Pioneer Overhead Door

We called Pioneer to purchase a new garage door opener. The man who answered the phone was very terse and condescending. Due to a lack of better judgement we proceeded to purchase our garage door opener through Pioneer. Their website advertises a free keypad with the purchase of the garage door. They installed the garage door with no keypad. When I called the office regarding the keypad the woman who answered the phone said that was only a promotion if you called in a mentioned it. After going back and forth about honoring the offer displayed on their website, she said she’d mail it to us. Also, the installation wasn’t performed properly, the very first day we had an error code on our panel.
Four months later the garage has been having issues with closing. This is a brand new opener and already it’s having issues. There is an error message displaying on the panel. Naturally we called Pioneer and they’re telling us that the sensors aren’t aligned. I was not convinced that this was the issue because if you just wait a few minutes the door would go down. My husband tried their solution the door went down but the next time he used the door (an hour later) same problem.
The owner responded to the call with major attitude and threatened to charge us the next time he came out.
I’ve never encountered a business owner so pissed off about having new business. Furthermore, I implore anyone who’s reading this to consider a company who values their clientele. Pioneer Overhead Door surely does not. They will never get another dollar of mine.

My garage door would not open. Called for a 9 am appointment. 2 nice guys arrived just after 9. Opener just needed adjustment. They proceeded to fix a crack in the door. Thorough job done. Timely. Reasonable price. Very satisfied.

My garage door broke at the most inconvenient time– busy with work and such. It was older and probably should have been replaced a while back. I used pioneer to fix my mother garage door before. So I called first thing the next morning and spoke to a sales guy, can’t remember the name, and told him what I had, what I was looking for and what color I wanted. He said — when would you like it installed– I said, today if possible, he replied– no problem. The installers were out that morning and bing bang boom done! No hassle and very friendly service. And here’s the kicker, one of the panels had a slight blemish from the shipping strap that took some paint off– the installer said he called it in and his boss would handle it. Came home the next night after work and sure enough, done! They look fantastic and I can say I had a great experience with pioneer. I will use them for all my garage door needs in the future.

Called and schedule Pioneer to install garage door. Door was 10 days late from schedule date of installation. When tech came to install door, tech said that garage door opener needed a new computer board, and that it was be another service call and fee to come back out, this
after spending $ 2600.00 dollars for two new doors, After getting on you tube I figured out how
to adjust the garage door my self. Shitty service

Very impressed! My home warranty assigned them for a broken garage door opener… the guy came on time and did a great job. There was a possibility of it taking a while to get the required part as it was an older unit, but they called me back and said it would be the same day. The guy came back, replaced the part and reprogramed my two garage door remotes. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

It recently seemed like the motor for the garage door finally blew. After calling a couple places, Pioneer was the most professional. They answered all my questions over the phone, unlike other businesses who did not want to give me rough prices and wanted to setup a service call first. The gentleman from Pioneer told me what most likely happened and what it would cost to fix it. Other businesses were giving me prices for new openers rather than what «could be» wrong with my current one. Pioneer came out the next day and replaced my gearing and wheels. I will always deal with straight forward businesses like Pioneer!

Woke up to a busted spring on the garage door. Found Pioneer in a google search. Unilocal had a few negative reviews but I take those with a grain of salt (see below) I called and they said it could be repaired today. Within an hour I not only had them there but it was repaired quickly and professionally. I want to give a shout out to Adam and Robert, the team who came out for observing the problem and getting right to the repair finishing in about fifteen minutes. I will definitely call these guys again for any repairs on my overhead doors. Works better than it did yesterday (before busted spring). PS I realize a lot of the reviews here on Unilocal are a product of the owner and their friends/​enemies. This one I shared on Facebook so everyone can see it is legitimate.

Pioneer was a referral from my contractor. Needed a spring that broke replaced. They came just 1 ½ hours after calling. Both receptionist and tech were professional and work was completed quickly. Charged what was quoted on phone and no upsell.
Highly recommend.

It seems that when they came out to fix my original problem they caused another problem to my garage door. The owner was rude and extremely unprofessional! He did reluctantly send someone out to look at problem but told me you“re «lucky» I’m not charging you for this visit… REALLY!
They never fixed the problem. Had another company come out next day and within 15 minutes everything was fixed and working!
When I told second company who originally came out he laughed and told me they are a very unethical business! Well I learned the hard way!!!
Consumer BEWARE!!!

This company is AWESOME!!! I called them on a Friday around 12:30 p.m. someone was out at my house within 45 min to look at our garage. They gave us a quote and fixed our garage with a new motor. Cost was $ 395.00 and garage works perfect now! Thanks Pioneer Overhead Door.

I have thoroughly researched my question and the solution for my problem, yet I was flat out lied to and treated like garbage once I refused a «free estimate» at my office. I told him I knew what I wanted & had bought the stuff on amazon but the bar locks were too short for commercial, but once I refused the free estimate and possibility of him doing the work on my door, he did everything but call me an idiot and laughed and said he wouldn’t help me.
if I could give them ZERO STARS, I would. My father is a contractor and my family has owned residential and commercial property my whole life, so this business, and facets of this business are NOT new to me. I was treated like a moron & worse. FIND HELP ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

Horrible Customer Service! I called them to fix my garage door that had fallen off the track. They were very efficient in making it out in time and fixed it. After 1 day it started acting up. It was getting caught, bouncing and not going all the way up. I called back to see if I could get them back out. I started by tell the guy what i paid for them to come out and fix it, this is what they fixed, and now it’s acting up… etc… The guy immediately sounded irritated with me. As our conversation went on he told me «you paid $ 75 for 30 minutes of work, now I don’t mean to insult your intelligence, but that doesn’t include warranty» I WAS LIKE… DID THIS GUY JUST FUCKING SAY THAT TO ME!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT… ASSHOLE! I told him that I would look around and call back if I decided to go with his company. He then told me in a completely condescending way, «Now you understand it will be $ 75 if you do?» Never again will I deal with this company, nor recommend them… I will recommend to people who not to call that’s for sure!

Our garage door torsion spring broke last night. We called this morning and got an appointment set up right away. Kenny showed up on time and fixed the problem in just 20 minutes. I have read DIY material about how to replace garage door springs, so I know what to expect. But it is still such a joy to see Kenny do his job so efficiently. He projects great confidence in what he does, and it makes me very comfortable in knowing that his job is highly reliable. Not to mention all this is done at a below the market average price! I will definitely call them again for any garage door problem in the future!

My daughter and I both used this company and they were great. My daughter had 3 companies come out to repair her garage door. This was the only company that gave an estimate to repair the other two only wanted to sell her a new door.
The spring on my door was broken. In 15 minutes he had it repaired and it was a reasonable price. I feel this company it reputable and I highly recommend them for garage door repair. They also gave the lowest price for garage door replacement. I will use them again.

Never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. Worst customer service, ever.

I had a complex low overhead installation at my house. I called 5 Las Vegas companies. They all said they give free estimates but in reality the estimation didn’t amount to anything but sizing my pocketbook. 2 or 3 call backs and the prices doubled over the phone without even looking at the job. Unfortunately this is very common in Las Vegas. Pioneer however didn’t estimate anything over the phone. They sent 2 people out here including the company owner because when they saw the mess I had in my garage space, they needed a second opinion. Ron may not talk much but he sure knows his business. He figured out exactly what I had to do and gave me advice including an extra visit while we fixed the framing and the plumbing, so the doors would fit right later. By this time he was here 3 times and never asked for money which is unusual to say the least. After moving pipes and ceilings I ordered finally ‘normal’ garage doors. The installers were true professionals and I ended up with an installation which I am proud of. Besides this, I paid less than anyone else had quoted. I look at results for my money, and I certainly received expert advice, expert installation and the best price of 6 vendors. Very impressive work, highly recommendable. When it comes to my house I am not picky, I am an ‘axe grinder’. Pioneer lived fully up to my standards which is hard to do !

So RUDE! The guy laughed at me when I asked him a question. He would not give me a free estimate. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I would NOT recommend these people to my worst enemy!!!
