally dread doctors offices but he made me feel comfortable and never pressured me into getting any care I didn’t want. Cost was also a huge issue for me at my previous dentist, and when I mentioned this to Dr. Lam he had another member of his staff (not sure of her name either) break down all of the costs before any work began. Rex, the hygienist was also extremely helpful and kept me laughing while in the chair. My teeth look night and day better than they did before my cleaning.
All in all a great experience, and i would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lam and his staff to anyone!

Love this dentist! They always work around my schedule i love it. So friendly! Even though i hate goin to the dentist i don’t mind going here.

So needless to say im a huge coward at the dentist. I took myself and my daughter to Precision dental and there compassion is unparallel and they have care credit financing. I love this place. jackie and dr. lam are outstanding. I will be bringing in my 2 year old granddaughter. 5 stars in my book.

Very happy with this office. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and the visit was great. A little different than other offices, but that’s a great thing. There’s ONE doctor which is important. Would refer this office to anyone looking for a nice, friendly and organized practice.

I hated going to the dentist!!! Until I started going to see Dr Lam! Clean office, friendly staff and great work! He’s honest about what you need and doesn’t push services on you that you don’t need. Luckily for me, my weekends are on weekdays but they do open every other Saturday for those that can’t come during the week! Oh and they’ll put headphones on you while they work on your teeth to keep you distracted and calm! Highly recommend Dr Lam!

The ladies at the front desk are always smiling. The Hygienist, Rex, (spelling?) is also friendly and funny.

Unless you don’t work or have a really flexible work schedule, this place is probably not for you. I’m sure it works great for housewives and their families and Children but if you’re an individual who works and doesn’t have a lot of free time to spare, this is probably not the place for you.
I figure I’d save some people the time of calling and giving all your insurance info before they hit you with this…
Apparently they require you to come in 2x if you want to get a cleaning. They are completely unwilling to do x-​ray & exam on the same day as the cleaning if you’re new. I have been going dentists for over 20 years with x-​ray/​exam/​cleaning appointments 2 x per year like clock work and NEVER have I heard of such a ridiculous policy. Who has time to trek over twice for what should be done in 1 appointment? Even if I had the time, I don’t want to spend it traveling to and waiting at the dentist office TWICE for what 99% of dentists will do in 1 visit.
I will say they were very nice on the phone but considering I called specifically to schedule a CLEANING, it would have been nice to know this 2 appointment policy upfront, PRIOR to wasting both our times trying to confirm an appointment time and asking for all my insurance info.
Also, they are only open 1 Saturday per month for ½ day and it is usually booked up 2 months out so the Unilocal hours are incorrect!

My first time at Precision Dental & I give my visit an A+.
The staff are very friendly & professional from the girls at the front desk to Dr. Lam, they all made me feel comfortable. The office is very clean & modern looking.
I like how you get to see your x-​rays & pics of your teeth as they’re taking them. Had a routine cleaning and there was no water splashing over my face, no pain /​discomfort. Really like how you get a pair of headphones to listen to music you choose, which tunes out the noise of the drill.

Better service than I expected! Way better. Rex the hygenist is awesome, very knowledgeable about any question I asked, and Im the kind to ask a lot. He is also super gentle and doesnt leave the side of your lips all cut up from stretching them too much. Hes really good at what he does. Dr. Lim is also the same way! Really honest dentist and is not pushy at all with any future services, he is really honest and tells you what he recommends, which is mostly at home remedies! That is how I know hes a good doctor. He actually cares about your well-​being more than anything else. When I talk to him or Rex its like im talking to a close friend. The vibes are really uplifting there and to me that makes the night and day difference of a good practice and a hectic one.
I cant forget to mention even the sterilization people he has working behind the scenes, the X-​ray girl, the insurance girl, etc. are all very polite and friendly.
Good job Dr. Lim, you run a top notch practice and definitely deserve all of these good reviews.

Everyone here was helpful and friendly. Ava, the assistant, was explaining the whole procedure and the dentist as well was very descriptive with the explaination as to the reasoning of the loose tooth my fiancé had. They had a great translator since my fiancé does not speak english. The entire staff and I had a great conversation after the procedure and made me feel welcomed back so I will be making an appointment for myself very soon for a cleaning.

Dentistry is a tough business and I have heard it has a high suicide rate. I start with this because nobody likes going to the dentist. Meanwhile this place is very good and makes every effort to satisfy you. That is important as a customer. The equipment is up to date and they even had Pandora to listen to while your under the drill. I am not a fan of Pandora, but hey it’s better at the dentist then at home. I like my radio stations. Anyway, I recommend this place highly. It’s top notch and I have been to many dentists in living all over. Dr. Lam is very professional and kind. Bring your kids here too. I was recommended by a family man who brings his. Great job, for something that everyone hates…

If I could give this office more than five stars I would. The staff here is totally fantastic. I am a person who has spent a very long time avoiding the dentist due to fears of being there and was very afraid of my visit last Friday 2÷7÷14.
Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Lam took the time to talk to me and listen to what I had to say. He and his staff took the time to get to know me and help make the experience a great one.
His staff took the time to explain each step and what they were doing before they did it, even if they through I already knew, so no surprises. I was able to listen to music during the cleaning which was great.
If you are someone who is afraid of the dentist or who has had a bad experience in the past, this is the place for you. I would recommend this office to anyone.
I will be going back for all of my future dental needs. They have taken someone who dreaded going to the dentist and changed my mind. I want to say a huge thank you to them and I will most certainly be back.
